Juan did Exterior wash/wax on my Tesla. Car looks great. Juan comes to my home on schedule. His van has all tools, generator, compressor, tank of clean water so no water spots, soap sprayer. Water beads up on the ceramic type wax that should last months. Water is blown off so very little opportunity for scratches from even the best drying towels. Even tires, wheel wells, door jams were washed. My car had not been washed for months , so Juan worked about 3 hours to get her sparkling clean. A day after Juan detailed my car I realized that he did NOT remove the stains in my car that he said he would. The was the only reason I wanted an interior detail in the first place. I called him to make an appointment to redo what he "missed," yet still a month later he never did it and gave me excuse after excuse cancelling the day of. Juan was not mindful of my time, lies, and is unprofessional. At first I thought that he just had bad luck, but when half his family was sick each time before we met I knew that this was not an unfortunate coincidence. I went back on Yelp and read carefully all of his one star reviews. It quickly reaffirmed my experience and views that he IS indeed flakey! See for yourself. I am not offended that he thought I would believe his lies because he must have some serious issues. I have added included receipts of this "Brilliant" Autospa Detail showing his phone number 650-784-5068 so they are valid. In summary, here is the general spirit of his excuses: 1.) Family emergencies each week 2.) His van broke and sent a video of his car not starting. Then he did not reply to my texts. I said I understood and will wait until his van is fixed. He rescheduled once he said his van was fixed, then he later followed-up with actually... it is not ready per the mechanic. 3.) He will reschedule appointments with you at 7am, ummm. why? Thats not even business hours, and it seems thought out so YOU will be the one to cancel and say no. How many people want a 7am appointment for a mobile car wash? The point whole idea of mobile car wash to me is for convenience not inconvenience, and 7am is by far not that for me. Good riddance! read more

I didn't think the car could be cleaned fully honestly, but he and his son (?) took incredible care of my beloved car and made her look absolutely like new. I haven't used that many detailing services, but Juan definitely takes the cake. If and when I need a car detailed, I would go back to Juan. I requested only exterior details, e.g., washing, clay bar, polish and wax. I am very satisfied with Juan's work. However, I felt kind of bad because of the day we scheduled it. When writing this, the Bay Area was getting hit with a heat wave, and Juan was working under the blazing sun. He took it like a champ tho, so kudos to the guy. The work itself was great. Compared to the other folks I've used on Yelp for detailing, Juan is absolutely A1. It was nice and professional that Juan could provide on his own what others would need. He even showed me a video recording he did when he sprayed the car down with water on how protection works e.g. water should be gliding off, similar to ceramic coatings. I hadn't mentioned that I have a dog, so he didn't expect all the dog hair cleanup but he didn't complain or charge extra even though it took much longer to do a thorough cleaning job. Please look at my before and after pictures of PROOF in the pudding because Juan did wonders for my car! Totally embarrassed but yolo, It feels like I just bought it and I'm so grateful. If you have kids whom you (use to) let eat in your car, they've left stains, spilled milk, crumbs, scratches, and everything in between-- Juan is the person to go to. I had chocolate and milk stains in my car that's been there for a good 3-4 months and I'm amazed at how he removed every surface stain and steamed through all the smell. Because chocolate and milk are not easy to remove on your own with just water and a rag, TRUST. Ever since I moved to San Mateo, I've had trouble finding a great place to wash my car. I just don't trust the gas station drive-throughs and also don't want to go to some random cheap place that re-uses old towels & will create swirls in your paint. I've been trying to make the self-service stations work, but it's just not the same as when I used to have a driveway to wash my own car in.
