I really enjoy this place. Their ribs are off the chain (I prefer the whole ribs rather than the tips) and I can drink their bbq sauce. I absolutely love their greens and when the mac isn't over-salted, it's really good too. I mistakenly thought their wings were undercooked, but much later realized they were SMOKED which causes the pink. Delicious take out, great customer service. I left from the fun spot and found this place nearby on Yelp. We ordered Rib tips, Salmon, Collard Greens, String beans, Yams, Potato salad and Yellow rice. With 2 plates a side and 3 drinks the order came to $55. After a few coasters and go karts this was amazing. Parking is easy out front in an open parking lot and you'll see a white sign with red lettering, in the cut. There wasn't much of a wait and pro tip get there early or order. Like every BBQ place the food runs out so we missed out on the wings and brisket. We'll be back definitely. I had the taste for some ribs and the place I normally go to was closed. So I used yelp to find another place and Smokehouse came up. It's crazy because I ALWAYS go to the McDonald's right on the corner, but never took the time to see what else was in the shopping plaza. Which was obviously a huge mistake lol. Upon walking in, the place was somewhat packed. People placing orders, people waiting for orders, and people also eating. However it wasn't loud or anything. It appeared to be really clean as well. It didn't take long for me to place my order and the young lady was very pleasant. I decided on the ribtips plate with collard greens and Mac and cheese. I also got a mango lemonade. I sat down and awaited my order, which didn't take long. When I got back home, the food didn't stand a chance. These ribtips surpassed perfection!!!!!! They were juicy, tender, and well seasoned. The serving was a lot bigger than I expected but I was soooo happy because they were sooo good. The Mac and cheese tasted like it had a spiciness to it, however it was good too. Same with the collards!! And we're not going to talk about that mango lemonade lol. Everything was soooo good. And it looks like my bbq spot has been replaced. It's about a 50 minute drive but so worth it. My husband and I had a taste for Smokhouse ATL on yesterday. We had 2 rib tip sandwich meals and a1/2 slab. They did not disappoint. Oh, and let's not forget the RED BBQ SAUCE!! I sop it up with the bread which comes with the orders. The sauce is sooo GOOD!! The place is very neat and clean. I ordered a half pan of smoked wings 48 hours ahead of time which cost 85.00 + taxes total 92.00 with taxes. The 1/2 pan was suppose to feed 10-15 people... I thought it was a little expensive; however I did not want to cook and need it for a family function. Nevertheless, I did not uncover the pan until it was time for guest of 12 to arrive. Once I uncovered I noted that there was only 35 pieces of wings I was pissed they actually smoke the largest pieces of wings they could find to fill in the pan. Just like when they slick place bread at the bottom of your dinners and put meat on top to make you think that you have a lot of meat. Beware of your catering purchase. The bag that my food was in had a nice note so the service was good. I was a bit disappointed in the taste of the food because I was expecting something totally different. The ribs are good I'm glad the sauce comes on the side but the sauces are great and the yellow sauce is not good at all.
