Both my wife and daughter got the chicken penne vodka which was really really good. My son loved, even if he was a bit scared of, the cupcake with the sparkler. Both Tulmeadow and Lacroix's made @cticecreamtour's Top 15 CT Creameries. My original reviews for both Tulmeadow and Lacroix's were both good btw. I just didn't initially connect with the flavors I tried in the way that I did with my other CT favorites. Since those initial reviews, everything I tried at each has been a banger. At Lacroix's, I've now had Banana ice cream, Peanut Butter Cup ice cream, Biscoff ice cream and a Sundae with coconut caramel ice cream and a S'mores flavor. The sundae with hot fudge, peanut butter sauce, whipped cream and maybe the best cherry I've ever had in a sundae (don't know what they did) was great, but it's harder to pick out the flavors of the ice cream with all the delicious toppings. The ice cream seemed very good though. The Peanut Butter Cup flavor was outstanding. Very rich with big gobs of cups. The banana flavor was amazingly realistic. And the Biscoff was very good too. While Lacroix's is very popular and there is always a steady flow of business, I like that I get access to the friendly owners there too. Lacroix's is 5 Stars and I'm updating my review.
