Cute used bookstore! A huge selection of comics. Great prices. I've found some really good reads from here. Also very friendly staff.

I came here one day because I had always been curious about it. Plus, one of the reviews said they…read morehad pretty good subs, and I'm always down for a good sub sandwich. Well, let's just say, when I walked in, I couldn't wait to walk out. But I didn't want to be rude, so I played it off as if I was "looking for something". It's an older party/liquor store. With cheap wine, beer, liquor and DVDs. Yup, they rent/sell DVDs. What kind you ask?? Not certain because I had my twins with me and I didn't want to talk into a section that well....you know....um , that 18+ section. I turned to walk back to the front of the store and to the exit and noted the usual, pop, chips, juice, energy drinks...etc. Yes, they did have subs and in a few different sizes. They also had a small deli cooler with lunch meat for purchase. But I'll be honest, nothing looked appetizing. In fact, the store was rather dirty and very unkept. There's no way I would ever purchase anything to eat from here. The employee asked if I needed help as I started out empty handed. I told her they didn't have the beer I was looking for. One and done.

This is just a small neighborhood party store, but they have the best subs around (I say even…read morebetter than Bommarito's in SCS!). They also have a nice selection of beer, wine and other beverages with a small section for snacks and candy and they are a full deli as well. If you like sandwiches, you owe it to yourself to try one. My sister lives in Arizona and every time we visit her, we bring as many subs as we can fit in our luggage for her!

I grew up coming to this Barnes & Noble, and I'm genuinely so glad this specific location is still…read morearound. I used to come here with my grandma, so walking in still carries a lot of good memories for me. I wish I could have brought her more often before she passed, but in the later years of her life, reading became harder for her because of Alzheimer's. She still loved her knitting books and liked having books around, even if sometimes I think she was mostly pretending to read them. Honestly, that still feels very her. There is something comforting about a real bookstore. The smell of books, the displays, the quiet browsing, the accidental "I came in for one thing and now I live here" energy. The ability to ask an associate for their recommendations and their help in finding something you never expected you might fall in love with This location has always had that classic Barnes & Noble feeling, and I appreciate that it has stayed part of the community while so many bookstores have disappeared. That said, books have gotten expensive, and I have fully become a sellout with Audible and used-book shopping. I'm actually getting ready to downsize my own book collection because some of them deserve a better life with someone who will actually read them again. It would be amazing if Barnes & Noble had a simple used-book trade-in or resale option here. Maybe they do and I'm just not in on the secret, but either way, I'm still grateful this location exists.

They have a Starbucks Cafe and the cheesecake comes from the Cheesecake Factory. There was plenty to choose from to snack on besides the cheesecake. The servers at the cafe were professional and very friendly. Mom had a wheelchair so we appreciated the ramp to get to the seating area for the cafe. The store is well stocked and very clean. The children's area is large and very inviting for the young ones. Next to the children's area is a large display of toys, many of the toys are educational and interactive. They have magazines, toys, journals, cards, books of all types of genres.

Review #546 - Updated from past 6/24/2017 Review....4 Stars to 5…read more April 30, 2026 - Thursday I recently shopped here after striking out at a nearby other home store - At Home. I was happy to purchase a beautiful Yellow Forsythia Artificial Wreath for My Front Double Doors and 2 sets of colored Tulips for an artificial floral arrangement at this Ollie's Bargain Outlet. I also purchased Serta Soft Cool and Warm material Bed sheets throughout my browsing and price checking with comparison. Yes, this location maybe disorganized at times or messy areas of towels or other sale items but shoppers can be the reason because every time I shop here for a sale item or check on an ad item, the staff here are working the best they can and hard at times unpacking boxes to stocking shelves. I've been greeted with a Hello at times which is courtesy of them in between their busy work schedule. If busy at check out and a long line begins, another pleasant employee will open up another register. Seasonal merchandise is always plenty especially My last visit in February the store was ready stocked with Easter and Spring items which I posted photos of from the main center areas. Sign up to collect rewards for your purchases and of course Emails will be sent with their weekly Sale Flyer ! www Ollie's us Download their App for quick reference too! "Get & Buy Good Stuff Cheap" from 25% up to 70% off manufacturer prices Cookware, Bedding, Bath, Lawn & Garden & POOL Supplies and Summer Toys are Now Sold Here! Music is still be played to help your steps in shopping as years ago. I enjoy the Herr's Snacks, Moose Munch Popcorn, plus a certain Cereal Brand - SpecialK, Coffee K-Cups and Other Grab and Go items but Watch The Expiration Dates. I've never had a problem but just in case grab an item from the back or if up front check the date. The "Library" area lol is still great for Readers with Shelves of Books labeled with different signs for the different readers. Currently their Summer Ad is out with Window Air Conditioners, and Portable on Wheels too to get ready for the Heat of Michigan. Those would be good for College dorms or residents without A/C. I also noticed in their New Flyer for the month of May, they are selling a brand of different tools called Hart. How about a front or patio door Coir Mat? Its now at Ollie's in the Outdoor Patio Section. Plus, their pricing is very fair, which is a huge bonus compared to other places. If you're a Funko Pop collector or even just starting out, MiPops is the place to go. You won't be disappointed!

The store's selection was wide for high and low end Pops, with deals, old and new pops, big and small etc... Finally the value seems to be mostly very good. Also, they have a WhatNot, which is amazing for us locals. Overall I will be returning to MiPops frequently. Oh Funky Town Toys. I've been a patron of this awesome store for a few years now. I first went into…read moretheir location on Hayes and Hall Rd. (they have moved since then) to snag some free comic books on Free Comic Book Day. I've been coming back ever since! My son loves to collect Star Wars action figures. I am also a child, so I love to browse and buy the occasional trinket or toy. The old location was a little small and tucked away in a relatively crowded strip mall on the bustling intersection of Hall Rd and Hayes. The drive there was frustrating enough to limit my appearances there. They have since moved to a new location...terrifyingly close by. Now it's super convenient to visit the new store. The strip mall they moved to is much less busy and the location is way easier to spot from Van Dyke. The interior of the store is jam packed with lots of collectibles. They have a variety of wrestling, GI Joe, Star Wars and Funko Pops to name a few things. There's so much more there too (like superhero themed comic books). With as much stuff as Funky Town Toys has, the inside of the store is quite clean and spacious. It's always a pleasure to walk around and look at all of the potential money I can spend on stuff! If you're into old and new action figures and collectibles, you should take a stroll into Funky Town Toys. There's lots to choose from...and if you're looking for something in particular...just ask and they will talk with you...and maybe they can find something for you. Seriously...I love this place. They always have a huge selection and the staff are incredibly nice. They also know a ton about collectibles. There's a parking lot right out in front of the store, but if it's full, there's a small public parking lot right around the corner! I did the ground work for you...now you have no other excuses. Go check them out. Thanks! Brian S.
