I would avoid this place if you are wedding dress shopping. Planning a wedding and coordinating with vendors is already a stressful enough experience as is. So when you come across a vendor that you wanted to work with, but they are terrible at communication, it's time to cut your losses and pick another one who is going to make your planning easier, not harder. Over the course of 5 weeks, I had messaged this store 4 times to ask if they had one specific wedding dress in store and if so, could I schedule an appointment to try it on. I also tried calling but never got anyone to pick up the phone. Not once did this store bother to respond to my original message via their portal or any of my follow up emails to the email address listed on their website. I understand that they must get a lot of inquiries and sorting thru messages probably would take a while. But still no response after over a month is far too long and literally shows that they are unprofessional and really don't care. Also charging a bride $50-100 just to try-on in stock wedding dresses is wild for this level of a boutique. I have paid fees so that a specific loaner dress could be shipped to a store if they don't have it in stock, and I absolutely have no issue with that. But changing a bride to try on dresses you have already in store is just ridiculous, tacky and not common in the area for this boutique's price point. read more

I have mixed feelings about all of my time using Bri'Zan. I originally bought my dress back in 2019. The appointment was good. I can't speak much to the skill of the consultant because I came in knowing exactly what I wanted and bought that dress. It came in right as the pandemic was beginning and then sat in my closet for 3 years of reschedules and cancellations. When I finally had my first appointment for fittings, it was awful. The owner basically ran the show for the appointment and it was rough. The dress didn't fit and she told me they couldn't take it out because of the type of fabric. If this was the case, why didn't the original consultant have me size up?! Mind you, I had not gained any weight and was the same size so this was puzzling. I left that appointment feeling super defeated and upset. I tried to get another appointment to retry the dress (because at this point I was ready to buy something else...) and they couldn't get me in. So I waited 2 months feeling awful. My second fitting was so much better. I worked with Kennedy and she was truly like a fairy godmother. She realized that because of my height (I'm only 5'3"), the waist of the dress wasn't hitting in the right spot. A simple fix made the dress fit like a glove. I am so grateful for her care, love and patience on this day! She worked with me for my final fitting and helped erase all of the negative thoughts I had. Overall in the end I loved my dress. It was stunning and fit me perfectly. I would just hope that this helps make things better for other customers in the future. read more

