    Fried brussel sprouts

Met a friend for drinks. The Felino Malbec was delicious. We shared fried Brussel sprouts which were perfect. Server was attentive.

The After-doctored Pizza @home & peppered it per the description from Brix' menu to what I thought I was getting.

Nice scene...but Definitely could be better (go back to the post covid structure). Brix would make a pretty profit if they offered Brunch and be a select few offering brunch in the Vintage that would allow them to stand out. I would like to thank David, the bartender tonight who made me a 007 (Double 07: James Bond signature: dirty martini, shaken and not stirred ). Perfection! I also wanted to recognize his participatory Crew that chimed in on our conversation when they overheard me ask about a brilliantly erected wine out of Napa, ironically named Quintessa--Which is my middle name. Thank you, David, Ruben, Matt, and Logan; you all worked together to educate me, which was appreciated. However, I have feedback on the pizza. I bought one Pepperoni and one Fig and Pig Pizza. The crust on these pizzas was Amazing due to the crispness of the crust. The lack of a finale with a stoke of butter, a hit of EVOO, and Fresh garlic was disappointing and barely there sauce with lack of proportional pepperoni piecs per slice...come on. In other words, the crust needed flavor, too, especially because your crust is a genuine brick oven-slayed pizza crust, so don't go Domino's on us. Season that thing! I need you all to stick to the description of your pizza on the menu and don't be stingy. I had to ask the lady to get the kitchen to add more arugula. She brought my pizza back to me, looking the same way; it barely had arugula and dressing. I don't want to pay $15 for a good specialty pizza and then have to go home and Doctor it up to make it a great pizza in line with your description of what I was buying on Your menu. Lastly, the side of pizza sauce tasted like Bertolli Vodka Pasta Sauce but I'm not mad because I like Bertolli Vodka Pasta Sauce but it's not a side of pizza marinara. Other than that, I still recommend Brix to loosen you and your party up with wine, spirits, bites and a pretentious atmosphere with a really down to earth staff with reasonable prices.

Finally tried BRIX last night, after looking it up several times. Have to say I was impressed from the moment I stepped onto the patio and was promptly greeted by a very friendly server. Alex and Kendrick, at the bar, just kept it going from there. I went alone to celebrate a promotion, and ended up having a great evening and feeling like I was celebrating with friends. Their cocktail and wine list is great. Specifically, I'm a Pinot Noir drinker, and it's very hard to find places here who don't have menus chocked full of Cali Pinots. BRIX has plenty of French and Oregon options. I also ordered from the prix fixe menu, which is very reasonably priced. The food was all very good. And more than enough food. This is a great place, and I feel I'll be spending many evenings there.

I recently hosted an Engagement Party and Bridal Shower at Brix... both went great!! Both events were 50+ guests. Nita and her staff were so easy to work with from initial contact re the events to the end of the parties. The food and drinks were really good!! A few of my favorites -Korean beef skewer -Maryland style crab cake -cucumber rosemary martini -rye old fashioned -For brunch- - smoked salmon tartines -mini pancake stacks w lemon curd -amazing mimosas

We had my son's wedding rehearsal dinner at BRIX and it was absolutely perfect. The food was amazing and everyone loved the dinner. The owner Nita was very professional and easy to work with and the wait staff were excellent. They helped me set everything up before the dinner and even helped me bring my decor to my car at the end of the night. Thank you all for making it such a special night for our family and friends!

Not a huge selection of wines and too expensive for what they have. Our waiter was kind of rude as well.

Ask the Community - BRIX Wine Cellars

Do you have a happy hour menu?

Hi Julia, We do not currently have a happy hour.

For people with health issues, do you offer non-alcoholic or mocktail drinks?

Along with traditional soft drinks, we can make a mocktail. We don't currently serve any non-alcoholic beer.

Can you order cocktails off menu?

Absolutely! We have a full bar including an array of whiskeys to choose from.

Is there live music inside? Or is the music outside from the vintage music?

When I had dinner on Thursday evening, there was live music on the outside. It was coming from another establishment, so I am not sure who set it up. It is loud enough to hear and see and I enjoyed it.

It wasn't overly crowded, so we were seated fairly quickly. We started with complimentary bread, which came out hot and was served with olive oil. It was delicious! Since I have a dairy sensitivity, it was a bit challenging to narrow down what to order. I ended up getting the Polpette, which normally comes with two giant meatballs and whole wheat spaghetti, but I substituted with the lamb meatballs because the original version contained cheese. Hindsight, I probably should have stuck with the original dish because I wasn't a fan of the lamb meatballs. That said, the overall flavor of the dish was still very good. If I return, I'd definitely be interested in trying something different from the menu.

