Tried the gluten free pizza option at Bristol pizza and I was pleasantly surprised on how great the crust was. The pizza was firm enough to hold without everything sliding off the top and it had a nice crisp to the crust. The pricing was reasonable for the gluten free option at $2 more per pie. I got a small and paid $13 for it with the toppings and thought the portions were well balanced. A great option for GF with some competitors in the area being $20+ The service in here was excellent. The girls working were quick, attentive, friendly, and authentic. Everyone working was very nice and they had the place running very smoothly for a packed booth night. Although the place itself is small the restaurant itself was big on vibes, very welcoming, warm, a very home town feel. Overall I'd come back here for the pizza. It's nice to have a place in town who does a great gluten free crust in different size options. S, M, and L. The flavor of the cheeses and toppings tasted fresh and blended well together. Will Never Visit Again.... The Cost Isn't What's Advertised & The Staff Is Rude Customer Service: On 06/06 I called in an order for a chicken fiesta pizza. The price advertised on their website for the size I ordered was $9.95. When I asked what the price was over the phone, even though I was looking directly at the menu online in front of me, I was told $11.25 before taxes which is +7.35% here in CT equaling $12.10, +$1.42. While that is not a huge difference, when I asked about the difference, I was blatantly lied to saying: "we don't have a website or online menu so that's not true". When I showed the print out from their website and the price list....from their website, I was offered an updated copy of their menu. Timely Deliverance of Food: I ordered via phone and was given a time limit. I arrived within the time range given & the food was ready. Good for them I guess..... Food: I ordered a Chicken Fiesta Pizza, which included: chicken breasts, roasted peppers, hot peppers, ricotta, basil, garlic & mozzarella. It should've read: croutons (that's what the chicken was. I thought it would've been grilled chicken, instead, its dehydrated bread disguised as "chicken") and other uncooked ingredients. The Pizza was raw and falling apart. Overall Review: Do not waste your money!!!!!!! Do Not Go There!!!!.... Especially if you like any type of flavor and do not want to be lied to. First time ordering from Bristol Pizza -- my wife wanted a chicken parm dinner, I went with a small sausage & mushroom pizza. Picked it all up half an hour later (I live less than a mile away). Wife wasn't happy as soon as she looked at her chicken parm. The reason, a pile of mushrooms (and she HATES mushrooms). Turns out there are more mushrooms (along with some type of hot pickled vegetable combo) between the cheese and the chicken. Looked awful, my wife ended up throwing all of the topping of her chicken parm dinner in the trash. I'm not even sure you could call that a chicken parm dinner ? Don't think it was a mistake, both of us have never seen a chicken parm meal with vegetables on it. Very strange. The chicken itself was good, along with the pasta that came with it. My pizza was OK -- a very dry bland crust, couldn't taste the sauce, but a good amount of cheese, and the toppings were tasty. A weak 3 Star rating for Bristol Pizza. read more

Update 7/2019- My daughters and I were out for a girls day and we're craving pizza. We decided to give this place another shot and I'm glad we did. We only ordered a pizza but it was really good. Will definitely be back for more. We came here with family. There were 7 of us. We got right in, were seated in the back In a good sized booth and the waitress, Jenna took our drink orders promptly. I ordered the Eggplant Parm, it came with soup-I picked French onion and bread. The bread was rolls-really crispy, left in the oven too long rolls. Not one to snub carbs, I loaded it up with butter and ate a piece anyway. The soup was decent, had a good flavor to it, and my eggplant parm was so, so. It had the flavor, but the eggplant was still a little raw inside so that kind of killed it for me. My husband and daughter ordered pizza. I'm not a thick crust fan (gasp) and I have this personal hatred towards square cut pizza-so there's my opinion on the pizza. They ate almost all of a medium though, so guess it was good. My other daughter had spaghetti and meatballs, she ate the whole meatball, which is her eating a lot. So she seemed to enjoy hers as well. Overall I was underwhelmed. Been there several times. The food is great and the people are very welcoming. After six or seven different dishes it is difficult to determine which is the best. The most interesting aspect to Bristol Pizza is the family that owns the restaurant. They are direct from Poland. What is interesting is that they have a great mix of both Italian and Polish dishes and both sides of the menu are equally great. read more

