I had the most amazing experience during my time at Brighton Vista Apartments. The community there is chill and everyone is nice. The amenities for the price is unheard of and if there was ever a time something needed to get fixed, the service order was completed in a timely way. Vilma (landlord) has been there as long as I was and she made my time there feel like home. If you're looking for a spacious place with in-unit washer and dryer, covered parking (not tandem thankfully), gym AND a spa/pool, this is the place. I'd recommend highly!!! read more

We had been looking at apartments for several years. When we found this place, we knew this was exactly what we were looking for. We have lived here for nine months, and we know we have found our forever home. Our manager, Vilma makes sure everything is taken care of in a very professional manner. I lived here for 2 years in a studio upstairs. Unfortunately, I had to leave because the rent became very expensive, but it made me so sad to leave! The area is very nice, quiet, and clean. Neighbors are not loud or messy. There is a library and park right next to the apartments, as well as numerous restaurants and grocery stores in the area. There is a fitness studio with cardio equipment, a jacuzzi, and a pool. There's an on-site laundry facility that never gets full - I was always able to wash when I wanted. Vilma, the landlord, and Kyle from maintenance always fixed any of my service requests within 48 hours. The only issue I had was that my studio didn't have a window in the bathroom, so mildew would accumulate quickly, especially in the winter when I showered. I had to get into the habit of wiping down the walls whenever I showered. Overall, this was a beautiful and great place to live, I'm definitely going to miss it! read more

We stayed in this apartment complex for a few years and switched units a couple of times. The first time was because of mold and there wasn't a window in the bathroom, and the second time was because we moved into a newer place (but also there were some issues with people smoking outside and there was a really weird smell coming from the living room). We really liked Vilma, however, we were a little disappointed with the security deposit/inspection. She came to check out our unit about three weeks before we moved out and she told us to basically not clean up because they were going to bring in cleaners anyway. She made it seem like maybe it would cost $250-$350 and it was an unavoidable charge. We were definitely going to clean and had a few people on deck to help us (we had three weeks to move and were moved out completely with a week to spare. Of course, we could've cleaned), but after her advice, we left it as is and just primed the wall we painted, as asked. We didn't think it was a big deal, because when we moved out of the first apartment, we got the full deposit back and only lightly cleaned. We left the stove dirty, a couple of dishes on the counter, we gave them a free fridge, and the bathroom wasn't touched, but the rest of the apartment looked like how we moved in originally. Well, we only got about half the deposit back, and when we asked for an itemized receipt, it just said "extra dirty". She wasn't able to give us an itemized receipt. After telling her the law requires an itemized receipt, the original was strangely suddenly edited to just mirror the emails i.e. "dirty stove". It was strange because the "cleaning company" did not respond to us after reaching out to them several times, but she was able to get an edited receipt within an hour? We went back-and-forth with her for a while, but she eventually just stopped responding. Feels extremely shady. I would just be very very very careful moving into these apartments. Swindling is a sport I guess. read more

I moved into my beautiful, bright and cheery apartment in the beautiful, bright and cheery Brighton Vista complex on November 1, 2013 - and I couldn't be happier. The location is ideal. It's close to all the best restaurants, grocery stories, CVS, even the most beautiful church is right up the street. The grounds of the complex are meticulous. The management is fantastic. The amenities are astounding (pool, whirlpool, fitness center). And the apartment itself, of course, is gorgeous....and you just can't beat having the washer-and-dryer right in the apartment. I love this complex. I'm in an upper corner studio and it's so spacious. Unfortunately I have to leave LA and am very sad to leave this complex. It's safe, secure and quiet. Vilma, the apartment manager, is quick at responding to any questions or concerns. I like the online account access to pay and put in any maintenance requests. It makes life very easy. They allow pets here and have a beautiful and always clean pool and spa. The laundry facilities are available 24/7 and I never have to wait for a washer/dryer. I don't know what the other Yelp reviewer meant with mold, but I haven't seen any signs of mold or soft spots in the walls. There is no musty/moldy odor. And I have bad allergies and have not experienced a single respiratory problem. I am sad to leave, but if/when I come back, this will be the first place I look to move back into. read more

