This is the northern-most marina on the Peninsula before San Francisco and the harbormaster and staff are FANTASTIC. We had a 44' sailboat here for Thanksgiving week and also stayed one night on the boat. Harbormaster, Andrew was always on site to say hello and was very responsive by email for reservations. Mollie and Chris were professional and helpful too. The marina has 7-11 feet of depth at zero tide, but the channel just outside the marina bottoms out at 5.5 feet at zero tide. We would definitely stay here again because it's possible to sail to Angel Island and the Golden Gate for a day trip. Why the 1-star deficit despite our overwhelmingly positive experience? Compared to other marinas in the SF Bay, there are a fair number of liveaboards in Brisbane and the vessels and owners are varied; my neighbors were very kind, but the water quality overall was visibly impacted. The docks are safe, but not in tip-top form like at marinas that can afford staff to scrub them every time a seagull makes a visit. Many dockboxes had lights that were not working so walking the docks at night needs extra attention. There was plenty of parking for guests. Thanks again.

What better way to wake up than to a beautiful view of the San Francisco Bay! This marina offers an amazing look at the sunrise and sunset. Plenty of running space along the public trail and a small exercise area equipped with a pull up bar, bench and blocks. There are public restrooms as well as an extended area with benches for resting at the waterfront. Simply amazing.

Need some fresh air? The marina is a nice place to take a peaceful walk. There are wide clean paved pathways with an occasional exercise station. There were people of all ages enjoying their time here. The marina has room for almost 600 boats. They can accommodate boats up to 120 Feet Long. There are some impressive looking yachts docked. This is the closest marina to San Francisco. There is a 300 Foot Public Fishing Pier. Today I came upon a few guys fishing from the shoreline. One of the guys received a nice bite on his Fishing Rod. He ran over to it and had a couple minute battle with a Stingray. You can see the San Francisco Skyline from the Northern part of the Marina. You may see people on Jet Skis as well. The San Francisco Bay Trail runs on the North Side of the marina.

I believe this is one of the cheaper harbors to keep your boat in the bay and they have free popcorn in the main office!

I enjoyed that it's minutes away from the none stop speed racers on 101 (and everyday life stresses) It truly was unexpected and viewing the waters was very relaxing. Hard to explain on screen, but it was natures relaxer for me. Grabbing a bite to eat near by Or pack a brown bag or a picnic basket are in my horirons, plus bring a sketch pad and just doodle away. The bathrooms were nearby and they weren't too bad! The amount of new buildings in this area is fantastic to see. There are many tech companies and of course Genentech. After driving past all of this, you'll enter the marina area. Many people launch their crafts from here. Others like to fish or hike. Everything changes when you reach the marina. It's peaceful, calm and beautiful. It can get windy so be prepared. Side note--the road leading to the water is in desperate need of repair. I have never seen such big dips in a road like these. My views are from the Sonesta hotels side and it was a peaceful walk all around. It gets very windy throughout the day and there's not too much to see or have any actions on the water, but sailboats are here. You can walk past train tracks and onto a small bridge while looking across towards the Oyster Cove Marina by the boats. There were some joggers and bikers, but most people walking around do stay nearby or overnight. I like the gorgeous calm views under the sunlight. We don't always see tall buildings, but they do have quite a few to look at from the area. Again, this is a great stop for anyone staying at nearby hotels or working in those tall buildings. Oyster Cove is on the smaller end, which makes it that much better and feels more like a community of boaters instead of "just a parking spot for a boat". The folks are all friendly, helpful and welcoming whether you're at your boat many days a week or maybe once a month (like me, as of late). The grounds are always beautifully manicured, the facilities are hard to beat (super clean bathrooms and showers, inexpensive laundry, etc) and Tim, the harbormaster, is an absolute gem to have oversee the whole operation. When I have needed mechanics or service at my boat, he is accommodating, friendly and happy to help. Seeing him in passing he is always warm and just an overall nice guy to talk to. Rates are more than reasonable (given the area) and electricity is metered and ample parking. Only downside is if you're looking to liveaboard, the wait list is quite long seeing as its a smaller marina and only 10% can be legal. Aside from that, the past two years I have been docked there have more than exceeded my expectations; They have truly set the bar high. 5 glowing red stars for Tim and the Oyster Cove community.

After I was left with a botched unfinished job by the mechanic from the boatyard I was having some major work done in, Franco Marine came in, took the mess that was left, and made everything work just as it should. No one wanted this mess, but Franco Marine didn't even hesitate. He was also booked out more than a month, and told me he'd figure out a way to squeeze me in. Less than a week later on a Sunday, he came out and met me at the boat, did what he could for about 4 hours, got a list of parts and part numbers to complete the job, and came back a week later with the parts he ordered, and got my boat back in action. I'm very happy with how knowledgeable, and prepared with the right specialty tools, to get the job done, and how determined he was to get everything done right! When I say that the wiring on my boat was a mess, that's a major understatement. Previous Mechanic said I needed a new wiring harness, after calling me every week to tell me they needed to replace another 5 wires, and it was going to be another $1,000.... yah that crap.... then ordered the wrong wiring harness, halfway installed it, couldn't figure out how to finish the install, most of what was done, was done wrong, and the other half was just a mess of wires not connected to anything. Being that it was the wrong harness, there was about 10 extra wires with no place to go, and other necessary wires, missing from the harness altogether. He patiently studied the situation, did some research, traced every wire from beginning to end, figured everything out, and things that hadn't worked since I bought the boat, are now working as designed, and my engine is running great! I can't thank him enough for his help! If I could give him 10 stars I would, he certainly deserves it!
