I've been seeing Dr. Raymond the last few years and she always does exceptional, careful, and quality work. She's done multiple fillings for me that have caused no issues at all and always takes the time to make sure my bite feels good. I'm a night grinder and just went in for my second crown on a cracked tooth. Dr. Raymond and her assistant Rosselyn did a wonderful job and I am happily pain free after months of putting it off and suffering through barely being able to chew on that side. Any star given are all for the office staff and dental hygienist. They were attentive, checking often to make sure I wasn't in pain from the deep cleaning I needed. My first hygienist was compassionate and helped ease any anxiety during the cleaning, did a wonderful job explaining step by step procedure. It had been years since my last cleaning elseware, and my first time at Ashwood and she was the reason I felt ok going back for the second part of the deep cleaning and amalgam filling replacement. Can't say the same for Victor the dentist who did the filling replacement. When back after the anesthetic wore off, crying from discomfort. He was unwilling to revise his work after clearly explaining what I am feeling. The way he would explain why he refused was very condescending and belittling. On top of all that, I can feel grinding down a tooth that didn't need any drilling. Now I have a throbbing migraine and toothache until I get to see my previous doctor. If could give the hygienist and office staff a separate rating of 5 stars, I certainly would. read more

This dentist says he tried to contact us, not true at all. He says he had no contact info but at the end he says he contacted us multiple times so which is it no contact info or you contacted us? The work was awful! You charged over $3500 and never returned a penny for the work that kept one unable to eat due to your work. Don't go you will regret it. read more

This office was the absolute worst experience I have ever had! I went in hoping to have a holistic consult for dental service, but had just barely sat down and they wanted to take multiple X-rays. I told them I did not want to do Xray and was just in for a consult. They told me I had to before I would see the Dr. I tried to explain that I had a history of thyroid issues and then the lady became frustrated and got the office manager. She came in already disturbed and proceed to tell me that if I didn't take the Xray I would have to leave in an EXTREMELY RUDE tone. I was not happy and again reiterated I wanted to do a consult with the doctor first but said I would take one Xray if absolutely needed and requested a thyroid cover. She started to yell at me staying that was stupid and they did not have one. I told her I would have to find another dentist then proceeded to get out of the chair. The office manager then started getting frantic and said I would have to pay for the full office visit. I stared to walked out and she started to chase me, saying I have to pay first. OMG! I would NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE! Needless to say, I have a bill for a full office visit, have not paid and can not seem to get a hold of the office. I wish I could have simply spoken to the actual dentist. As a holistic doctor myself and practice owner, I would highly recommend looking for a new office manager and train the staff on proper thyroid patient protocol. read more

This place is a rip off they have fees for anything. They even tried to charge me $75 for an "annual fee" ??? What is this a gym membership? I have insurance, what is this annual fee u speak of? Lol your trippin! Also I had a crown replaced with them and 2 years later I found out it's the wrong size and now needs to be replaced AGAIN, and insurance only covers every 5 years, so I'll have to pay out of pocket. Another problem they did to me was in the height of the pandemic 2021 when the city was slowly opening the schools, my daughter got accepted back into her school at the time. They were letting them come back on certain days, but everything was up in the air. I had a 9:00am appointment with this establishment the following morning. My daughters school called me at 3:00pm the prior day and informed me she could start the following morning at 9:00am. I called Ashwood Dental to explain the situation. Guess what Emily could care less she didn't give a fuck. She told me that will be a charge of $50 for not giving them 24 hrs notice.... in the middle of the pandemic. My family has been going to Ashwood Dental for more than 5 years and we couldn't be happier with our Dentist! Dr. Sargissian and his staff are always friendly and helpful. They are very sensitive to your needs and make sure you are thoroughly comfortable during any procedures. They are even open on a few Saturdays a month to work around work and school schedules! I like that they maintain a "green practice" and provide a "mercury-safe" facility. The office is right on telegraph near Ventura College and has a lot of large windows and natural lighting which is a pleasant change from most offices with only flourescent lights. The worst dentist I have been to. They are money HUNGRY. They charged me so much for my intro visit ($60) and then had a cleaning done, it was $200! WTF. I have seen the doctor several times now and didn't quit as I have done it in the past. I went into Dr Sargissian's office for a full exam and X-rays. I was so excited to find a holistic metal free office in Ventura! I had a great exam and also explained to the doctor that there were some imperfections in my smile that I was looking to fix. The doctor suggested I do an "Invisalign scan" to see what my smile would look like after orthodontic work. I was pleasantly surprised to learn how quick and easy the scan was. It took about 10 minutes. Judy scanned my entire smile and I was able to see a virtual representation of what my teeth would look like once I finished Invisalign. I am so excited to begin my ortho treatment! The technology at this office blew me away and it was so cool to be able to see what my finished product would look like before committing to the treatment. I would 10/10 recommend this office to anyone looking for orthodontic work WITHOUT metal braces. read more

Dr. Lori Cardellino was awful! I went to her to have my amalgams taken out. Not only did she give me a mercury tattoo on my lip but I also ended up having a root canal because of the pain. It was so unbearable. Her knowledge in holistic dentistry is superb but her hands on are just downright awful. Avoid this dentist at all cost. She goes to health expos and conventions but one would never suspect that she is not very good with her hands. read more

I went in about 2 weeks ago for a regular exam. The doctor said I needed an implant - I thought it was odd. I had a pain in my tooth but it went away. He explained to me I had an infection and mentioned the whole process of getting an implant. He said it would be $5,000! That's absolutely absurd. I decided to go to a different dentist and explained to him what had happened with the previous doctor. He took X-Rays and explained to me that I did NOT have an infection and an implant was unnecessary. Turns out I just had a cavity, hence don't need an implant.
