Me relaxin' at their comfy loungers
    Stephanie T.

The Lounge is big & the food is great. Staff super friendly & helpful. They have a huge bar area. Plenty of seating to watch the airplanes and near the fireplace. Plenty of tables to work on your computer. Long couches to spread out and relaxing loungers to elevate your feet. The food was excellent. All healthy items. Something hot like a creamy pasta Alfredo and minestrone soup to something cold like their salad bar and ice cream bar. I love this airline and it's my go to airline in all my yolo solo travel and adventures. Until next time, see you some more on Yelp

Whoa, this lounge is huge! Check-in went fine with a day pass that I had written down the code for. You can use other people's passes and there is definitely a secondhand market for them, since people get passes from vouchers or their credit cards. There is a hot food buffet in the middle and a bar on one side. I was there for breakfast and they also had a coffee bar with a holiday special (the peppermint mocha). The breakfast offering was pretty standard; I'd compare it to a hotel breakfast. The cappuccino was decently strong, a good surprise. The bar does need to see the second person if you're getting two drinks. They had six local beers on tap while I was there and I enjoyed the Reuben Hazealicious IPA. Most seating have hidden outlets somewhere. I ended up at a high table near the bar and the outlets were under the table. The bathrooms were surprisingly small? At least the one near the entrance I went to. Overall, solid value for less than $20 if you're there for an hour or two, wouldn't go at ticket price.

Comfortable and spacious place to spend a few hours before a flight. We went on a Thursday at around two and almost every window seat was taken, but there was still more than enough seating with comparable views. The look of the lounge is modern and spacious which provides a nice contrast to the busy outside airport. Good complimentary drink selection - we had a local cider and local wine, both delicious. The buffet was Korean themed on the day we went - while it is not the best food I've ever had in my life it was perfectly edible. I did particularly enjoy the green beans, of all things. Lots of options for grab and go snacks, too, and they had a soda machine like Taco Time/the movies which I appreciated. The bathrooms were also clean and quiet and nice, which I appreciated for an airport.

Not a Seattlite, but have been to this lounge a few times before catching a longhaul flight to Asia, most recently the SEA-ICN route on Hawaiian Air's B787 Leihōkū Suites. Although this lounge can get crowded, we had no issues finding seating, and moving when even better seating opened up! The bathrooms are well maintained, the bar is well stocked, and the view for planespotting is great. I'm a fan of the dark wood interior as well, but I can see it being a bit drab on a cloudy day. The complimentary handcrafted espresso drink bar is lovely too, and I appreciate that all Alaska lounges offer this (I run on coffee, don't @ me bro) Pro-tip, if you have the Atmos Summit card, you get 2 (at least *wink wink*) of the card-exclusisive Summit Sunset cocktails, which is a Woodford Reserve bourbon cocktail. I don't drink, but my hubs does, so he really enjoyed them! Lots of people at the bar were asking about the drink, so it felt pretty cool to order them! I do find Alaska's lounge much less crowded than the Amex Centurion Lounge, although I would say there's more food options at the latter.

Very comfortable spot to work and hang out while waiting for your flight. Unfortunately the food isn't very good. Baked goods are not that fresh. Meal options are limited and bland (make your own pancake machine? Come on!). They do have a soda machine and espresso bar as well as free drinks (drunk people won't complain?). Relaxing areas to sit, work, and wait lift up the overall rating to 3 stars but not a great value for your money.

For Alaska Lounge standards, the North Satellite location is most deserving of its flagship status as an oasis in the chaos that is Sea-Tec airport. WIth its tall ceilings, modern decor, and nearly 16,000 sq ft of open layout space, it is indeed a comfortable retreat before boarding any flight. Seasoned lounge goers may balk at the lack of premium options, but trust this is still a good overall lounge that's worth a visit. There was a time when Priority Pass was accepted here, which only meant the lounge was as crowded as the rest of the airport during peak daytime hours. That has since subsided, resulting in a more relaxing time during the bustling mornings and the low key evening service. The communal tables and high-back chairs give a nice contemporary touch that actually resembles a lounge, along with cozy nooks near their central fireplace which is perfect for the views of the tarmac. The food offerings aren't particularly impressive for a flagship lounge, but it more substantial than the average snack tray and plentiful enough to enjoy different meals throughout the various breakfast, lunch, and dinner service. The hour between lunch and dinner (4:30-5:00pm) is my favorite time to dine, since the shift change makes for a nice selection of hot and cold foods. Their soups are my favorite, especially the creamy chicken barley and wild rice. I could bottle it up and take it home. Their bar is nice and large, with a nice variety of spirits, regional wines, and a dozen local beers on tap. It is the most social area of the entire space and the bartenders and local staff are usually the best part. Imbibe enough and one will find that the bathrooms are on the smaller side, but at least the non-alcoholic options (#1) are more abundant than anything else. Even when my flights are delayed, I find solace with plenty of snacking, a little drinking, and lots of indulgent sessions with their ultra-fast WiFi. It's not the world's most bougie lounge, but more than does the job for yours truly. ____________ (#1) Read: an excellent all-in-one soda / juice machine along with a full on coffee bar and some serious barista action.

We like this lounge - nice bar and good food. The staff is always smiling and friendly. It's always fun to watch the planes as we wait.

    Dirty seats
    Sandra D.

