Then it's time to load up my plate with fruit , meat or the Steel Oates with raisins and brown sugar. At lunch time it's a shift of goodies but I'm never at airport in the afternoon. Alaska Lounge - C Concourse (SEA) As a frequent traveler, I've seen my share of lounges, and this one at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport delivers. Easy to find, quick to get in, and plenty of seating without the usual airport scramble. The space is large with multiple seating areas, so you can pick your pace, quiet or social. Big windows bring in natural light and great ramp views, which makes a difference. I skipped the food this time, but the bar was a win with friendly bartenders and a solid cocktail. The lounge was ok. Nothing to be excited about or write home about. Funny their drink limit was one per person per visit to the bar. You can't grab one for your partner or travel buddy. They did have some cozy nesting seats, but it was annoying that small children were allowed in the quiet section. The buffet was stocked with two delicious soups and indian food. The bar has clamato so I had the bartender make me a Caesar. Indeed this was a true refuge from the chaos of S terminal before my long flight. It's two trains to S gates but that's fine. We had not previously reserved, nor used an airport lounge in the past. We had a 3 hour mid morning layover, and we have an Atmos Rewards Ascent card, there was no discount/reward affiliated at the time. The terminal areas were very busy when we arrived around 8am. The entrance to the C Lounge is close to the end of the terminal. Although our departure as in N concourse, at the N lounge is the flagship, we read that it can be the noisiest, and most crowded. The C lounge was within steps of the ramp/jetway on arrival, expedient refuge was our priority. The difference of calming atmosphere was immediately apparent at the entry and increased as we to ascended two short flights of stairs. We did not visit the bar, although based on the quality of the non-alcoholic beverages, the bar was well stocked, and served quality libations. The seating area included wide seat, conversational spaces, high back chairs, cozy personal space "cubby" pockets, and over a handful of reclined loungers with foot rests - the foot rests were occupied when we arrived, although we were able to enjoy them for the better part of our visit as there seemed to be a reasonably steady rotation of travelers. The beverage area included two full service coffee machines, with several options(cappuccino, espresso, latte, mocha, etc) as well as a significant varietal selection of teas. There was juice, and water as well. The was assorted breakfast sausage and a spinach jack omelette/scramble and waffle printer for warm cuisine, yogurts, cereal, and toast to compliment. The baked goods tasted fresh, and we went back for seconds for several items, especially the scones. At $65 each, it was money well spent for the calming atmosphere, comfortable clean lounge, and consistently replenished & quality food and beverage. 4 stars due to housekeeping improvements -- need to bus tables more frequently, and improve size & cleanliness of restrooms. read more

We had our flight leaving from the C gate this trip and visited the c lounge. It is a spacious lounge with lots of seating. There are some reclining chairs watching the planes land and take off that are my favorite. We enjoy the pancake machine, sous vide eggs, biscuits and gravy for breakfast. Good options with my latte. I've been flying a lot this past year, and have definitely put my Alaska Lounge pass to great use - including having the opportunity to use all three of their SeaTac lounges on several occasions. And the C-Concourse lounge is one of my faves! Recently renovated, this bright and spacious lounge sits above the main concourse, with views out over the tarmac and plenty of seating (and outlets). There's everything from cushy lounge chairs, to tables, to bar seating - basically, something for everyone. This lounge boasts all the typical Alaska Lounge faves: a full bar, espresso, light bites, and the consistently friendly service you really come to appreciate about the Alaska Lounge staff. On my most recent visit, I had my mom with me, and this was a great spot to relax and enjoy an early lunch before our flight. Bonus points for the attendant at the lounge check-in counter, who told my mom I'm a "VIP" which impressed my mom more than perhaps any other of my life's accomplishments ever has! :) read more

It's no N gate, but really great place to spend some time waiting for a flight. It's an expensive annual pass, but if you travel a few times a year I think it's worth it. No cost for food / drinks. Yes, the choices are limited. But the folks working there are always super nice, and it's such a calming place to hang out as opposed to being in the airport. Don't expect too much but if you just want to sit and charge your devices it's a great option. Should note this one is pretty small, so if time isn't an option N gate is much larger and more open. read more

Time to splurge -- this lounge is worth it X10. They have a pancake machine! Arriving early for a Seattle-Burbank Alaska Air flight, I peeped in the lounge and was sold. Though I don't fly Alaska enough to join their lounge club, daily entry is $50 and if you have a first class ticket, it's $30, and I think that may include a guest. Inside in the afternoon: open bar for cocktails and beer, juice and soft drink machine, two soups, sandwiches, cookies, bar snacks and that pancake machine! Given that you would easily spend that much at the airport restaurants and bars, step up your game into the lounge. Newly renovated, comfy seating, watch the planes and relax. So worth it. I try to fly in and out of lounge-less Burbank Airport, so this is truly a treat. Try it! read more

