I was misdiagnosed twice for what turned out to be a garden variety fungal infection. It seems when they don't know what they are looking at they fall back on doing a core biopsy. When I requested to see a real doctor I was informed that she wasn't taking new patients, so it was the incompetent PAs or nothing. I spoke to the office manager who tried to convince me that the PA who treated me has been with the practice for 5 years so just as good as seeing the Dr. Seeing I was getting nowhere with this practice I went to another local practice who had no problem scheduling me with a real Dr. who immediately and accurately diagnosed my issue.

Was very confused because I was literally asking them to open the door for me, standing AT THEIR OFFICE. They let me in, but it felt like they didn't want me there. When I got there I waited like 3 minutes (I think I was the only customer) for the doc to see me. My consultation was on laser hair removal but dr.anu quickly let me know I was not a good candidate (apparently you have to be super hairy with thick dark hair). It was literally a 5 minute interaction and then I left. On one hand I nearly felt it a waste to have come to the office, but on the other, I appreciated that she was honest and didn't try to sell me on anything. I'd say based on the consultation alone, I didn't really find this place comforting or friendly at all. However, it might have just been because of the pandemic? They offer a lot of spa services and definitely were the most responsive out of the multiple med spas I called. Their prices seem fair and they also had the best reviews, so I'd still recommend giving this place a try.

However, I was not made aware during the time of booking that the cost of Botox injectables is not necessarily based off cost/unit. In my previous Botox injections, a simple lip flip & nasolabial injection for a gummy smile costs an average of 150-200. Average units for me is anywhere from 8-12. Upon checking out at the Garden, I was informed that my $100 deposit would be subtracted from the total cost. I was then informed at the time of checking out my total cost for services would total $325 for a lip flip!! And that was after my deposit was subtracted. I was informed that VIP members have different perks, and that I would have to pay the price for the specific area. I'm very upset that I was 1) not informed of the cost before booking and 2) obligated to pay almost double for a procedure that should have been significantly less. I loved the staff at the location and my injector however, I feel as though I have been scammed for the services. I'm very disappointed in the pricing and lack of communication and cost before booking. I cannot afford to pay for services for something so simple, and will unfortunately not be able to return.