SHOPPER BEWARE! I was visiting Naperville over a weekend for my son's church wedding and my soon to be in-law (Mother of the Bride) made us a couple of appointments at formal dress shops for the second wedding celebration in December. The second shop was Bri'Zan Couture. The attendant helping us was wonderful, extremely helpful, and I found a dress that I liked and decided I would purchase...I hate shopping. The first concern that caused me pause was how long it would take for the dress to arrive. I was told to expect it to arrive late September, early October (3 months)...this was mid June. Second, I was told there was a "Tariff Tax" since these ship from overseas. Also, instead of shipping directly to me (I live in TN), it would ship to Bri'Zan and they would have to ship to me, incurring subsequent shipping costs. After the wedding Saturday, on Sunday I had time to think about the dress I ordered and was having second thoughts. I was concerned about the timing. After it is received, I will still need to have it altered and the wedding is early December. My daughter-in-law shared a formal dress website that she has ordered from in the past for bridesmaids dresses. They have lovely dresses and reasonable terms. You can order multiple dresses and you can easily return if they don't work. Their ship time is 3.5 weeks and the dress prices are a third the cost of Bri'Zan. We flew home Monday and that afternoon I tried to call Bri'Zan But they are closed on Mondays. I left a voicemail requesting a call back. After not receiving a call back Tuesday morning I called again mid day Tuesday. I spoke to the owner and requested she cancel my dress order at that point she informed me that their terms are all sales are FINAL, the order cannot be canceled for any reason. I pulled out the receipt that I was given at the shop and there are no written terms on that receipt. I told her that I was never verbally informed that all sales are final. She asked me to check my email and there was an email from Bri'Zan with a receipt attached with the terms and she says I signed a contract. The only time I signed something was on the credit card kiosk. So I guess shame on me for not reading the terms on the credit card kiosk. She claims that my dress is custom. There is nothing custom about the dress. In my experience, they just had racks of dresses for you to try on. No one walks out with a dress the same day, all dresses have to be ordered. Also she claimed that I waited 4 days to attempt to cancel. I was there on Friday, they are closed Sunday and Monday...I called within 2 business days. This is just a warning to future shoppers.. you better be absolutely sure you want that dress!! I'm IMO, Bri'Zan Couture, is not at all customer focused..I work in an industry that serves customers and I would never be so callous to my customers. I came here with my daughter to shop for wedding dresses. After looking through the racks she had picked out a variety of dresses. The sales assistant was very nice. Once my daughter had determined the style of dress she liked the sales assistant brought her a lot of dresses to try on until she found the one. She was very kind and patient. Why only 3 stars? Because as I was paying the deposit with a credit card a request to add on a tip popped up???? The sales assistant informed me that the entire tip would go to her. I was stunned! We had just purchased a dress that cost thousands and you're asking for a tip? I told her that this dress was very expensive and that I hope she is well paid. Needless to say I didn't tip. Last weekend, I came into the Chicagoland area from Denver to do some wedding dress shopping with my family and Bri'Zan was my first stop. My party was large - sister, mom, my future mother and sister in-law, aunt and grandma. Bri'Zan and Alice did a great job of taking care of my whole party and myself. Everyone had a comfortable seat and my dressing room was spacious. I loved that we started the appointment by going through the racks and picking out dresses that we were drawn to. We got in and out of dresses quickly and Alice listened intently to what I was and was not looking for. In order to help me visualize the dresses in different lights, she even turned down the lights for me so I could see what it would look like as the sun set at our mountain venue. Talk about dedication! At the end of the appointment, I was torn between two very different styles of dresses and expressed that I had another appointment that I wanted to go to the next day while I was in town. Ultimately, I ended up finding my dress at a different place but I really did love my experience at Bri'Zan and would've happily purchased my dress there if we had found "the one" during my appointment. I was helped by Alice, a head stylist, and she could not have been more helpful and kind. If you're a person of color or have a heart, DON'T SHOP HERE. Back in March this store called the harassed my aunts who were looking to buy a wedding dress. They browsed one day, and the following they were lured back to this store and falsely accused of stealing a belt. Naperville Police were then called and cops locked my aunt in a back room at Bri'Zan for an unlawful interrogation, pushing for her to admit wrongdoing. We stole nothing. Naperville PD and Bri'Zan proceeded to extort my family in order to release my aunt from the back of a patrol car. We were charged double for a an ugly belt we never so far as picked up or else my aunt was going to get dragged off and jailed. The cops tried to play it off as if they were doing us a favor, because by the end they realized they screwed up. If we wanted to, we could buy every ugly dress up in this place. Not sure why this place isn't rated higher but I loved everything about my experience here! I can't believe I didn't write a review sooner! Lisa worked with me when I went to look for my wedding dress. She was absolutely amazing!! She was extremely quick, listened to my needs, wasn't too pushy, very patient, and she got me in and out of those dresses faster than I could imagine! I couldn't believe how easy this process was. There is a little platform you stand on, they dim the lights on you, place a veil on your head, give you a mock bouquet, and really just personalize the experience. I loved that it wasn't chaos. It was me and another girl in the fitting room next to me, that was it! I was going for a specific style but was open to trying on anything. Lisa had us (myself, sister, Mom) go through the dresses and pick out what we liked for me to try on. I didn't even realize she threw some in the mix herself. Needless to say, the dress I fell in love with was one that she picked out and was totally not the style I was expecting to like on me. Hands down the best Bridal Store EVER! 3 weeks ago, I had a wedding dress emergency and due to the fact I worked out a lot, my dress didn't fit. I left a voicemail for Bri'Zan, to see if they would be willing to help me, even though I didn't buy my dress from them. The next day, Sue called me. She was very friendly, helpful and hopeful that they could help me. We booked an appointment to determine my alteration needs. Without even second guessing it, she said we will take very good care of you and they did. Bri'Zan, Sue, Samia and the staff that worked with me, turned my dream dress into something even more imaginable than I could ever want. My dress was gorgeous before they made alteration changes but my guests will be completely overwhelmed with tears to see me in this one-of-a-kind dress. Everyone at Bri'Zan was kind and helpful and made my daughter feel very special as she found THE dress. Alterations were a breeze and our consultant was extremely helpful and informative as we brought the dress home - telling us what to do, what not to do, how to store it, etc. to make it easy for us to handle a dress that had layers upon layers and a long train. My only criticism would be that the prices are pretty gasp-worthy, both for the dress and for alterations, so be sure to leave room in your wedding budget if you choose Bri'Zan! That said, the dress was beautiful and finished on time and clearly excellent quality so I guess you get what you pay for! ;) read more