The service here is very slow. The two times I've been here they only had one waitress on duty for a packed house. Given, the place is tiny, but when it's dinner time it gets busy. She took our drink orders and I waited 15 minutes before I asked AGAIN for the waters. Then after she brought them, she seemed mad like I was the rude one? The Pizza itself is very good. I ordered a small chicken, broccoli, feta, and onion pizza.... and a greek salad. I could not tell if the dough was made in house or if it was pre-made. The crust was good, but nothing special. However, the chicken was very moist and all of the other ingredients were very fresh (I hate when I get dry chicken). I was impressed. The salad was fresh as well and I did not see one speck of brown on any of the lettuce or peppers. I heard they have gluten free pizza here too. I will definitely come back to this place. Possibly the best pizza in all of Bristol (still looking though... I haven't tried them all yet!) It is thicker, Greek-style pizza, the kind they cut in squares. The garlic bread with cheese was quite yummy also. Service was excellent, quick and friendly. The atmosphere of the place was warm and welcoming, reminding me of how pizza places used to be in the 80's. And they have a bar, which was unexpected, but not intrusive - this is still definitely a family restaurant. read more

Our go-to grinder shop for nights we don't want to cook. I've only ever had grinders and an antipasto salad here, but it hits the spot. The bread for the grinders is the best. It always smells so good when we bring a hot grinder home. !THE OWNER WAS SO BITTER TO MY FAMILY! Today I went to Bristol Pizza, my family from Spain came over to visit and I decided to bring them to one of my favorite pizza restaurants. We got seated right away, only a family of 8 was sitting in the big booth, so we choose to sit in the corner next to the windows/main door. It was 14 of us and some of my family was coming late, then THE OWNER comes to us and tells us that one booth should have 4 people. We had four tables but the two tables we had was only for 2 people, we told her that only 2 people can fit in this booth, she said "oh no u can make it 4" when clearly there was only room for 2! She also told us "also it's Friday and my customers need room to sit" like if WE weren't customers, she was treating us unfairly. I felt so embarrassed that my family from Spain had to endure that, then 5 mins later the rest of the family came. Because we were so nice, we had 5 people sit on each seat to leave room for customers, but only one more family came after 2 hours. We were thinking to go but one of my nieces already ordered, we ate and the server was good, but when we were about to leave and the owner told us "have a great day!" I couldn't believe how unprofessional she was when she rolled her eyes at me, with her bitter tone I felt so disrespectful. Never coming to Bristol Pizza AGAIN! I love, love, love this restaurant! Their pizza is amazing, and service is good as well. I do highly suggest dining in rather than picking up. They do not deliver and I have noticed the wait for picking up can be a long. The restaurant itself is small, but nice and, perfect for a couple or a smaller family eating out. Parking can be a bit tricky depending on the time of day you go. If you go on a Friday or Saturday night be prepared to wait for a parking spot there isn't a lot of spots available. My wife and I went for dinner there the other night and it was horrible. The best part was the wedding soup but it was downhill after that. My wife ordered the broiled shrimp and scallops and i had the fried scallops. Her dish was swimming in some kind of yellow liquid while mine was squirting out cooking oil when I took a bite. The fried scallops were strictly grocery store freezer burnt quality. They were round balls of dark brown fried hard breading that extruded a tablespoon of oil each. The quality was disgusting as it was the nasty fishy taste that clung to your taste buds. The french fries looked like the kind that you got from the store in the white box with the wax paper wrapping on it. For $11.95, each it cost them less than $1.95 in food cost per plate. My wifes dinner had four small shrimp and pasty white fleshy things that they tried to pass of as scallops. We had ordered a soda each and I had to get up to find the waitress for a refill. When I got the bill, I was hit for four drinks of $1.85 each. Expensive ice cubes as this is what made up most of the drink.