Why 3 stars? Because it was a mixed bag…read more --- --- --- 2-3 years earlier, my wife and I visited Mia Bella in Houston and had an absolutely unbelievable experience. The food was stellar across the board and the service was top 5 of our entire lives. Shortly after this visit, we found out that they also had a location in the Willowbrook area, which is a lot closer to us. And my wife's parents love Italian food, so we were hoping to go as a group in the very near future. Well fast forward from 2023, all the way to 2026, and we finally made this happen. I was super excited to show off the place that I'd talked up for nearly 3 years. Unfortunately, this was nowhere near that experience. Overall, we still enjoyed it to a degree, but it was certainly not worth the 40-45 minute commute for us, and even longer for my in-laws. I went back to refresh my memory and read my original review. We ordered three things that totally blew our minds: chicken parm, seafood lasagna and the prosciutto and mozzarella pizza. So that's what we ordered here. I'll start off with the biggest miss: the chicken parm. This is what I said about it from my first visit: "This was explained as not a typical chicken parm dish, as the chicken breast is stuffed with a bunch of things. And I think it's good for people to know that so they aren't given something so far different from way they expect, but I am here to tell you that this is BETTER than classic chicken parm. Sometimes chicken can dry out, but this stuffed chicken breast was anything but dry. Every bite was just ideal. Again, don't come here without ordering this." Here, it was the polar opposite. Dry and bland. The pasta seemed like it had been boiled and that was it. There was no flavor to it. I don't think I can give this anything beyond 2-stars, and that might be generous. The pizza was extremely basic cheese pizza that just happened to have prosciutto on top. This sounds over the top, but this might as well have been Chuck E. Cheese pizza other than the prosciutto. Again, I'll be generous and offer 3-stars. The saving grace is that the seafood lasagna was awesome. An easy 5-stars on this one - no complaints at all. If you simply come here, enjoy the great bread they bring out, and order the seafood lasagna, you'll have a great experience. I hate to give such a negative review, especially for a place I was so pumped to visit, but it was a pretty night and day experience from the other location.

We went on a Thursday at 6:15 p.m. It was fairly busy but we were seated immediately. The waitress arrived right away and had our drinks out quick. I ordered my normal Grey Goose martini with blue cheese stuffed olives. The olives were small and were marinated which added a unique twist that I liked. My friend ordered a drink she was raving over, Dazed and Confused. It was lemony and incredibly refreshing. We started with the Foie Gras Meatballs. Delish! It's like a creamy meatball. I ordered one of the specials: Flat Iron steak (MR) with Brussel sprouts. The steak was a little on the rare side but it was still amazing. Lightly charred on the outside with a drizzle of a sauce I couldn't place. We finished with their little trifecta of desserts: Creme Brulé, Key Lime pie and chocolate mousse. It was a perfect finish to an amazing meal. Side note: my friend that recommended this restaurant had dined here 4 times in 2 weeks. She is obsessed! lol

I tried making reservations online all week but couldn't find an option. I even called the day of and no one picked up, so I was a little nervous walking in without a reservation. Thankfully, they were able to seat us right away--apparently a lot of reservations had canceled or no-showed. The place itself is super cute. Not too busy when we first arrived, but it definitely picked up at one point. Everyone was friendly when we walked in, and the wine specials were amazing. I ordered the Pinot Noir flight, and for the price, it just made sense--totally worth it. Now the food... SO good. Everything was reasonably priced and absolutely delicious. We tried the empanadas, the ceviche, the mussels, and I got the steak with shrimp (not sure the exact name). It came with mashed potatoes and asparagus, and honestly it was phenomenal. I'd come back just for that dish alone. I definitely want to return for happy hour and maybe another girls' night. The only downside: our first server. I'm not sure if he was flustered, annoyed, or just having a day, but his energy toward our table was not it. We came out to relax and get away from attitudes at home, not to deal with more. He seemed impatient and uninterested, didn't offer recommendations, took our order and rushed off, and overall treated us very differently from the table next to us--who he was super sweet to, even giving them a hug at one point. I was the first one there and he was nice initially, but once the rest of my friends arrived, his whole demeanor changed. We asked for a different server, and that made ALL the difference. The second server--the gentleman with the bald head and beard--was phenomenal. Patient, helpful, friendly, and made us feel welcome. 100% recommend sitting in his section! Overall, the prices were reasonable, the drinks and food were delicious, and the vibe was great. I'll definitely be back--just hopefully with a smoother reservation process and NOT with that first server. Happy hour and steak night, here I come!