I am stunned at how filthy this lounge is. Dirty seats, grimy tables, and an overall lack of cleanliness make it hard to believe I paid $600 to sit in this kind of environment. What makes it even more frustrating is that the staff seem quick to approach and disrupt you over the smallest things, yet somehow haven't found the time to actually clean the place. I've been up since 3 a.m., and I was hoping for even a brief moment to close my eyes. Instead, in less than an hour, I was woken up twice by staff for pointless reasons. If they spent half as much time cleaning as they do hovering and harassing tired travelers, maybe the lounge wouldn't feel so neglected. Overall, this was a complete waste of money and one of the most disappointing lounge experiences I've ever had.

I had two but that would be tacky to take pics of both of them. Amy was a great bartender.

Food was better than you would get for a complimentary breakfast at a hotel. Amy our bartender was super and explained some of our benefits. Love the chill morning lounge vibes. Just what we needed for a few minutes after a crowded I5 and the security nonsense.

Alaska air lounge located above N gate has over 16,000 ft.² of space. This is their flagship location. Did you know that you'll feel like you are in heaven when visiting here? A boujee yelper back in the 808 wrote about this lounge. I had see and experience this on my own. So I decided to make a visit on one of my trips. They have self served foods, but a lot was out when I visited so I'm docking a star for that. Service at the bar was good. They are cashless. Bring cash to tip.

    Gary W.

When you take the train to the N concourse the Alaska Lounge is just take a left and up the escalator. This is a brand new lounge with espresso, bar, food, rest rooms and I think there's a shower too. We always use this lounge when we're travelling with Alaska Air as many flights leave this terminal.

A happy customer entering the Alaska Lounge.

Ask the Community - Alaska Lounge - North Satellite

Does the Alaska Lounge still do day passes? Also, how busy/full is it in the morning? We will be there at 9 AM PST on a Sunday, and I am curious as to what our chances of getting in are?

Staff was very friendly; honestly if I could give this place a 3.5 and the other location a 3.0, I absolutely would. The bathrooms were fine though only 3 stalls which became an issue when the lounge was this crowded; always a womens bathroom queue as you can imagine. If you're planning to visit the Centurion Lounge at Sea-Tac, my biggest piece of advice is to join…read morethe waitlist in the Amex app as soon as you clear security. In the app, tap the Membership tab at the bottom, select Airport Lounges, find the Seattle Sea-Tac Centurion Lounge, and then tap Join Waitlist. During my visit, the wait to get in was longer than expected (45 minutes) and using the waitlist can save you a considerable amount of time. After seeing the lounge in person, it was easy to understand why there is often a wait. The space is beautiful, but it's much smaller than I anticipated and can get very crowded during peak travel times. Another thing to know is that the lounge isn't the easiest place to find if it's your first visit. It's tucked away near Koi Sushi in the middle of the main concourse food court area, so keep an eye out for the signs as you make your way through the terminal. Once inside, I could see why so many travelers want access. The lounge is modern, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff were outstanding throughout my visit. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, professional, and genuinely welcoming. The vanilla latte was excellent and easily one of the better coffees I've had in an airport lounge. Service at the coffee bar and throughout the lounge was top-notch. The food was good, although the selection felt more limited than I expected. There was a soup station, salad options, appetizers, and several hot entrées. Everything I tried was fresh and flavorful. The green smoothies were fantastic, and the made-in-house ice cream was a standout and worth saving room for. I typically favor going to the Delta Sky Clubs when flying through Seattle, so it was nice to finally check out the Centurion Lounge. My husband specifically wanted to try it on this trip, and I'm glad we did because it was a worthwhile experience. Overall, I think the Centurion Lounge is definitely a great option if you have access. However, if you also have access to the two Delta Sky Clubs at Sea-Tac, I would personally choose those instead. The Sky Clubs offer a much more spacious experience, significantly more seating, and what feels like three times the number of food options. I've also never had to wait to get into a Sky Club in Seattle, whereas the wait for the Centurion Lounge was substantial. That said, I still enjoyed my visit. The lounge is attractive, the service is excellent, the coffee is great, and it's a comfortable place to relax before a flight. If lounge access comes with one of your cards, it's absolutely worth visiting. I'm just not sure I would pay $50 separately for access given the crowds and limited space. If you're looking for a comfortable place to recharge, grab a quality coffee, enjoy a meal, and escape the terminal for a bit, the Centurion Lounge delivers. Just set your expectations regarding the size and wait times. While my personal preference remains the Delta Sky Clubs, I can absolutely see why Centurion Lounge fans enjoy this space, especially for the service, coffee, and overall atmosphere.

Seattle is a special place, green, surrounded by mountains and nature, an excellent food scene, and a place I once called home. It's from that perspective that I have to say: Seattle deserves a better airport. The airport is overdue for a major remodel, something along the lines of Portland's recent transformation. Maybe it's time to call in Seattle's own Olson Kundig. For a city with such a strong culinary identity, the airport food scene is surprisingly disappointing: uninspired, and overpriced. Outside of Beecher's Handmade Cheese, which wasn't near my gates, Starbucks was ironically the best Seattle option available. Beyond the food, the airport feels stuck in another era, complete with aging outlets, uncomfortable seating and worn floors. Portland and Hong Kong, which we recently visited, offer a better blueprint by bringing the city's best dining and local brands into an airport experience. Airports should feel like an extension of the citiy they serve, and Seattle's falls short. On a positive note: the light rail to and from the airport is an unquestionable win. It is efficient, affordable, and modern. Now the airport and its food and retail offerings just need to catch up.