The property manager Vilma was always very attentive to service issues and was on top of any community issues like noise levels and pool usage rules and unfailingly polite. I first chose Brighton Vista because it is conveniently located in Burbank, close to the University I am going to (I am an international student), close to shops, cafes, the Burbank library and pretty much everything you could need. Parking space provide and also lots of outside parking available nearby for your friends who would come to visit you. The apartments are spacious and worth the price, love the wooden floor. And if you are like me someone who cares a lot about his clothes, having both washer and dryer IN your unit is just fantastic. I agree with all the comments about the manager, Vilma, who is extremely nice and friendly. I've been for 6 months and I feel at home, far from home. What I would like to stress is how efficient Vilma and her maintenance team are. Because I think you can see how great a place and management are when you are in trouble. I had a couple problems with my washing machine flooding the place 9Hey, stuff happens, what can you do!) and in the emergency, at night, Oscar from maintenance came after Vilma promptly reacted and they took care of the flooding just like that. Vilma contacted the company and my machine got fixed in just two days. I feel really backed-up in Brighton Vista and this is as important to me than the location and the apartment itself. Finally, the amenities are great (heated pool, jacuzzi and a fitness center, small but that has all the essentials, it's not a gym.) and all the neighbors are friendly. If I ever have any concerns about anything I can reach the manager ASAP 24/7 and any and all issues are literally addressed the next day. Located just walking distance from a scenic park and library in the heart of Burbank, the building is peaceful tranquility. Its centralized location makes it the perfect launch point to every major area of Los Angeles. The onsite resident manager Vilma is also the best manager we have ever had the pleasure of living alongside. Since our first day here, and across the years, she has always been kind, friendly, and quick to fix any minor needs with above and beyond care. There's not enough good things to say about having Brighton Vista as your home. This was my first apartment living experience and has been so easy and pleasant. I often hear my friends venting about their management, but Vilma truly takes care of you. She is very responsive, even via email which helps so much! All requests are taken care of very promptly. The complex is always clean and peaceful. As the other reviews have said, parking is no problem, even street parking for visitors, which is amazing living in LA area. My husband and I lived at Brighton Vista Apartments for well-over 10 years. We hated to move away, but are taking care of his parents and had to find a place closer to them. Everything the reviewers on this front page are saying is absolutely true. The landscaping is gorgeous. The pool, Jacuzzi, work-out room and BBQ's are great! If your unit doesn't have a washer and dryer, there is a laundry room that's never crowded. And they are pet-friendly! But the best thing is the on-site management. Just one phone call gets any problem dealt with immediately. Anyone who lives here is envied by all other apartment-dwellers in Burbank. Oh, and as far as the neighbors, you get the best of both worlds. If you want to be left alone, you are. If you want to chat and make friends, you can. You won't be sorry if you move here! read more

The manger has always been responsive to maintenance needs (including a plumbing backup in the middle of the night - a repairman was there that night, without having to wait till the next day). I just moved out of Brighton Vista after 9 years and I was happy living there each one of them. The building is extremely well maintained. Pool & Jacuzzi always sparkling. The Jacuzzi is always heated, the pool during Daylight Saving period. The common areas including barbeques, were always clean, the landscape always manicured. But the best feature of Brighton Vista Apts is the wonderful manager, Vilma. Always happy and always with a smile to greet you; and most important, always ready to handle any concern. She can always turn around the rare unhappy tenant, with a argantuan problem, leaving them happy and satisfied when they walked away. Any repair or maintenance I needed in my apt was handled quickly and well. They schedule spring and fall inspections for the forced air/heating units, changing the filters and also batteries in fire alarms. Oscar, the building maintenance person, is always pleasant and proficient. And he always cleaned up when finished! I highly recommend Brighton Vista. I always felt safe there and happy to come home to such a pleasant environment. read more
