Tony starts with a visit and a site survey, from there he listens to what you want from a design perspective. He will tell you what is and what is not possible keeping in mind the city ordinance and the forces of nature (sun, wind, rain, etc) and then suggest a cover that will work for your project and budget. Once the design and engineering is done, then he submits plans to review and once they are approved your patio will be installed between 1-3 days. My patio is 55 feet by 15 feet and was installed in 2 days. Tony is a true multi generational talented experienced builder and patio's is all he does. He takes great pride in his work and charges a very fair price for his work. My patio has electrical, fans, drains and two fewer posts to make patio seem very open concept. There are no gimmicks or heavy "salesman" type pressure. He takes time to listen to your needs and does his best to meet them given the project budget and other limitations. He was the only person that I got a bid from that seemed so well-versed in the permitting process and all of the structural requirements of our city. Due to the ongoing supply chain issues, it took about 3 months for our materials to come in, but once they were in, Tony contacted us and the project was completed very quickly. My patio was built in 1985. Very old and VERY not up to code. I knew I needed it to be replaced but I also knew I didn't want to incur the cost of wood, which is VERY expensive. I looked in to alternatives and decided on alumi-wood. Even the man who gave me the estimate for my new wood patio ( over $12,000) said HE would get alumi-wood if this was his house. He has this calm voice that helps me relax when spending big money. While he was at my home giving the estimate he drew up what it would look like on his iPad. Tony (the owner)was the one to give me an estimate. Very friendly and easy going guy. He also installed my sister and brother in law's patio but I didn't know that until I met him. He gave me an estimate the same day we met. He was the third company I had received an estimate from and his was not the cheapest but not the highest estimate but I liked the differences in his work than in the other companies. He gave me an accurate time for installation which was about two weeks after estimate due to the fact that where I live, the city takes a long time to issue a permit so that was not in his control plus I wasn't in a hurry. Installation day came and his guys were very clean and detailed. I noticed other patio coverings within my neighborhood and I have to say mine looks so much nicer because the gutter drains are inside the beams. See images for reference. I waited to review because I wanted to see how it would hold up with the winds because our winds can be very very high. I have called this guy 2 times and both times he was a complete jerk. I understand that you run and operate your business but you can always respectfully answer calls. The first time I called was when I was going through yelp calling different businesses to get info. He was the rudest human being I had to deal with out of all of them. Then one of my neighbors used him to make patio and I asked for the number not knowing it was the same rude guy. I called and he was a complete jerk. He was super rude according to him he was at someone's house giving them his full attention.
