The food service and ambiance were aces. Always a great spot to go to celebrate life's occasions with the people you enjoy celebrating life with.

Cracker breading from the lobster and lump crab mac & cheese

My brother-in-law and I picked this place for a special occasion. When we arrived, the hostesses greeted us warmly and directed us to our tables. Ashley was our server and, before I get too far into this review, she was awesome. I feel confident saying so on behalf of my family, as well. The interior lights were low and my sister and I identified the decor as masculine. My sister called it a massive man cave, especially because of the large screen monitors tuned in to the sport action of the day over top a large bar. To be fair, I only experienced one section of the restaurant but there appeared to be at least two more--a wine room perhaps? The only food item I ordered was the lamb chop pops. OH EM GEE!!! SO delicious with and without the mint sauce! This was my first time ordering lamb chops from any restaurant. (I usually cook them for my husband.) There were so many pops that I shared with my husband and sister, ate till I was full, and took four home. Normally I would ask others how their meals tasted or I'd take some from my husband. This time I was too focused on my own dish. I also ordered the garlic spinach but had not eaten any at the restaurant. My husband grabbed a spoonful and declared that it was really good--and he isn't easily impressed or declarative. I also took home a dish with elements that I love separately and combined--lobster and lump crab macaroni & cheese. Once I got home, that was the first thing I grabbed. I couldn't wait!!! And I was sooo disappointed. The cheese was great. The lobster meat was present and there was a good amount of it. But the lump crab meat was nowhere to be found. I KNOW lump crab meat because I eat it a few days each week. In addition, the dish tasted mildly sweet--it was a very mild taste. AND, as I ate (looking for the elusive lump crab meat) I came across weird looking pieces, which I later deciphered to be crackers. Specifically, it looked like a Ritz cracker, initially hidden by the main ingredients. I think the sweetness was coming from crumbled cracker on top of the dish. To me it was like raisins in the potato salad. I scooped out wet cracker pieces (pictured) so that I can enjoy the rest of the meal that didn't have the lump crab meat. My disappointment in this dish is the sole reason why I gave this place four stars. The next morning I warmed up the lamb chops in the air fryer. Day 2 tasted ok. The finish had a liver-like texture. At night I ate the spinach. Very good. I recommend going. My sister loved the tomahawk, the seafood, and beverages. My husband ate the steak, the kids loved their cheeseburgers and all the gooey cheese. And I thoroughly enjoyed my lamb chop pops. However, if you order the lobster and lump crab meat mac & cheese, make sure the name matches the dish. Go.

If you are looking for a spot to celebrate a special occasion, the ChopHouse should definitely make it on to the list. To help you narrow down your choices, allow me to share our most recent visit. We had not been to The Chophouse in a long time, as it is an area that we don't frequent. However, we had a little something to celebrate and my mom wanted to take us out for a family dinner. Valet parking is available, with about half the lot being reserved for these spaces. It almost seems unnecessary but it definitely adds to the upscale feel they're trying to evoke. We were greeted by three young hostesses, which brought me back to my days as a teen at my first restaurant job. They escorted us to our table in a far back room surrounded by windows overlooking the lake. The views were stunning, the only caveat is the acoustics in the room cause it to be loud. If you're looking for a romantic evening, you're going to have to sit super close to each other or yell, but the views make it worth it. I started with a sangria while my husband ordered the smoked old fashion and our mothers stuck to water. The smoked old fashioned was presented more uniquely than we had ever seen before. We are used to the little smoke presentation with a cloche but this was something I can't even describe. The bread presentation consisted of a few flatbread like crackers and assorted rolls. We decided to skip appetizers and went straight for entrees. My husband and I did the tomahawk for two and for the table we ordered the lyonnaise potatoes and brussels sprouts. My mother in law got the scallops and my mom did filet mignon. The tomahawk was cooked to perfection and served with four dipping sauces. As someone who is obsessed with sauces, this was a highlight for me. Everything was delicious as expected and of course we had to have dessert since it was a celebration. My mother in law opted for the brownie sundae which was actually steaming from the warm brownie and she devoured. My husband and I shared the chocolate layer cake, which of course was great. The noise level and difficulty to socialize is really the only downside. The views are beautiful and food was great.

Service was great, filet mignon was exceptional, the lobster was good, the side dish potatoes with onions were awesome, the atmosphere was pleasant, clean, and inviting. Drinks were fine.

