Me and my girls were looking for a cute spot for a girls' night and came across this little winery bar close to my house. I tried making reservations online all week but couldn't find an option. I even called the day of and no one picked up, so I was a little nervous walking in without a reservation. Thankfully, they were able to seat us right away--apparently a lot of reservations had canceled or no-showed. The place itself is super cute. Not too busy when we first arrived, but it definitely picked up at one point. Everyone was friendly when we walked in, and the wine specials were amazing. I ordered the Pinot Noir flight, and for the price, it just made sense--totally worth it. Now the food... SO good. Everything was reasonably priced and absolutely delicious. We tried the empanadas, the ceviche, the mussels, and I got the steak with shrimp (not sure the exact name). It came with mashed potatoes and asparagus, and honestly it was phenomenal. I'd come back just for that dish alone. I definitely want to return for happy hour and maybe another girls' night. The only downside: our first server. I'm not sure if he was flustered, annoyed, or just having a day, but his energy toward our table was not it. We came out to relax and get away from attitudes at home, not to deal with more. He seemed impatient and uninterested, didn't offer recommendations, took our order and rushed off, and overall treated us very differently from the table next to us--who he was super sweet to, even giving them a hug at one point. I was the first one there and he was nice initially, but once the rest of my friends arrived, his whole demeanor changed. We asked for a different server, and that made ALL the difference. The second server--the gentleman with the bald head and beard--was phenomenal. Patient, helpful, friendly, and made us feel welcome. 100% recommend sitting in his section! Overall, the prices were reasonable, the drinks and food were delicious, and the vibe was great. Howdy Y'all!! My family's been here several tymes prior and it was excellent based on food, wine, service. When we visited last May it was a less than stellar performance based on food and service. The wine was fine. Ambiance is fine. My poke chop which I've enjoyed in the past (9.5/10) was a 7/10 and that's probably me being generous because the wine was excellent on the May visit. My wife's steak which she raved about in the past (9.5/10) swore she'd not return after the May visit 6/10. This weekend 8/21-22/26 FSat, we'll return to see if they'll SHINE once again or if they'll be permanently banished from our Cypress dining options. I wish them the best. Have a good day. Nice place but my blackened red Snapper was dry and tasted fishy. No seasoning at all and It cost 45 bucks! I was very disappointed to say the least, should have sent it back. Hubby had the short ribs with carrot puree and cauliflower mash which was a puree too and a small piece of meat with gravy. Not worth the price. The empanadas were good tho and the flights were impressive. I will stick to appetizers and wine next time if I ever go again. Overpriced. read more

This was my second time coming here and will have to say how impressed I am with this little gem. Their wine selection is nice with a great set of flights at a very economical price. We came for happy hour on a Saturday and really enjoyed the food they had on special. I really like their Caprese Salad as the balsamic they used has a great sweet hint of sweetness to it. I had such a great time at D'vine Wine Bar last night for my sister's birthday, I was compelled to write a review there at the table. But I didn't. Gotta stay "present." We started off with multiple bottles of prosecco, charcuterie, fig/balsamic/proscuitto flatbread and margarita flatbread. For whatever reason, there are mixed reviews about their pizzas/flatbread, but the margherita pizza was deceptively good. The crust was perfect, and the sauce and herbs almost convinced me to order the table a second. Apparently Thursday is steak night, but i opted for the crusted red snapper with risotto. First time ever going! Went for one of my bestie's birthdays. We thought we were doing wine tasting but they didn't have it yesterday. But we still ate dinner and had wine. I got a flight of sweet wine, It was delicious. I'm going to go find that at Total wines or specs because it was good. I will be coming back to this location again. I ordered the prime burger and so did my friend's husband. They did switch our plates but by the time I realized he was already eating it so I just kept it; but I asked for no chipotle mayo and asked for it on the side and Well done. But since they switched our burgers it was really pink. I only ate half of it. The other half I brought home so I can cook it a little more. I should have returned it but I didn't; but I know next time to make sure to cut into it to make sure it's well done. The other items that are pictured are some of my friends entrees. read more

