You can tell they love what they do. We've been using them for play groups and will definitely be giving them a shot for boarding and dog walking.

With new jobs that required us to commute into the city instead of work from home, it was such a relief to find them. From the moment we started working with Catherine and her team I felt that my dog was well taken care of. We use Beantown five times a week, and they've always been accommodating to our schedules (if we need two walks a day, for example). Additionally, I know that if I ever needed overnight care that they offer that service. What's even better? They LOVE our dog and it shows. They are so caring and loving to her and I trust them completely! The team at Beantown goes above and beyond to make sure she is cared for. One time when honey got a little scratch on her face they offered immediately to take her to the vet for us. Their service is impeccable. They are responsive, fairly priced, and so kind. I love following their Instagram handle to see daily photos and videos of my dog playing with others, too. I 10/10 recommend Beantown for your dog if you are in the Boston area! We love them!

The staff who was very friendly and helpful, asked many questions and had me fill out paperwork and were very conscientious about making sure I was a good match for a dog they clearly adored. They have a great fenced in pen for the doggies to run around in and having volunteered at the Quincy Animal Shelter for a while, I knew this was a great feature for any shelter. After checking references I was overjoyed to be given the thumbs up. Several staff members, who heard the cutie pie was going to his forever home, came to the shelter to say goodbye to him and to tell me how good a dog he was, they clearly care about these animals and wants nothing but the best for them!

I love animals and have adopted several older animals from the Animal Rescue League in Boston. Milton Animal League is one of the shelters that is closer to my home, so I headed down there today. I walked in the door, and asked if they were looking for volunteers, and the woman working there just looked at me and rudely asked "How old are you?" Now mind you, I don't look like anything like a teenager. I replied that i was 28 years old and only then the woman pulled out an application and told me to call before I come back and acted as though she were doing me a huge favor. I was with my husband and we are currently looking to adopt a rescue dog, so after the whole application fiasco, I asked if we could take a look at the available dogs. The woman pointed at a bulletin board with pictures of the available dogs. I asked her if I could go into the dog room to meet them. She replied, "I'd rather you not, they're all excited now." I left the Milton Animal League feeling patronized and brushed off. I feel badly for the animals there because I'm sure that they would have a better chance of being adopted if the staff at the shelter were more helpful and kind to people looking to adopt. If staff working in animal shelters like these were more attentive to people who came in to adopt and educated their patrons instead of instantly treating them all as though they are ignorant, less people would be buying from places supplied by puppy mills like pet stores and online breeders. If you want to adopt, I recommend adopting from a place where the staff sincerely care about finding their animals good home and treat potential adopters like they matter, such as the Animal Rescue League or Quincy Animal Shelter.

I brought my dog to them last week and they usually do a great job considering my dog has a ton of fur and most groomers can't get him brushed out. I asked if she could cut the little knots behind his ears. Several hours later he is ready, we pick him up and she shaved my f'n dog without even a phone call. She shaved so far down behind his ears that he looks horrible, she also shaved his entire belly without asking after we told her that you are not supposed to shave the breed that we have. The poor dog has razor burn on his privates. We would have paid for the time to comb him out!!! Oh, and I would try calling but the last four times we tried we, we got the answering machine and left messages, but no call back. We will never recommend or bring our dogs here again.

WE GAVE THEM A PICTURE. They shaved our little puppy every where except the head and half of the tail. WE gave instructions ....DO NOT TOUGH THE TAIL .. WE LIKE IT THE WAY IT IS. The only reason he has hair left on his head is becuse he would not allow them to get near his face. They shaved his belly so close, he has razor burns. He looks TERRIBLE. MY daughter cannot stop crying!!!!!!!!!!! I was told (after they shaved him) that the picture we gave them was of an adult dog not a puppy ( THIS IS A LIE) and that THEY decided to cut his beautiful hair all off because he did not have his adult coat as yet so they could not give him the cut in the picture. They are sorry that I do not like it. I tried to tell the owner CORRINE that the least they could have done before shaving my puppy was to call us and see if WE wanted him shaved - HER response "I SAID I WAS SORRY AND I AM NOT TALKING ABOUT THIS ANY MORE" then she hung up on me. THE SHAVING WAS FREE BUT that did not make my daughter or the rest of us feel any better.