5 star experience my first time here for my wife's 30th. This is definitely a special occasion type of spot if you want 4 courses, not that you have to spend that type of momey, but that's what we did...and every penny was well worth it. Our server Destiny was insanely sweet, knowledgeable about the menu imside and out, and attentive - like request her if you go good. We definitely will next time! Ambiance- beautiful inside with a classy firetable and two well appointed, modern bars. Complimentary bread was good. Soups were excellent. Spicy three pepper calamari- that's a must order app! On to the important stuff - the steaks. My bone-in ribeye was the most flavorful steak I've ever eaten. I've had dry aged cuts elsewhere, but the flavor of this steak was insane. One bite in I knew this was more than a steak...this was an experience. Kona crusted filet topped with jumbo lump crab meat - also out of bounds good. Great cocktails, and ended it with coffee and a brownie sundae that was big enough to split. It's cool when you expect a place to be good and it exceeds those expectations. Well done chophouse. FYI - valet only, so bring cash.

I came here for my birthday and had a pleasant experience. We were seated pretty fast and the service was attentive to our needs. My steak was cooked perfectly and my crème brûlée was delicious. I'd definitely come back!

My response from Colleen to wanting to sit by the windows.

I was planning a 60th Birthday dinner for my boyfriend for 17 people. Colleen was most unhelpful. My only request was to sit somewhere with windows. I did not want to sit in a dark room. She continually ignored my request, had no desire to help plan the dinner, it was like pulling teeth to get any answers from her. The picture included is after 15 emails back and forth. The picture is her response to me asking to sit on the patio or by the windows. She decided we would be better suited to sit in a dark basement that looks like a prison cell. She was dismissive and rude throughout the process which ultimately made me go elsewhere to plan my party. If she is an indication of how my dinner party would go I did not want to move forward. Spend your money elsewhere, if you're planning a $3000 dinner you will be treated like a waste of their time. Do not go to this restaurant unless you like being treated like a bother. My party is now planned at a high end steakhouse with very accommodating and helpful staff! Best decision to stop engaging with this joke of a restaurant.

Had an amazing birthday dinner with my wife! We ordered the tomahawk steak for two--it was incredible, so savory. I tried the Smokin' Old Fashioned, which came with a torch and a smoky presentation--such a cool experience. They even gave me a complimentary birthday crème brûlée, which was a nice touch. Our server was excellent, perfectly timing everything after asking if we were in a rush. The oysters were great too. Overall, a fantastic place for dinner. My wife did mention I should note that they only had one small bathroom available--lol!

We didn't realize that the restaurant was a part of a country club until we arrived (no where in the reviews did it mention this) but we've done brunch at other country clubs throughout Jersey and it was wonderful. Upon entering the restaurant we saw their only brunch option was for a brunch buffet and from our quick scans of the buffet walking to the hostess stand we all decided we would not be doing brunch (pastries looked like they were from Coscto, warm food looked as though it had been sitting there for a while and the omelettes coming from the omelette station didn't look spectacular so we opted to do their lunch menu instead. Service was SSSLLLLLOOOOOWWWWW! From the very beginning until the very end. It took about 15 minutes before our server arrived to greet us, then another 15 for our first round of cocktails to come out, the about a half an hour for us to be told that they were out of 1 of the 3 appetizers we ordered ... so no lie, after being there a full hour we finally received 2 of the 3 appetizers and were then just able to order a second round of cocktails and our main courses. The cocktails weren't the greatest either. We thought perhaps the first round was our fault because we all tried their "blackberry espresso martini" and we knew it was a risk from the beginning ... so we ordered "safer" cocktails for round 2 and the prosecco based cocktails were even worse than the blackberry espresso martinis smh. I truly don't understand how one messes up prosecco + a splash of limoncello and cranberry (that was what was supposed to be in the cocktail) but they certainly messed it up, to the point where I didn't drink it. Our entrees finally arrived and WOMP WOMP WOMP! Overall every single one was MID at best ... and all I had was French onion soup and a wedge salad .... like how is it possible for those to be BLAH? Food was so MEH we didn't even take pics lol. Needless to say we all agreed we wouldn't be back and wished we had decided on what was our 2nd option for brunch instead.

There's two dining areas that can be chosen with one having a bar that can seat 10+ people. Started with a couple of great drinks and their french onion soup. The soup was topped with a cheese layer and pieces of crostinis within the soup. Great for a snowy day. The california chicken wrap was a big meal especially with the flaky french fries on the side. The sandwich needed more chipotle mayo on the side which was great for the fries. My medium rare wagyu burger with the bacon jam was HUGE! The jam did taste like beef jerky which was a new experience. We will definitely be back to try some of their other menu items.