Since my aunt and I both enjoy wine, she decided to take me to her daytime getaway restaurant, and I'm glad she did. Not only was the service great, but their food was pretty good as well! My expectations weren't that high considering that wine bar food can be a little hit and miss, but I'm glad they proved me wrong. If you like sweet like me, I recommend getting their flight of sweet wines. All of them were amazing, so you really can't go wrong with whatever you choose. In addition to the good wine, their cilantro butter mussels, deviled eggs, and Asian wings were AWESOME. It's a good thing I don't live in Cypress...otherwise I'd probably be there every other week. This one is a HARD NOOOOOO!!!! How in the world can I do a bad review, worse than the one I did for Sam's Boat at Town Lake because of their service (NOT their food) I never thought this would ever happened. Gosh this one is hard for me to do, it has been 2 months since we were at this restaurant, but here we go (this is our personal experience and it really left a extremely bad taste in our mouth!!!) My boyfriend research the Cypress area for a wine bar for my birthday in December. Ambiance: Ok nothing special, not sure whose play list they had on, but it did not belong at a wine bar for sure. Music was more for those who like to do the wap Food: Charcuterie.... The smallest 4 pieces of cheese I have ever being served at a restaurant! I actually felt like we went to a restaurant that was in a very tight budget. Main course.... We had their house special: baked potato which descent, over cooked steak, undercooked shrimp, and a lobster (aka I big size prawn). We mentioned to the waiter the issues with the meal, and asked for the manager, BUT he or she NEVER came to our table. The restaurant was not busy at all, the manager should had come to our table to address the issues we had with the food. Which is a normal expectation. Service: We had more interaction with the lady refilling our water, than with our waiter. She was super sweet! My boyfriend paid the bill and made a note, "food not good and service below standard". As we were leaving, a woman behind the bar asked why the comments in the bill. My boyfriend said, "I will call tomorrow to discuss". She walked away and said, "don't bother!" In a really snarky, insulting way. We asked her name, she wouldn't give it to us. Then we asked if she was the manager, and she answered "I am a partner or something". NO MA'AM if you had an investment in this establishment, you would had a different attitude, and be more concern about any issues with the quality of the food and service. Is it THAT simple! For whomever this woman was behind the bar, she should NOT and I repeat, should NOT be in the restaurant business at all! Extremely rude, no class and treats her customers like they are below her. Mind you, I am red blooded Colombiana, I don't like bad service, bad food and attitude when I go to a restaurant. I praise establishments when they do their job right. The experience we had at this place was horrible and it ruined my birthday! I am not here to give bad reviews to restaurants, BUT if the food is bad, and then get insulted by one of the employee's .... I have an issue with that. By the way, to top it all.... my boyfriend and I had food poising after we eat that gross food! So @Houstonhealthdepartment you might want to check this place out!!! The place is smaller than I expected, and has more of a sports bar kind of vibe which personally isn't up my alley. I ordered their steak which was delicious, and flatbread which wasn't very fresh and had an odd aftertaste. The wine flights are reasonably priced. Service was okay. It did seem like there were a few regulars so it was nice to see the place had loyal customers. Another dinner at D'vine Wine was spectacular !. We came a little late, but the bartender mentioned it's still happy hour, and we were able to a nice bottle of Pinot Grigio for $25... the wine of happy hours consistently changes, so you get a chance to indulge with other wine labels. We hit happy hour shareable, empanadas, of course, a shrimp dish, and the crabs cakes (not on the happy hour menu). I had the double bone pork, which was about 3 inches thick, delicious, and tender. The food is first class, my wife and I shared the eggplant starter which was delicious.. we followed that by their burger, which being on a health kick I should not have ordered, but seeing it being eaten by others at the bar - led me to Change my mind. What a great place to gather for date night or even a few friends. The staff is very knowledgeable about their full menu and wine selections. Need to sample a couple to make a decision? Not an issue. Their prices are incredible and beat most of the Cypress area in that regards and especially the quality of the food. It can get a little noisy in there and make it difficult to have a private conversation but that tells me one thing; the customers are having a great time and enjoying the ambiance of the restaurant. My wife and I are avid Cypress foodies and I've reviewed most restaurants in the area. We had been to D'vine a couple of times for drinks but not to dine. We decided to give it a try due to numerous friend recommendations and are glad we did. The Happy Hour menu is extensive. The empanadas appetizer are excellent. I had the ribeye and my wife had the fillet. Both were perfectly prepared and very good, especially considering the price. It's not fine dining but it's close. And the atmosphere is funky and unique. We ordered the food and were beyond excited for fennel sausage on our pizza. My wife and I have been going here for years. The food and service is always consistently great and we always have a memorable evening. We went last night and I got the seafood medley with Chilean sea bass, shrimp and a lobster tail served on top of some kind of charred rice.... all I can say is WOW!