I first heard of this place at a wedding expo and I scheduled my appointment there. To find a date to come in was a bit hard- as they were mostly all booked. But I managed to get an appointment a few weeks later. And I'm so glad I did! Right away, everyone was very friendly and offered my MOH and I some water, they got my info down and after a few minutes my consultant came to get us. We walked around the whole store, picking dresses off the rack that I'd want to try. She talked me through some details and convinced me to try some that I normal would have not (I was set on an A-line dress with sleeves, to cover my tummy area and arms) The store was a bit busy but I never felt like I wasn't being taken care of, I always had someone there to answer my questions or being more water. The dresses were all beautiful and I am very picky with my lace so I thought I'd have a hard time finding what I wanted. Turns out I didn't know what I wanted! My consultant got me into a beautiful beaded mermaid dress and I fell I love! She put the vail on, dimmed the lights, gave me a bouquet and I was brought to tears. Happy tears!! I realized at that moment that I had been trying to hide my body and myself in poofy dresses but she made me feel stunning in that fitted dress. But best of all, she only pulled dresses that were within my budget (that dress was way under) so I was able to fall in love with a dress and not stress about how I'd pay it or worse, have to not get it. Awesome experience here last Saturday. We had a 3:00 pm appointment for my sister to try on prom dresses. Sue was our consultant and she was amazing to work with! She asked my sister about her favorite styles, colors, etc. and immediately pulled 5 dresses for her and also had us pull as many dresses as we liked for my sister to try on. My sister probably picked 10 dresses total, and also tried on 3 specific dresses more than once because she had trouble deciding. Sue was so patient and we really appreciated her honest feed back. It made the process a lot easier. It got pretty busy in store around 4 pm and Sue had to help out a few other customers that came back into the fitting room but she was still very attentive to our needs and helping my sister with her dresses. I had my toddler with me who started getting crabby towards the end of the appointment and the employees were really nice about it and didn't mind her playing around the fitting rooms. Everyone was helpful but Sue really just made it a great experience! My sister picked out a gorgeous dress and she is so happy with it. We will be back for sure!! read more

I could not be more disappointed in the product and service I received at Bri'Zan. There are so many things I could go on about but here are the worst parts of my experience- - Unprofessional staff: Told my daughter that she needed to "talk me off the ledge" when I was unhappy with the alterations. Waited 45 minutes while staff were chatting about a trip they were on. - Dress quality: The dress fell apart, before even walking down the aisle. The hems were coming lose, the lace was coming off, strings were hanging at the bottom in which I kept tripping over them. - Alteration issues: First fitting we discussed the fixes and the added things needed (cover up on chest, shortened, etc). When I came in for first fitting, these were not done. The staff went on to say that was not in the notes. - Price: I bought a $600 dress, and was told alterations would be 150-250. To my surprise, I went to pay afterward and they told me they were $300. They said because they had to fix the first alterations (even though they were the ones who didn't write down the correct needs). I even sent an email to the owner about all my concerns and never received an email back. It was a lot of time and money spent for a very disappointing experience. I would never go there for a dress again and I would not recommend this store to anyone. read more

