Not sure who's cooking at LJs now but Pizza and Wings were horrible. Pizza in center was almost raw. Margherita Pizza was so dark. Sauce sheer acid and covered in Jar Sprinkled Basil Wings hard, dry and definitely overcooked! Terrible meal and I had company for a Pizza dinner. Embarrassing! I have been a long time customer, but their employees that answer the phone are rude and have no customer service skills! I told them that their website doesn't work properly where you can add multiple items to a grinder or the like and they told me to place the online order and then call to fix it! When I called and said it was redundant to have customers place an order and then call to correct it the girl got snotty because I said it will be the last time I will order because the lack of customer service and she said "no it is your last" then proceeded to hang up on me and cancelled my order... Don't bother. The pizza crust was tough and chewy, and there were discrepancies from an online menu to what I was charged. When I pointed this out, I was told, with attitude, "oh yeah, people tell us that, but that's not us. you have to look on Facebook." Well, I did try facebook first, but the pictures they posted of the menu were hard to read. So expensive, food mediocre or less, and attitude from the staff. i won't be back. read more

They need to find someone else to answer their phone. I called there today to order take away and when the line picked up I didn't hear anything no hello no nothing. So I assumed it was a bad connection and called back. The woman literally screamed extremely loud HELLOOOO LJS pizza can you HOOOOLLLDDD I think as loud as she possibly could. Frozen chicken patty on our salad which was still cold. Ordered the ziti and it came in the tiniest container, like 3 cents worth of pasta covered in tasteless sauce. A steak and cheese was unseasoned. The only upside was a couple not-bad cheeseburger grinders. This place is dead to us. read more

The menu is good, a lot to choose from and all the key pizza place items you've come to expect. It is the Greek style 'za that is quite common in CT. Thankfully I ordered a large Greek salad too, and that was solid. today was going to be my third time ordering from here, I am new Bristol resident. First order was 10 piece wings suicide and spicy BBQ.. they were great second time I got the hot honey and DOA sauce also great.. today I call to order it for a 3rd time and they told me the last time I ordered I ordered pizza and wings and never showed up? This literally never happened with me and it's not something I would ever do. The manager didn't even let me explain or try and understand the confusion he just said his worker is 100% sure. I was looking forward to being a regular at this place due to my love for good wings but after this experience I am genuinely upset for being accused of something I never did and has never been in my character. Super disappointing. The two times I was there and the ONLY two times I ever ordered from there I talked to the guy inside and told them I just moved here and I really liked the wings. After getting pizza the other week, we were desperate for "Bristol" pizza. A Bristol Pizza, for those who aren't aware, is a circular shallow pan crust pizza sitting atop a vegetable shortening coated pizza pan, with a generally appealing sauce- no chunks of tomatoes or big fancy basil leaves here- we're talking dry spices and canned tomato puree. And don't mistaken this for bad- it's far from bad. LJ's has some of the best Bristol Style pizza in the city. Next, comes a generous helping of well-browing mozzarella cheese, so much that it's impossible to get a slice without forcing at foot long trail of cheese. And then there's the toppings- at LJ's this time, we got a half sausage, half pepperoni & green peppers. It came within the typical time frame for a small biz pizza shop, about 40-45 minutes. Upon receiving it, it was still super hot! I'm glad it was considering how close we live to the restaurant. The only thing I'd do different next time is perhaps ask for them to cook my pizza well done. While it was good, and cooked, it was a bit on the light side up top. All in all, LJ's has definitely redeemed themselves as a legitimate competitor in the Polish/Greek/Albanian Pizza dining sector, which is exactly what a "Bristol Pizza" is all about. read more

We've been to this place a couple of times now, and by been I mean we've gone in and picked up our order to take home, and we haven't been disappointed. Their buffalo chicken pizza is really good and I'm a big fan of square slices since not many places do it. They are very generous when we ask for bleu cheese and ranch since my husband and I have very different tastes when it comes to our buffalo chicken additions. In addition, we get their BLT pizza. It is exactly what it may sound like: bacon, lettuce, and tomato on a pizza. WHAT?! It is so yummy and the bacon is cooked perfectly. They will always ask if we want the Mayo on it as well and the answer is always yes. They do put a complete helping of shredded lettuce on top so if that's not your thing- ask for it light! We love the pizza here...BLT pizza is the best! I would highly recommend...also bacon/meatball. We usually get pizza here for birthday parties and get togethers and they are always a hit. I ordered through uber eats a large meatball grinder, a medium pepperoni pizza and two slices of cheesecake. Got the medium pepperoni pizza and the cheesecake but then wasn't given the meatball grinder but instead given a small cheese pizza and a large cheese pizza and was charged an additional $9+ for my total. Very disappointed. I'm on a budget and was splurging a little only to be charged $51 for a purchase that wasn't even accurate that I was overcharged for. After some bad experiences that included waiting over 2 hours for food and really rude girls who answer amongst a few issues, we started trying new places. Last few times ordering from LJ's have not been good. The pizza was not on point. Felt like it was under cooked. Service is always fine and delivery times can range depending on how busy they are. I decided to update this review based on my experience 2 nights ago. Was a small order. Large sausage & onion pizza. Order of cheese fries. Large roast beef sub with lettuce, tomato, mayo, cheese, salt & pepper. The pizza was fine. Standard LJ's Pizza. The cheese fries were decent. Nothing great or bad about them. Here is where the one star update comes in. he roast beef was rotten. Had been rotten for a couple days by my estimate. It tasted rotten. Looked rotten. And there was a slimy feel to it. $11.50 in the trash. Which brings me to another thing. Prices seem to have gone up. I wouldn't mind it so much if you continued to serve a quality product but what was delivered to me was unacceptable. It's the kind of thing that just SHOULD never happen. A mistake yes but a mistake that cost a customer. Never again will I order from LJ's. read more

When we called to get this remedied the manager Jim was very disrespectful and accused us of just not liking it and wanting something for free. Just had a pizza delivery from LJ's and this is the second time they screwed up in the past two months. I ordered a medium pie with Sausage, sweet peppers, and mushrooms. Cooked well done/crisp and pie cut, no squares. What gets delivered is normal cooked crust and square cut. While the delivery guy offered to get a new one made up that would have put dinner behind by another hour. I hate having to use a knife and fork while eating soggy limp pizza. This is not the first time this happened. So fool me once LJ's shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. Not gonna happen again. read more