She explained the menu well, shared a few laughs with us, and truly added to our overall experience. And the food--delicious! The crab dip was absolutely amazing. The short ribs were tender and full of flavor, and the grilled pork chop was huge, juicy, and cooked perfectly. Everything we ordered was delightful. Then came dessert! My daughter loves Key lime pie, but I normally do not. Well, Redstone changed my mind! Oh my goodness! The creaminess, buttery flavor, and overall deliciousness of that Key lime pie had us going crazy. I instantly became a Key lime pie fan--it was THAT good! Now for the one CON: the women's restroom. Redstone, your restaurant is beautiful, the food and service are excellent, and our bill for two was over $200, so the restrooms should reflect the same level of quality. Unfortunately, they did not. The glass doors looked like they needed a thorough cleaning, the tile and grout were noticeably dirty, and the toilets were extremely low. Thankfully my knees are good, because getting that low was an experience all by itself! The restroom area could definitely use a deep cleaning and some updating. That being said, our overall dining experience was wonderful, and a BIG shout-out to Emily for making our visit so enjoyable. Great service can truly elevate an evening, and she certainly did that for us. We will definitely return--and yes, I'll be ordering that Key lime pie again!

I asked that the vegetables that came with it be subbed for a Caesar, which Vincent, our great server said was no problem, but after I got home, I saw that we were charged for the salad. Let me tell you - one of the best Caesar salad versions that I have EVER had! Fresh, crisp and the croutons HAD TO BE HOUSEMADE! They weren't crisp, like usual - they were slightly on the soft side and so darn yummy! My favorite co worker tried seafood risotto (for the first time). I told her how some places didn't make it right - it was often more like rice than risotto. THE REAL DEAL HERE! i could tell by sight and she loved it! Others had varied meals that they ALL LOVED! Since I love bargains and going online, the day prior, I found out that BRIO has a partnership with "inkind" and I signed up and got $30 off of our meal!!! Simple sign up and execution. You also earn points for future savings! What a memorable evening. I'm definitely going back and have already told my parents and friends about BRIO!

Party of 6. Early Afternoon. It was packed but not overwhelming if that makes sense. Can't say this…read morewas like my greatest place to eat. But it was solid. The Salmon Fresca at first bite I wasn't sure if I would like it but it turned out to be really good. Only bad part were the sweet potatoes were still kind of firm. That dropped this from a 9 to about a 7. Not the biggest portion so if you mix it with salad you'll be fine. Dessert. Ice cream or gelato not sure was the best ive ever had. The chocolate cake sponge tasted like it was made in an easy bake oven. Also tasted the Spinach dip. It was thick and didn't come with may chips but it was good. Also I had one of the teas. Maybe peach or mango. It was good. Some places just don't get it right. Overall I don't think I'd pick this place but if I ended up here I wouldn't be upset.

Farewell Brio. Looks like my last meal there was my last, as they abruptly closed yesterday…read more(7/28/26), joining the former Marlton location. I didn't dine in, but when I have I have always appreciated the service at a table, and even at the bar. I had a takeout order of lobster bisque, Gorgonzola lamb chops, and ravioli di bello. Everything was delicious! Perfect temps, seasoned well without being salty, and decent portions. I will miss you Brio

My fiance and I decided to visit this restaurant for the first time…read more Our waiter took 20 minutes before coming to our table to even ask us about what we'd like to drink. I saw him on his phone in the corner for most of the time, only realizing he was our waiter until he walked up. He then took another 15 minutes to bring us our drinks. Then along with our drinks he brought us "bread and butter". The bread was frozen and the butter was frozen. Inedible. Then we specifically asked for one order of the bruschetta so we could split it. He came back with two orders of the bruschetta instead. Then, when we were already done eating our bruschetta, he finally came to our table with small plates. Which were supposed to be for...the bruschetta. We asked for lemons for our water, never got any. The table was dirty when we sat down and the chairs had crumbs on them from the last people who ate at our table. This is the only restaurant that my fiance and I in our entire lives have asked for a manager and actually got up and left before we actually ate a meal. The manager was nice and comped our appetizer (which was nice of them since I offered to pay for the appetizer). My fiance and I will never return, and hopefully you save yourself the pain by avoiding this place altogether.
