From weekly cleaning to complex repairs, Arnold is always there to take care of our pool needs. Our current regular man is Hector. What a gentleman and kind soul! He takes pride in his work and just doesn't "mow, blow and go!" He brushes, cleans, always checks chemicals and empties debris baskets. They show up regularly and on time, every time. Arnold has done countless repairs for me on my rental property pools since 2009 even if they are out of his area. From electrical, to filters, acid wash and other problems we have had. He also does the monthly service at my personal home in Upland. He always shows up on the same day at the same time, if not him personally it will be one of his employees. We have a big dog that we have to keep inside the day that he comes so it's very important that he comes on time every single week, which we are so happy he does. I have tried to use other pool guys for my out of area pools, but always end up getting 2nd opinions from him and begging him to do the work. Please be aware! I was charged three times more for an item, actually 4x, and he refused to provide the receipt. This is crazy! I also found out that my pool was not been maintained as I thought from the new pool guy (Ph was extremely high and I needed to replace a part of the filter. We just purchased a house in Ontario and had no idea how to maintain a pool. Our pool was green, had Mosquitos and looked like a swamp. We went with another pool service who had great reviews but we're disappointed because they just looked at the pool, gave us a quote and told us they could start the next day. We thought of getting a second opinion and much more reasonable prices, that's when we called Arnold. When he came to our house he tested the water, brought his equipment and got to work right away. He put in some chemicals and found out that the internal filter grids were broken. Arnold came back later that same day and the pool already looked 40% better with the chemical he had put in it. He brought new grids, which we agreed to purchase, used the net to take out leaves and dirt. Arnold came back the next morning again to vacuum and do final touches and by this time the pool already looked 100% good to go. He did however warn us because of the chemicals that we should wait. DO NOT HIRE THIS GUY... he has the worse customer service ever! He is the worse Pool Guy I ever hired... that's why I fired him! He should NOT call himself a Pool Guy because he does not care about the quality of his work! He will finish cleaning ANY size pool, in the winter, fall, spring or summer, during high winds, leaves, dust & dirt in 10 minutes... the max time he will spend on cleaning any pool is 10 minutes. He adds chemicals to the pool based on the time of year, and his schedule; without checking to see if chemical are needed, which means more $$ for him. Adding unnecessary chemicals can cost you a lot of $$$ to balance out the pool chemical. At the beginning of the summer, he added some conditioner to my pool, which were NOT needed, because the previous day, I had added conditioner to my pool. It might not sound like a big deal but it was because the chlorine would not work and I had to drain my pool, which would require more chlorine, more chemicals and a lot more water...save yourself the money and don't hire this guy! . read more

Had his services for about a year. I really was not happy with the Pool cleaning always looking green. Charges extra fees for summer Pool cleaning when it should already be ready a year round. In one occasion I left him know of the green algae and that I needed it to be cleaned ASAP because I was having a bday Pool party. He was not even apologetic but was bothered because he doesn't work on Saturdays. He wanted me to baby sit and monitor after every cleaning so I could let him know ahead of time so he can clean it on a weekday. It's not my job nor responsibility to be checking weekly when I'm paying for services. After letting his co go my Pool guy had nothing but bad things go say about his services, my pump was ready to die the filters were never cleaned (mind you I was changed an additional fee for it) and he was having the Pool back washing which caused our water bill to go up. This company is really bad. Don't leave them alone if you're going on vacation. I went to vacation and when I came back the pool was empty. He claims that he emptied out because the water turned green due to lack of water. First, it needs more than lack of water for the water to turn green. Second, that's why you pay someone to maintain it, Third, he knew I was out of the country, out of courtesy he could have fill it up. Fourth, he was not authorized to empty the pool, I researched and no one can empty the pool without owner authorization. Hired Arnold to do an acid wash, conditioning, power wash and installation of a new pump. Unfortunately 6 days after he did this, the pool is still dirty at the bottom and we're unable to use it. Contacted him several times, was told to wait several days until it cleared up. Finally asked him to come see it to address the issue so that I can use my pool. He was curt and short, basically just plain rude. Told me it wasn't his fault that the pool is dirty. Wait! Didn't I hire you to clean it up??