I never felt like she was a sales person trying to get me to buy an expensive dress, I felt like she really wanted to help me find the right one. Which I did! within my budget too. Months later my dress arrived at the shop and I scheduled my first fitting. The dress fit perfectly and I didn't have to get any alterations (I know that's rare) but in the end, I saved a ton of money and just had to pay for the bustle and boob things. Everyone at the store was so friendly and Sue really made sure I felt special. When I came in to get my alterations I had some issues since my dress wasn't fitting the way I wanted it to. On my last fitting I had a huge panic when the dress still didn't fit the way I had hoped, BUT Sue and her team were so supportive and didn't let me leave until the dress was absolutely perfect. What was supposed to be a 30 minute trip turned into 2 hours, but I am so grateful for their patience and support through my dress debacle. Or ended up being perfect and I got so many compliments. ZERO STARS WOULD BE TOO MANY!! Made an appointment for my daughter to see wedding gowns. Was charged $50 just to make an appointment....no other bridal salon charges anything, but this was important as we were taking her grandmother along. For two weeks I've received email confirmations and text reminders of the upcoming appointment. Today 4 hours before our scheduled (prepaid) appointment time, I receive a call from some young woman to let me know they are running their annual sample sale and all current stock has been moved out of the store to make room. Was this a sudden, unplanned sale? Why in the numerous confirmations was it NEVER stated we'd be limited to sample dresses only? Why would I PAY for such an appointment when people can walk-in during the sale at any time? When I inquired about a refund of my appointment fee, I was told the manager would have to make that decision. So I politely asked to speak to the manager. 'Sue' was unable to speak to me but the young caller assured me the refund would occur promptly. (Hasn't happened yet, by the way). What a terrible organization! Shady....shaking down clients for appointment fees! Worst customer service! Awful communication! Frankly, I only made an appointment because I'm trying hard to shop local in these trying times, and because it was a good location to bring in grandma on her wheelchair. BUYER BEWARE! I purchased my dress from Bri'Zan Couture in the beginning of March for my June 11 wedding. I was told that it would be no problem to order a brand new dress (in leu of off the rack), which I paid a large fee to have rushed mind you, with there still being more than enough time to complete alterations. I arrived today for my final fitting, on time at 5pm, only to be told after waiting for 30 minutes that the seamstress was behind from her first appointment of the day (which was at 11am) and they wouldn't be able to take me until 7pm....2 HOURS after my original appointment time. This might not sound like much, but almost the exact same situation happened with my first fitting appointment, when they made up the same story about being behind, turns out the seamstress wasn't even at the shop that day and strolled into the business an hour after my start time, not running behind, just not there. Since I sensed a pattern of deceit, naturally I became upset and asked to speak to a manager or the owner, and was told that they don't come in to the shop and they weren't at liberty to give out their phone numbers, when I asked for their email, I was presented with a generic email for the store with a name to address it to. After a quick social media search, I discovered that in fact I was lied to AGAIN, and was given a false name for the owner! At this point, I just wanted to leave with my dress and have any final tweaks done elsewhere since I was't able to wait the additional hour half, and honestly, didn't trust a word they were saying anymore and no longer felt comfortable doing business with them. 30 minutes later, the girl (still NOT the owner or manager) came up with my dress concealed in a garment bag and told me I would need to sign a waiver to take it. Excuse me...I own this dress outright, what do I need to sign anything for?? I demanded a print out of said waiver before I signed anything, and was given the run around that she couldn't print it. They could in fact print it after I insisted multiple times I would not be signing anything without reading it on paper because you couldn't see what was actually on it on their little electronic pad. Well.....they were trying to be sneaky and get me sign something that said I was taking the dress after examining it and was happy and they wouldn't be held responsible for any damages! She was trying to tell me that she couldn't print it out so I could not read exactly what I was signing. Once I saw this, I walked over to my dress, unzipped it and pulled it out......NOTHING had been done, the hem was still cut from scissors, the lace is peeling off there's no bustle, and its STAINED!!!! They weren't running behind from a bridal appointment, they were in fact, trying to start all of my alterations at the time of my appointment!!!! Wait...it gets better......guess who decides to show up now....the OWNER who "never comes in", who was actually in back the entire time, and her only offer to rectify the situation was to complete the alterations, ha YEA RIGHT!!!! Very very long story short, spend your money elsewhere where they value their customers instead of lying through their teeth, have ZERO accountability and leave you hanging with a very expensive dress all cut up a week before your wedding. read more

It's really too bad that this place has so few stars, but unfortunately, it is a deserved rating. When my mom and I came in here to look at wedding dresses and Mother of the Bride dresses, we had a blast with all of the women that worked there. The young girls were so helpful and sweet, excitable and peppy. The manager with whom I was working with in my first experience there was amazing - she would listen to my input of what I wanted and pulled a few dresses for me to try based on my feedback. I ended up really liking one of them, but couldn't fully commit because it wasn't exactly the dress that I was looking for. My mom came in separately with some of her girlfriends to look for her own dress and found one that looks AMAZING on her. She continued to shop around, just to make sure that there was nothing else out there for her, and she kept coming back to the dress at Bri'zan. Finally she pulled the trigger, so we have been waiting with baited breath for it to come in. My mom knew that the dress was supposed to be in around June, and being anxious to see it and get it all done up and ready for her, we called to find out the status of where it was. They first told us that the dress she ordered wasn't being sold anymore, so we had a moment of panic when we thought that they might not have gotten the order in on time. Luckily they did, so no worries, they'll eventually have the dress. But oh shoot, the dress was back-ordered, so it'll get in a bit later than they previously told us. (First of all, where was the call to let us know that it was back-ordered, if that was really the case?) We then requested for the shop to send us an email confirmation that the dress had in fact been ordered, what the back-order information was, and what the new expected date of delivery was. What happened after the girl got back on the phone with us? "Oh, actually, your dress is already in. We have it at the shop and you can come pick it up if you want." What a strange, coincidental miracle that her dress suddenly appeared in the shop when we asked for specifics... I suspect that this was their plan all along so that they can get you locked into alterations at their shop, which by the sounds of it from other reviewers, are incredibly overpriced. None of the run-around that they gave us seems to make sense to me. Why would they tell us the dress isn't being sold anymore, then that it's on back-order? It was an emotional game of cat and mouse...something both my mother and I were not in the mood to deal with when it came to her MOB dress. Thankfully, I think they may have sensed our annoyance and frustration and didn't contact us about alterations in their shop. Words to the wise: You obviously know what size your body is. ALL dress shops will tell you to get a larger size (which is reasonable) so that it can be taken in to fit your body, but a dress that is 10 sizes too big is absolutely unreasonable and a scam. Don't let them talk you into that, even if they say the designer's sizes "run small". Go up maybe 3 sizes from that you usually are, but if you're a 4 and they get you a 14, they're just looking for more of your $$$$. read more

