My experience has been a smooth and pleasant one with Dr. Homa Zadeh. He is very talented and achieved outstanding results following my procedure. I was dealing with severe pain on my gums every time I was brushing my teeth. I kept putting it off because I was so scared to address it. Every day the pain was intensifying, so it left me no choice but to face it. My grandma referred me to her periodontist, Dr. Homa Zadeh. I went to his Ventura location which was 1.5 hours away. I was impressed from the moment I walked in the office. The space is beautiful and very modern. I was greeted with a huge smile from Nicole at the front desk. She checked me in and I filled out my paper work. I sat with Dr. Zadeh and I instantly knew this was my dentist. I felt safe and calm with him. His knowledge and years of experience blew me away. I scheduled my surgery for 24 hours later due to the severity of my case. The surgery went better than perfect. Felt absolutely nothing and was comfortable the entire procedure. Dr. Zadeh is simply the best. My gum graft procedure honestly could not have gone any smoother. I am a little over 4 weeks post-procedure and healing extremely well. I have received periodontal care by Drs Homa Zadeh and Sara Tanavoli. I had gum recession. Dr Zadeh has developed the VISTA technique which was used for me and was able to achieve excellent results. They used platelet therapy which used my own blood platelets. The healing process was painless and very fast. I had put off this treatment because of my fear. But Drs Zadeh and Tanavoli made me feel very comfortable. They explained everything to me in advance so on the day of procedure there were no surprises. This will shock you. I went to have a cleaning xrays and see Dentist. All the staff is great hygienest was good and the person that took the xrays great. The dentist however entered the room without a mask. I had to ask to please put it on. He did not do so instead he put gloves on and proceeded to wipe his nose with his gloved hand 3 times. Under no circumstances is that ok If this man thinks it is okay not to wear a mask thats a problem as he is required to do so as a medical professional but to think he can wipe his nose and then put is hand on in or near someone's mouth is crazy. Even if covid were not an issue one does not wipe your nose and and proceed with an exam. Colds flu or a number of any contagious illness will spread from his behavior He than did put his mask on. When he went to the next room he was unmasked. If he behaves like this in front of patients what does he do behind closed doors. Frankly under any circumstances his actions were disgusting. Use a tissue (which were in the room) wash your and and put clean gloves on. read more

We had prepaid for some extensive dental work (implants). Along the way (it is not one day in and out like the radio advertisements say). There are bone grafts, post implants and the time for things to heal and bond, it can take several months before the posts are topped with teeth. For us some changes were made during the process such as a pulled tooth and an extra implant. These changes where paid for on the visit that they occurred. The teeth finally completed we had no thought that anything else was to be paid. We made sure every time something came up that it was taken care of that visit. Six months after our last visit (we changed dentist as it was felt that the procedures were too painful to keep seeing this practice) we received a bill for an unpaid balance. Included was an extensive list of the procedures done by date, what each cost and a running balance of drawdown of our original payment, credits, and payments made for changes. As organized as it seemed on the surface it was worse than reading the tax code. The bill had indicated an addition of a tooth to the work. The number of the tooth (teeth are numbered so that it is universally understood which tooth is referenced) indicated was part of the original work to be done so I couldn't understand how it could be extra. I asked for better clarification so that we were paying a just bill or they made a mistake. What followed two weeks later (does it take two weeks?) we got the same bill with slightly less information. Even though we felt the bill unjust (a bit more than $1300) we felt that fighting it in court wasn't worth cost and the hassle of a possible credit hit for not paying it would not be worth it. read more
