My mother frequented this store often and I would accompany her in here to shop. She loved and still does love their merchandise. Fast forward years later. I found myself on the other end of the weight scale and in need of clothing for a more voluptuous figure. That's where Ashley Stewart came in for me. Offering me fashionable alternative to the straight size clothing. I like their selection of clothing and accessories. They use to have a more matronly look to their clothing but they have gained a more youthful flare. I love their accessories!!! They are bold, gaudy and on trend. The accessories are usually Buy One, Get One 50%. They have great sales when they do have a sale. But one thing that I can complain about is there online shop. I recently placed an order for 5 items, pants and tops. I got the package on time but on one of the pair of pants there were dark red stains all over them. I couldn't understand how someone who is packaging them could not see this. This infuriated me!!! Then on top of that they made me take pictures and send them to them, I guess they think I was lying or something. They sent me a return label for FedEx and I shipped them back to them. It took them a little while to respond and say they received them and that they gave me back a full refund. But a week or so later they did call me and make sure that the matter was settled. I appreciate them for taking the time out to check on me and make sure everything was resolved. Some businesses would leave you hanging and you would have to actually call them and inquire if everything was settled. Other than that problem I usually pleased with this store and its service.

By far my favorite thrift store in the Augusta area. They have everything here- clothes, shoes,…read morebooks, movies, appliances, furniture, toys, decorations, etc. Every time I come here they have something new. Most items appear to be in good condition and are very reasonably priced. I was able to get an entire bag of clothing for only $10. The store is run by a woman named Pat and several volunteers. All proceeds from sales here go towards running a homeless shelter for women and children. Whether you're thrifting to try and save money or reduce your environmental impact, I highly recommend checking this place out. They're also looking for volunteers, so if that's your thing this is a good place for it!

I truly appreciated the cashier pointing out the cracked/chipped glass on the inside of a vintage food storage container lid that made the purchase a "no go". Frankly, this second hand shop should have a consigner store policy of "no broken, chipped, cracked, torn, stained, no missing buttons, etc" on items allowed. This keeps the quality high, and the reputation of the store honorable. If the consigner is determined to try to sell a damaged item they should at least note "As Is" on the price tag to alert the customer, and that wasn't the case with the glass storage container. The numerous framed "Best of Consignment Shop" awards says this spot is loved by locals! In the woman clothing section... clothes were everywhere and very unorganized. The product section for facial products were scattered in the wrong places and not neat at all. Overall the store has fallen short and was not kept up like it should be. Staff at registers were running in full capacity, yet the attention on the floor was very poor and unkept . Will not be going back to Target again in Augusta.