The service, seating, views, and overall amenities were excellent. Preparing for a very early and long flight brings about its own stressors. Glad I didn't have to pay for access into the Terminal C lounge. The edible offerings were majority factory-processed carbs and the pancake maker. The only proteins were hard-boiled eggs and "scrambled" egg patties - very disappointing. For being Seattle's flagship airline, the competition (Delta and Centurion) offer much better food options. Gayle and I connect through SEA (to and from Reno) fairly often and most often via Alaska Airlines. We're now retired and love to travel worldwide. We call them SKI trips - Spending Kid's Inheritance. We've also become quite fond of airport lounges, especially if we're doing an overseas trip via Business Class. More recently, our Priority Pass (via credit card membership) has increasingly become worthless, and Alaska has tightened up their entry requirements. That's why I went ahead and actually bought one of their lounge memberships. The Alaska Lounge at N Terminal is perhaps the SEA-TAC gold standard with lots of room, a great bar, and nice food selections. Unfortunately, we're not the only ones that love it here as its often crowded and thanks to what I call the "screaming toddler" factor, increasingly family friendly. Alaska's C Concourse Lounge is a little more out of the way, somewhat smaller, and peacefully quiet (so far). I think it was refurbished recently and I certainly enjoy just hanging out and looking out the window. The seating is also flexible enough for work or a nap. The food and drink selections remain generous and tasty. As with the N Lounge, Alaska staff were all friendly, welcoming, and helpful. read more

When I lived in Washington, I was a frequent visitor to the old Alaska Airlines Board Room at SeaTac. However, now that I live in Texas, I hadn't been here for over 10 years. The venue is now called simply the Alaska Lounge and it has been renovated since my last visit. Not much has changed since the last major renovation in the 2000s. It is still on two levels and offers a spacious room to relax or work, grab a snack or drink, and get away from the throngs filtering through the airport. I entered using my Admirals Club membership and I have to say that Alaska always has and still offers a superior lounge experience to American and United. Generally the food and beverage items are a bit better and the room remains immaculate with frequently rounds by the lounge staff to clear plates and other debris. Definitely above average and although still not at the level of a Centurion Club or similar offering, the Alaska Lounge stands ahead of the competition. Recommended. read more

I had to move my review as Yelp indicated I had reviewed the wrong Alaska Lounge. So, be sure you know which of the three locations within the Seattle airport you are at when you're checking in and also writing your review. The other two locations are in Concourse C (https://www.yelp.com/biz/alaska-lounge-c-concourse-seattle) and the lounge in the North Satellite (https://www.yelp.com/biz/alaska-lounge-north-satellite-seattle). The Concourse C location is on the mezzanine level next to Gate C-16. (I think this location has the waterfall feature) The North Satellite location is on the mezzanine level, above Gates N13-18. (I think this location has the fire pits and large open seating) This location in Concourse D is just beyond Security Checkpoint 4 on the left side of the bathrooms before you go up the ramp on the right. (This location has seating upstairs and downstairs. I just wanted to provide this info so other people don't get their reviews removed. Now onto my review... I haven't been able to use the Alaska Lounge until my most recent visit in December. I am able to use this lounge due to having an American Airlines credit card and it was a great way to introduce my sister to lounge life. The lounge is reasonably large and has two floors. The upstairs gives great views of the tarmac and planes moving around. The downstairs is a bit quieter and seems to be geared towards people who need to take care of business or just really want to relax before heading out. They have private rooms if you need to make telephone calls or have video calls. The bathrooms were clean and well-stocked. I used both of them. The soap did make my hands kind of dry though. As far as the selection of food for breakfast, I don't know if the norm is to have a few baked goods and a bit of fruit but there wasn't really a lot to choose from. I assume due to the pandemic, there are restrictions on items they can put on a breakfast buffet. There were no eggs, meats, or hot foods. There were yogurt, muffins, fruit, and croissants. I did like that they cut all the muffins and most of the bread in half to reduce waste as many can't eat a whole muffin sometimes. The same food selection was downstairs. They did have free alcohol as well. So I helped myself to a spicy Bloody Mary. There's a first time for everything. I know you're not supposed to eat a lot of spicy foods and drink alcohol before you fly but I was recovering from a major Christmas party and needed to take the edge off. Leave me be! They have a coffee machine and tea as well, so don't miss out on a hot beverage while you relax. All the staff were extremely pleasant though, especially the bartenders and the maintenance/cleaning people. So regardless of the lack of selection for breakfast, my sister & I were able to find enough to gently fill out stomachs before our 5-6 hour flight from SEA to DCA. read more

Lounge is quiet busy from high customer demand. Be aware - limited seating and you may need to stand. However, we were fortunate enough to show up as a couple were leaving and ended up with a table. Service: the two gals that serviced the bar area were great. Super friendly and made sure our table was clean prior to seating. Drinks were great as well (freshly made lattes, bloody Mary's, cocktails, etc.) We were there for breakfast and had bagels with cream cheese, fruit, oatmeal, soy latte, and Mimosas. I'm a huge fan of Alaska Airlines and I even used to be a lounge member. I had yet to visit this lounge and have wanted to for awhile now. In PDX I used my Alaskan Air credit card and bought a day pass to their lounges for $25. I figured being able to use two of the lounges made it a good deal. It actually wasn't a good deal because stupid COVID messed up my ability to do one of my favorite things... that's right... COVID protocol hindered me from getting wasted at the airport. Sadness! I had just been to the Centurion lounge where they stated that I had to take the food to go. So I was not expecting much. When I walked in I was greeted warmly and chit chatted about the protocols. They were also not serving booze, however they did allow the consumption of food and beverages inside. I took the elevator up and was happy to see a good sized lounge with a nice view. Tables and chairs were placed appropriately. I felt safe sitting around. On offer for food was some sort of creamy chicken soup and a chicken salad. I was surprised that they didn't have a vegetarian option, and if they did I couldn't find it. I think it was nice that at least they had a warm food offering. They did have cheese and crackers as well as veggies with ranch dip. So vegetarians weren't going to be totally out of luck. While I didn't get what I would call a full lounge experience, I did appreciate being able to sit in a spacious room with high ceilings and relax.
