Fantastic place! My wife and I stopped in about a month ago. It was a Thursday afternoon and we sat at the bar. We ordered a couple drinks, glass of wine and a non alcoholic beer. They both were great! The staff were super nice and even tasted my wife on a coffee drink they may put on the menu to get her thoughts. The atmosphere was a really cool vibe. We used to love coming here and today we came again expecting the amazing burger they've always had but they changed the burger and now it's horrible. It used to have so much flavor and juicy but now it's super dry and the bread looks like an everything bagel bread. They offered to change the bread and it came out just as bad. Stopped by with a group for a weekend lunch. The shrimp and bacon pizza came highly recommended so that was my main dish. It was delicious! I got the truffle fries and I was a bit disappointed bc they aren't fries...they're like thick blocks of potatoes. I've never seen fries served this way. I thought they'd be regular fries bc that's what I saw people posting on yelp but I guess the fries I saw were a different order. To drink we got a bottle of champagne for mimosas. I don't like the concept of having to walk across the room to the mimosa bar everytime you need juice to mix the mimosas. Usually juices are conveniently kept at the table. My wife and I visited Sixty Vines with my wife's brother and his wife for dinner one evening. We had heard that Sixty Vines was a good restaurant with a great selection of wine. Once seated, we were very impressed with the wines we had to choose from and decided on a couple of bottles. We ordered some appetizers, the crispy fried brussel sprouts and the red beet hummus while we had some fine wine and tried to talk. When I say tried to talk, I mean we all quickly realized that communication at Sixty Vines was going to be a great challenge. Just sitting across the table from each other, we were not able to hear each other. Sixty Vines was an extremely LOUD restaurant! After a short time, we were ready to order our dinner. I chose the Rainbow Trout dish, my wife the Pan Roasted Chicken, my brother-in-law the Double Cabernet Burger and his wife the Ceaser Salad. We did have some trouble getting our orders to our waitress as she was unable to hear us, but we finally got our meals ordered. All four meals were absolutely delicious including my pan seared trout with snap peas, pickled fennel and lemon dill aioli was particularly good as was my wife's Pan Roasted Chicken with hot pickled peppers, toasted garlic and fresh herbs. The food and service were outstanding but our overall feeling about Sixty Vines was that it was far too loud for us to have a normal conversation at and based on this really limits any likelihood of us returning for a family meal. read more

My friend and I met up around 9pm on a Friday night, so we closed the place down around 11pm closing time. The ambiance and atmosphere was beautiful. Then we had an amazing server, Trill, who took outstanding care of us. We ordered a few things to share- rigatoni, sausage, brussel sprouts & truffle fries. All very delicious!! The truffle fries were addicting. I would reorder all of these things again. I couldn't settle on the right drink for myself. The frose & martini were good, but didn't stand out necessarily. For appetizers we got the burrata, fried chicken and caviar, and crispy zucchini. The chicken was moist and tender with a nice crisp to it and paired very well with the caviar. The burrata was just as good though I do wish the portion size was a bit larger. For the entree, I got the campanelle and this was so delicious I devoured it quickly. The shrimp was tender and the pasta was al dente. The tomatoes were also a nice refreshing touch to the pasta. As for dessert we had the sticky toffee cake and this was the star of the show. We sat at the back bar, near the kitchen, and it was pretty neat watching the guys on the pizza station and observing the action in the kitchen. Of course we enjoyed the wine but, the food was amazing as well. I cannot recall our server's name but she was great; she offered me a couple samples of wine at the start as I was indecisive. We went at Sixty Vines for our Anniversary. This restaurant is so beautiful, clean, and the ambiance is great with a wonderful view out to the square. We ordered the Bacon Wrapped Dates as appetizer and let me tell you: these little dates pack BIG flavor!! The saltiness from the bacon, and the sweetness from the dates plus the delicious crunch ouch of balsamic glaze makes these a perfectly balanced appetizer! For our dinner we ordered the Caesar Salad and the Cali Chicken Chop. Probably the best salads we've had at a restaurant in a long time. And I know it sounds boring, but for those that want to eat light without sacrificing boldness in flavor, THIS is where to go. Ate here for lunch to celebrate a few of my friends graduating and I wasn't disappointed at all. We started off with some appetizers: crispy zucchini (nice crispiness and flavor) and the burrata (very different from typical burrata that I've had--appearance-wise--but it was so delicious and the perfect app to hold us over for the main course). For my entree I had the rigatoni, and although I'm not the biggest cheese lover out there, the whipped ricotta (and the eggplant) gave the pasta a nice creaminess without overpowering the freshness of the tomato sauce. For dessert we all tried the sticky toffee cake and it was EXCELLENT. As someone who hates the taste of alcohol and ginger, I didn't even realize it was made with rum and ginger until I looked at the menu again just now. The cake had a caramely sweetness and the pineapple gave it a nice fruity balance. So delicious I was actually sad when it was all gone. read more