I went to Brizan yesterday to look for a wedding dress. I live out of town, flew home to dress shop with my mom, and had to fly back home within a few days. I was very nervous because I only had 2 days to find a dress, and this was my first dress appointment ever, and I wasnt 100% sure what styles I liked. Kim was my consultant, and I cannot thank her enough for helping me! She listened to my time constraints, and helped me better understand what I liked and disliked. She was very patient with me, made me feel very comfortable throughout the whole process, and was very social and polite to my guests. I did find a dress that I really liked at Brizan, but decided to do a little more shopping that day to make sure that was the one. Kim really helped me understand my vision which helped me at my next appointment. I did find a dress elsewhere, but to no fault of Kim or the boutique. My experience at the other boutique was not the same. My consultant at the other shop was not friendly, there was a lot of dead air with this woman in the changing room, she didnt interact with my guests, and I had to keep repeating what I liked/didn't like when she kept pulling out dresses with silhouettes and details that I had no interest in. Luckily I did find exactly what I wanted in a dress at this other place. I really wish I could have taken Kim with me to this other boutique so she could have had that sale instead. This is thee place to come for Prom in the northwest suburbs! I came here looking for my junior prom dress and fell in love with the amazing brands and customer service. I had such a unique and stunning gown. I immediately became hooked and came here for my homecoming, senior prom, and other formals. I shopped around at Peaches and other prom/bridal boutiques and NOTHING COMPARES TO HERE. Sue (the store manager) knows her stuff and is a sweetheart! Wow. I was looking at this place to recommend to a friend and I'm shocked by all the negative reviews. I've shopped here twice for my daughters Senior Homecoming and Senior Prom. Both times the service was beyond outstanding. Both dresses were perfect. I did have them altered elsewhere just because I have a good local lady I use. They even put one dress on hold until the following morning because it was on sale and 6 months until prom. I wanted my daughter to have some cooling off time. They were very accommodating and not at all pushy. She bought it the following day and loved it just as much on her prom day. I recommend you to everyone! I went to look for a wedding dress at Bri'Zan. After trying on dresses, I was informed that all the dresses I tried on were all $7500+. This was more than double what I said I was looking to spend ($2000-3000). This was unprofessional and a waste of time. UPDATE - I found the same dresses she quotes as $7500 and as "Sue's own design" at Kleinfeld's for $1500-3000 under the Allure Bridal brand. I would highly recommend that you NOT use this place for anything wedding related. Overall my wedding planning experience was fun and stress free, Bri'Zan was the only vender that was terrible to work with and had horrible follow through. Luckily my dress wasn't from here but my bridesmaids did order their dresses through this store and they delivered the incorrect product or did not complete orders on time almost every step of the way. If you're looking for a low stress wedding planning experience definitely avoid this store. read more

Problems with this store: 1. Brand infringement - already contacted the corporate offices of the brands that were claimed to be Bri'Zan designs by Sue. 2. Price inflation - was quoted $7,500 for a $3,000 dress. 3. Racial discrimination. 4. Lack of basic business ethics. Stay away. read more

