On Saturday 02/21/26 I went to this location on the corner of Clayton and Baxter to get my car washed. I purchased a membership because I have found that I am in there every week before work. I went around the corner to enter the wash, the attendant signaled me to move forward so I did. He kept motioning to move forward. When I got onto the belt as directed to by the attendant my car gave a subtle jerk and was pulled into the car in front of me. The entire time I was trying to stop, the attendant just stared at me saying stop. It took another employee coming out of the building pushing or turning off something that shut everything down to stop my car being pushed into the other vehicle. I rolled down my window and asked what the hell happened and they both immediately said I came into the wash to fast. At no time since coming around the corner to enter the wash was my foot even on the gas pedal and I followed everything the attendant said. I have been using the car wash for years and always nervous about bad stuff happening to my car so I always wait for them to tell me when to move or do anything. I called the number to the reply on my review 02/23/26 and they said they could not cancel my plan because they don't have access to that. They also said a district/area manager would contact me. My husband talked to the location manager (based off email address) I guess his name is Aamaud Rutherford instead of apologizing and giving our money back and cancelling our membership he blamed me again and told my husband that I was a liar. He or someone who works there called my phone multiple times and wouldn't answer, so I blocked the phone number. Then I get several emails, still no apology, blaming me and saying he wants to go over the video. We don't want to go over the video because I was there and I have dashcam video of me following the workers direction until I could no longer do so because the belt or something was dragging me. The only one who has ever listened to me or apologized was the number from my Google review reply. Luckily, neither my car or the other car were damaged. I am taking this as a sign do not use automated car washes, I recommend others do the same, especially this location. read more

I've been here a few times and I can honestly say that the customer service is top notch! Everyone that's helped me has been super friendly and positive which I can't find often. I've never really had an issue before. There was a visit where there was a section of mud that didn't come off and I think it was the owner who told me to pull in again to get a second run at no extra charge and I really appreciated that! The last visit I went here and there were pieces of debris that didn't quite come off. I had to use my nail to scratch it off and this was after I went through choosing one of the higher priced washes. I think the quality of customer service keeps me coming here and it's not that expensive as I've seen at other places. Plus free vacuum! read more

Watch out. Nobody attending the wash and my vehicle was hit by the car in back of me because my car was not moving down the conveyor track. The one employee at the facility said newer cars have auto park and you need to tun it off. Never heard of auto park causing wheels to lock up. The person who hit me said this is his second incident and I too had a similar close call with a Mercedes not moving. Beware! read more

Received a free wash for downloading the app. Nice place and nice people. My car is super clean. They have a regular dry and a hot dry. It's a different wash level for the hot dry but worth it. Nice area in back to vacuum for as long as you want. You can polish, vacuum, clean your windows back there. It's nice and I'll definitely be back! This, btw, is the Rock Hill location on Manchester. Subscriptions available if you like your car clean all of the time. If you have a bike rack on your car, you'll have to remove it. read more

Saturday was my first time at Brite WorX Car Washery. I haven't been getting out as much during the pandemic as I normally would but on Saturday my car was really filthy so I hit up this newer wash. You pull in and pay for your desired wash, then you go through the wash, and then you head over to use the free vacuums. There are garbage cans in case you need to throw things away and everything seemed clean and the vacuums had a lot of suction. The most inexpensive car wash is $7. I like this better than a gas station wash because hey, free vacuums. I will be back! read more

I had a monthly membership to Brite WorX. The first few times I went through the wash there were no issues. However, there was a malfunction with the tire/rim cleaner towards the end of the wash. My bumper clip was ripped out to the point of no return. I made a claim with Brite WorX. They reviewed the footage and were able to see on the cameras that my car entered in perfect condition and exited with damage to my bumper. However, I was informed by the Manager Amaud Rutherford, that "unfortunately my car fell out of the Brite WorX warranty because it was more than 5 years old." So I want to let it be known that they carry no responsibility for damage to car more than 5 years old even if it is their fault. Don't forget to read the fine print people. Since cancelling my membership with briteworx I have been to Tidal Wave Car Wash and Tommy's Express Car Wash both of which have ended up to be significantly better washes than what I got from briteworx. Everything happens for a reason, I am thankful I have now found a better wash elsewhere. Be better Amaud Rutherford and Briteworx! read more

Nice and friendly staff, or is he the owner? But he explained to me the services available for different prices. You can download the app and become a member for unlimited wash. Friendly staff, user friendly touch screens. If you buy a monthly pass it's a completely no touch service...just drive up to the pass lane, your license plate will be scanned and the gate opens. Soft cloth strips clean your car gently. Nice vacuums with plenty of spaces, strong vacuums with narrow heads to get in those crevices where you may or may not have dropped a fry or two. What a joke. This place is brand new, and super close to my house. I thought for Christmas I'd sign up for the Worx membership so my wife can get her car washed whenever she wanted. Unfortunately, you can't sign up online, you have to do it in person. I show up and there are only 3 parking spots available that aren't designated vacuum spots (not counting the 1 handicap spot) and they're on the opposite side of the building from the "lobby". I have to walk around the building in the incoming traffic lanes and when I get in, there's nobody manning the register. I can see the bathroom door open, so they're not in there. I call out several times and get no reply. No one apparently "Worx" here. I decided to go get a membership somewhere else and leave this review so they're aware of the lost business and maybe it will help someone else out who might be looking to do the same as I. read more

I tried this place when they initially opened with the free wash promotion. I wasn't pleased with results then. Today I tried them again without any better results. I bought the "premium" wash and was very disappointed. Back of my SUV was still very dirty, soap residue on several areas of car, tire cleaner was uneven (one tire looks like it was missed) and car was still wet....not just a few areas, I mean wet. I dried the entire car (including wheels) which helped with residual dirt issues, but should not be necessary with "premium" wash. There are much better options at less cost. Car never gets dry. I have the monthly car wash for the best wash. I literally have to hand dry my car every time. I'm talking the front, back, sides, the entire SUV is still wet. Totally unacceptable for an $18 carwash. Also, the back window is always covered in soap. read more

Usually have no problem with this place. But I have a truck and some other ones have things in it that I want washed it sounds weird but some stuff it's necessary. I've had 2 instances the first were some ratchet straps. On that one they were right probably should move them inside. But this last time I had some duck decoys. And I was told to move them I've been in that same wash no problem before. But apparently there was another manger or something there because Teresa and Bill said "it's just for this time" I guess trying to save face. Not that big of deal. I usually get my truck washed once a week but there are plenty of other washes near my house. read more