It's an intimate scenery but is also classy and good for group dining because they have ample space in the middle as well as areas around the restaurant for a one-on-one date. Service has been good. My husband's aunt was getting married, and her shower was held here. For starters, the restaurant has a coastal ambiance, and it's huge on the inside. We used to come often when it was Jasper's. I was always hesitant about trying Sixty Vines since I can't have gluten for medical reasons, and I was extremely surprised. When we sat down to eat, the staff went through items I could and could not have. I was so impressed at their knowledge of gluten-free. The Atlantic salmon, broccolini, chicken, salami and cheese, and potatoes were all fabulous. For serving a larger crowd at once, none of it tasted overcooked or dried out. The Caesar salad (sans croutons) was also incredible. We had several wines to choose from, as well as a mimosa bar. All of the wines were excellent. Since the private dining is on the second floor, there's an elevator (in addition to the stairs) that allows for help with handicapped patrons or those with strollers. The recommendation wine was a bit more expensive so I asked if they would price match, alas I was told no. So, I ended up with a cheaper not as great but decent wine. Like other Sixty Vines locations and many casual Italian spots, the interior offers a stylish blend of rustic charm and modern, sleek design, creating a cozy yet contemporary atmosphere. We initially reserved a spot on the patio for our group of 8, but due to the rain, the staff was accommodating and moved us indoors. It's also worth mentioning that they're very family-friendly, as they allow strollers inside--a nice touch for parents with young children. Though they offered a brunch menu, we decided to go with the Fig & Pig pizza and Spicy Sausage pizza. While the flavors were solid, the texture of the pizzas didn't quite meet expectations for a wood-fired pizza. Service was pretty slow, and sadly no water refills. One of our pizza also arrived 20 minutes late, and we had to flag our server down to get it. I stuck to coffee this time, but they do have an extensive wine menu for those who want to indulge. Located in the Woodlands shopping center next to the courtyard and various other shops and businesses. Parking was quite difficult to find due to the amount of traffic in this area. We ended up parking in the HEB parking lot and walking over due to the immediately adjacent parking spots being full. The interior of the restaurant is very spacious and is very similar to the other casual Italian spots that have popped up in the past few years. Service was quite slow and while well staffed, the efficiency of the staff here doesn't seem the best. We ordered the fig and pig and spicy sausage pizza. One pizza showed up 20 minutes ahead of the other and we had to flag down a staff member to check on our order as they seemed to have forgotten half of what we ordered. The crust of both pizzas were both quite hard and not a crunchy hard but a slightly overcooked sort of hard texture. The sauce was pretty decent on the spicy sausage but could've used more toppings in general. The fig pizza also could have used more fig and cheese. As a happy hour spot for the girls, it's a decent spot but as someone who just wants decent food at a reasonable duration with good service, I was a bit let down by the food and service. This pizza isn't top 5 or top 10 that I've had in town despite having what looks like a legit oven. The interior is pretty nice and aesthetic but just like its Rice U location, its service leave something to be desired in the dining experience. read more

We sat in the area where the garage doors open and it was a beautiful 70 degree day with low humidity--lovely (was this really Houston?). Our server was friendly and knowledgeable.