No where near the quality of service this storefront gave when it was located downtown Naperville and selling cocktail and prom dresses. My daughter wanted to look there for a wedding dress, the experience was terrible. The woman assigned to us was belligerent and unwilling to try anything other than the one style my daughter mentioned at the beginning of the appointment. When I asked her opinion and requested other styles of wedding gowns she yelled back "that's not what she wanted" the appointment went downhill after that. Then we were lucky enough to have 2 women and a screaming toddler sharing our appointment time. Needless to say we left shortly after that with no intention of buying a dress from them. Ultimately we found a little shop in Glen Ellyn where they only schedule one appointment at a time and the women actually had experience with brides. read more

Don't give your money to these racists. They discriminated my family and accused of stealing. They called the cops because they wanted us to return a belt we never took. The Naperville police kept pressuring us "Just admit it, Just admit it and nothing will happen" when we kept saying we didn't take it. We aren't going to admit something that we DID NOT do. It seems like their overpriced musty dresses weren't selling enough so they needed to get the money somehow. This store was so rude to my sister in law. They took longer than expected to deliver her dress, they ordered the WRONG SIZE and IT WAS DIRTY!!!! THIS WAS HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. They didn't even offer her any type of discount or apologize to her!! And they still want to charge her over $500 for alterations!!! Her wedding is in less than a month! This is ridiculous!!!! Take your money elsewhere!!! This place did not give her a memorable experience like how it was supposed to be. read more

I'm not giving this review based on the business, I'm giving this review based on the consultant that I worked with. I came in to Bri'Zan to shop for a wedding dress and this was about the 6th or 7th store I looked at. When the appointment first started I sat down with my consultant, Jennifer, and she asked if I knew what type of wedding dress I was interested in and I told her that I had mostly been looking at ballgowns and she immediately went "Hmm....why?" as if I had the worst taste in the world. I explained that I am a very comfortable person and that ballgowns are much more comfortable to me than say, a fit-and-flare. She then asked if I had pictures of other dresses that I had seen and liked so far and proceeded to look at these pictures for the next 5 minutes or so, which to me could have been much quicker to get the appointment started. Fast forward to choosing some gowns to try on and we are in the dressing room, she completely pushed aside the sale gowns and kept going right to the more expensive dresses for me to try. Not only did she not think I should buy a ballgown, or a dress on sale, but she was overly opinionated about what didn't look good on me. During this time I also overhead another sales consultant bashing another bridal salon in town which is 100% not professional. About 10 minutes in to the appointment I had decided that even if I fell in love with a dress I would not be purchasing one from this shop, specifically with this consultant so I just let her finish the appointment as she pleased to get it over with. Once we left the shop I had family with me that also noticed her rolling her eyes at us, which I too noticed. Overall not a great experience. Luckily I left to get to another appointment which I found my dream dress and worked with a lovely consultant! read more

I would give this place zero stars, if that was possible. I went in to Bri'Zan to look at bridesmaid dresses after being unable to get an appt with House of Brides for over 2 weeks. The person who helped me was polite, but extremely pushy! She also spent a lot of time fawning over the 17 year-old and her mother trying on prom dresses in the fitting room across from mine, while pretty much ignoring me. Bri'zan had very few sizes in which to try on. After a ton of pressure, I gave in and agreed to buy the dress from bri'zan, even though it was DOUBLE the cost of the same one at house of brides, because I just wanted to be done with the hassle and order my dress already. After measuring me, my consultant strongly advised ordering a size MUCH larger than I've ever worn (4 sizes larger to be exact). The size she pushed for was larger than any size I've ever worn even-at my heaviest when 8 months pregnant! I know wedding sizes run small, so i mostly took her word for it. I still insisted on ordering one size smaller than she recommended, as I have been losing weight regularly for some time now. The consultant who had been "helping" me gave me a very hard time about this, and insisted I speak to the manager first. After speaking to the manager they finally agreed to order the size I requested, but I had to sign my life away, practically in blood, just to order the smaller size. They also charged me an extra $40 for "extra fabric" for the larger size. A few months go by and I go to pick up my dress...shocker. It's HUGE. It is obvious that this dress is much larger than should have ever been recommended, even with losing about 10 pounds since I ordered it. I now have to pay bookoo bucks to have it taken in at least 2-3 sizes. I'll be going elsewhere for my fittings, despite Bri'zan pushing me HARD to schedule through them. Shame on bri'zan for charging such high prices for dresses that they purposefully order way too large, in order to con you into paying their inflated prices for alterations. I will be taking my business elsewhere from now on, and telling all my friends and family to do the same! read more
