I rate this lounge higher bc of the service. The staff keeps the lounge clean and it has the basic amenities a lounge should have. It isn't a premium lounge and that might be why the average of the reviews for this lounge is lower. Also there's ample outlets to charge your phone and devices. There's also decent amount of space to sit and relax. For me, I don't expect lounges to all have premium food and service. Having said that, I wouldn't spend lots of money to come in here.

This review is for my experience early this year. With JAL business class ticket comes with their own lounge or with an affiliate partner if not available. I recall my past British Airway flight to be pleasant so I opted to spend my hour layover here at British Airways Terraces Lounge. Boy, was this place a disappointment. If this service was not complimentary with my flight, then I would never recommend anyone to pay for entrance. The snacks and drinks are sparse. As vegan and/or someone with dietary restrictions, options are limited to fruit, plain crisps (chips, is the British coming back?), and drinks. The only redeeming factor is their live service bar, aka alcohol. I had some time until my departure so I went on line and requested a mimosa. At first she looked at me funny, perhaps she thought I was underage? (Asian genes) Then for some strange reason the lady served me a Bloody Mary! Which is absolutely not vegetarian, let alone vegan. I did not want to cause a scene or the long line to wait, so I just took the drink, grabbed an apple and bag of plain chips to a window seat. If I couldn't have the drink, I figured I'd get a lemonade or their special fruit infused water by the self-service bar. Nope, for some reason they contained honey or some sort of sugar... Plain water it was for me! It's okay, I will just have the fresh apple, that is wrapped in plastic like a gift? The exterior was waxy and the flesh tasted of nothing. It was not sweet nor satisfying. Luckily the bag of chips was the only thing edible. At least the front desk was friendly? Off to my flight I went and hope to never return to this lounge again.

The BA lounge at the S gates is open 4 hours before the morning and evening flights with BA. The crescent shaped lounge offers views over pine forests. There is free WiFi available, plug sockets though are only found by the window seats so if that is important to you, then get there early as these seats are taken quickly. There are a couple of other less convenient sockets if you do miss out! The staff are attentive from check in through to the lounge itself. The chairs are a bit tired and worn in places, but very comfortable. Food and drink is limited but what there is is of high quality, with a nice selection of local area speciality wines and cheeses.

Nice Lounge with perfect overview obout the apron-/airfield. Service staff is very friendly and welcoming you. Lounge can be a bit squeezed during peak hours. Nice sandwich selection an local cheese from Pikes Place Market. All spirits available and some IPA´s as well.

Flying business is not enough to access, I am told at the door. I am baffled. The " lady"at the door was quite stern.

The food however was surprisingly good? Esp the cauliflower bisque and the salad items that they kept fresh/refilled quite frequently. Staff was very friendly; honestly if I could give this place a 3.5 and the other location a 3.0, I absolutely would. The bathrooms were fine though only 3 stalls which became an issue when the lounge was this crowded; always a womens bathroom queue as you can imagine. All in all, a fine spot to hang out while you wait for your flight. Not the best or the worst lounge around.

If you're planning to visit the Centurion Lounge at Sea-Tac, my biggest piece of advice is to join…read morethe waitlist in the Amex app as soon as you clear security. In the app, tap the Membership tab at the bottom, select Airport Lounges, find the Seattle Sea-Tac Centurion Lounge, and then tap Join Waitlist. During my visit, the wait to get in was longer than expected (45 minutes) and using the waitlist can save you a considerable amount of time. After seeing the lounge in person, it was easy to understand why there is often a wait. The space is beautiful, but it's much smaller than I anticipated and can get very crowded during peak travel times. Another thing to know is that the lounge isn't the easiest place to find if it's your first visit. It's tucked away near Koi Sushi in the middle of the main concourse food court area, so keep an eye out for the signs as you make your way through the terminal. Once inside, I could see why so many travelers want access. The lounge is modern, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff were outstanding throughout my visit. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, professional, and genuinely welcoming. The vanilla latte was excellent and easily one of the better coffees I've had in an airport lounge. Service at the coffee bar and throughout the lounge was top-notch. The food was good, although the selection felt more limited than I expected. There was a soup station, salad options, appetizers, and several hot entrées. Everything I tried was fresh and flavorful. The green smoothies were fantastic, and the made-in-house ice cream was a standout and worth saving room for. I typically favor going to the Delta Sky Clubs when flying through Seattle, so it was nice to finally check out the Centurion Lounge. My husband specifically wanted to try it on this trip, and I'm glad we did because it was a worthwhile experience. Overall, I think the Centurion Lounge is definitely a great option if you have access. However, if you also have access to the two Delta Sky Clubs at Sea-Tac, I would personally choose those instead. The Sky Clubs offer a much more spacious experience, significantly more seating, and what feels like three times the number of food options. I've also never had to wait to get into a Sky Club in Seattle, whereas the wait for the Centurion Lounge was substantial. That said, I still enjoyed my visit. The lounge is attractive, the service is excellent, the coffee is great, and it's a comfortable place to relax before a flight. If lounge access comes with one of your cards, it's absolutely worth visiting. I'm just not sure I would pay $50 separately for access given the crowds and limited space. If you're looking for a comfortable place to recharge, grab a quality coffee, enjoy a meal, and escape the terminal for a bit, the Centurion Lounge delivers. Just set your expectations regarding the size and wait times. While my personal preference remains the Delta Sky Clubs, I can absolutely see why Centurion Lounge fans enjoy this space, especially for the service, coffee, and overall atmosphere.

This location is easy to find though fair warning, it does get crowded pretty darn quickly so there may be a wait or limit during busy hours. The food ran out almost immediately after it was filled because of how many people were present. I was there in the morning so it was 1 veg egg dish, 1 meat item, and an oatmeal. There was another section with some cereal, fruit, pastries/bagels, yogurt. All in all, good for a small bite before your trip. I didn't try the bar but service seemed swift and friendly. The bathrooms were fine though rather limited; the shower was out of service which was a bummer but sounds like it is limited to 1 person. Not sure about availability/cleanliness. Appreciated the private pod like chairs with little pull out tables. Is this the best lounge ever, no. But it certainly is not the worst.

Seattle is a special place, green, surrounded by mountains and nature, an excellent food scene, and a place I once called home. It's from that perspective that I have to say: Seattle deserves a better airport. The airport is overdue for a major remodel, something along the lines of Portland's recent transformation. Maybe it's time to call in Seattle's own Olson Kundig. For a city with such a strong culinary identity, the airport food scene is surprisingly disappointing: uninspired, and overpriced. Outside of Beecher's Handmade Cheese, which wasn't near my gates, Starbucks was ironically the best Seattle option available. Beyond the food, the airport feels stuck in another era, complete with aging outlets, uncomfortable seating and worn floors. Portland and Hong Kong, which we recently visited, offer a better blueprint by bringing the city's best dining and local brands into an airport experience. Airports should feel like an extension of the citiy they serve, and Seattle's falls short. On a positive note: the light rail to and from the airport is an unquestionable win. It is efficient, affordable, and modern. Now the airport and its food and retail offerings just need to catch up.
