Here's my review of the food we ordered: Cocktail of the hour - aka "Golden Hour" - 8.5/10 Reminded me of mulled cider, notes of honey, very refreshing Pork Belly Steam Buns - 8.1/10 Nice texture, very tender and flavorful Mini Banh Mi - 7/10 Not bad, would have preferred the more traditional pork filling Crispy Chicken- 8.7/10 This really surprised me, from appearance the chicken didn't look that special but it was well seasoned and the sweet chili glaze really stole the show and elevated this dish! Mirabelle Smash Burger - 8.9/10 I'm a sucker for smash burgers and this one did not disappoint. Nice crispy bun and a special mustard sauce that we enjoyed and a different flavor I don't usually have on my burger Sticky Ribs - 5/10 Unfortunately these were quite dry and was comparing to sticky ribs I had last week at CoV that were fall off the bone Overall good spot, service, atmosphere, and would be happy to return. Prices were also great for happy hour.

Very close to the lake(walking distance) There is a free parking ramp right behind the building. The decor of this place is cute! The details seem like they were well thought out! It feels upscale and cozy! I saw a video of this place and that was what originally drew me in! The seating here is also comfortable and not over crowded. Our server was ok. I saw so many raves about the "amazing service." She did refill our water glasses, which was good because I needed it with the salty steak! Obviously the most important piece is the food. We started with the popovers. The taste was fine but the texture was almost over done. The honey butter was lacking honey flavor. Cinnamon would have really elevated the butter! I got the steak frites and my sister got the spaghetti. My fries were average. The steak was cooked to a perfect medium all the way through! I was impressed. However, it was drowning in a VERY salty sauce! I had push a lot of it off. This should be served on the side, not covering the whole steak. My sister got the spaghetti, which our waitress explained was not a regular spaghetti. I feel she has probably had to do that multiple times and honestly, it should just be renamed. It's confusing for the customer. My sister did say she enjoyed the dish and that the shrimp was ere done well. For dessert I got "Aunties iced latte" which is their version of like an espresso martini. It was just ok. Would not get again. We got the carrot cake which was good!! But then they ruined it by putting fake whipped cream.... This is supposed to be a higher end restaurant and that made the dessert feel so cheap. We also got the creme brûlée. DO NOT ORDER THAT! It is an absolute waste of money! The sugar top was so thick we couldn't eat it! The dessert had the consistency of scrambled eggs, not a smooth custard. The taste seemed ok, but whoever made this does not know what they are doing! Overall, the food was not memorable and a lot of it was done poorly. There are definitely better restaurants in the area.

I had the grapefruit and loved its bright citrus to balance the wintery outdoors. Also, The cornetto French Toast is out of this world with the "bread" component being a butter croissant prepared just as a traditional French toast and topped with fresh berries and cream. (Just thinking about it is making me drool) Delicious and missing "something": the Sicilian baked omelette pie was savory with burst of freshness from the tomatoes but lacked in flavor. I found myself wanting a little more pecorino to give it the salt it was missing. Overall, service was kind and attentive without being overbearing. The vibe is tranquil with the lush velvet accents and warm design choices.

Our table wasn't ready for us so we sat at the bar and waited. It was interesting because I noticed a table open the whole time we waited at the bar and when it was finally time to seat us 15 minutes after our reservation time, they sat us at the table that had been open that whole time. After we were seated our server came over a few moments later and took our drink order, off to a great start - or so we thought. We proceeded to wait a while for a drinks to arrive and after 10-15 minutes we received them, although one of our drinks was incorrect. We placed our order to share and then waited again for a long time for our food. They brought complimentary bread, olive oil, and balsamic to the table for us to enjoy which was a nice touch, especially since we had to wait so long for our food. The two pasta dishes were yummy with the noodles being a very crisp al dente. The burrata was delicious with the perfect amount of salt and tomatoes. They could add a few more bread crisps to the dish for the price we're paying though. The pizza unfortunately was our least favorite. There was WAY too much semolina flour to the point of it being too granular and we only ate the toppings off the pizza and ditched the crust. We ended our meal by having to go to the bar and speak to whom I assume was the manager, though I didn't catch a name or title - to ask to order dessert and for our check because our server was again MIA. As soon as I did that and got back to our table, our waitress came back and apologized. She told us she was polishing glasses (insert confusion on our faces). We ordered dessert with her since she said it was lost in translation from the bar. We got our dessert and our check and called it a night. I'd like to give it another try maybe later this summer with the hopes for speedier and more attentive service.

If you want to come here even relatively close to peak hours, I would highly recommend a reservation. My personal favorites here include the Rotisserie Chicken Sandwich and the Minute Chicken. I've gotten both items multiple times and they are consistently great. Do yourself a favor and get the Dessert Flight; the portions are more than fair for the price and the Banana Cream Pie is to die for. We recently did brunch at Hazelwood for the first time. The Monkey Bread is a generous size with a crispy outside and gooey center - exactly how you would want it to be. The Smoked Gouda Hash browns are worth getting on the side with any item that doesn't already include them; they are so creamy and have a rich cheesy flavor with a nice crispy top layer. Unfortunately, I would not recommend the Avocado Toast. The bacon bits, lettuce, and poached egg completely overwhelm the avocado, which is virtually nonexistent. It's served on a very small and boring piece of wheat toast.

After a 40-minute drive, we were more than ready and the experience totally delivered. We started with the spinach artichoke dip, which our server Katherine highly recommended as her favorite. She was spot on--it was buttery, creamy, and so flavorful. If our food didn't come out so quickly, we would have been scraping every last bit. I had the Tennessee chicken sandwich with fries, and asked for the collard green slaw on the side. Honestly, I wish I had just put it right on the sandwich because after trying it with a bite, I really liked it. The Louisiana hit I did not find to be spicy, more so flavorful. Almost, kinda sweet. Others in our group ordered: The classic chicken sandwich with onion rings, The fried chicken with mac & cheese and cornbread, and a side of collard greens, which were seriously delicious--super well-seasoned and flavorful. Our service was excellent--Katherine chatted with us and made the whole experience even better. She was friendly, helpful, and just had a great vibe. She was blown away at how far we drove to come here. The menu is huge with tons to offer, and the drink menu has a wide variety, including non-alcoholic options, which I appreciate to see. All in all, a fantastic visit. Great food, great service, and a fun spot--we'll definitely be back SOON and you should go, too!
