Shout out to Nancy in Naperville for a great experience at Evereve. I stopped in cause I saw something for my bestie for Christmas in the window. I went in to grab it and true to form, I end up buying items for myself ‍. Great selection of clothing and accessories. I sometimes avoid boutique like stores cause employees can be so pushy. Not that I have a problem with saying no it is just they do not realize it takes me out of my zone, I get annoyed and leave ( take note Evereve not all ur employees " get it"). Nancy was a pleasant exception. Even suggested items ( which I ended up buying) that busted through my comfort zone. Looking forward to going back in the near future! read more

This the third time I have been here and the third time I have been blatantly ignored by the staff. I walk in, no acknowledgement at all. A Caucasian lady walks in right behind me and she is asked if she needs anything and is greeted politely. I walked around the entire store and not once did any sales person acknowledge or ask me if I needed help but they fawned over every other customer there. I was the only non Caucasian customer, btw. And every salesperson there is Caucasian. Like I said, this wouldn't be so obvious if it didn't happen EVERY SINGLE TIME I have walked in. Never again. Mediocre overpriced clothes anyway. I'd rather take my business elsewhere where people aren't so blatantly rude and prejudiced. And not that this matters, but I was dressed properly and had on a designer handbag (in case they were wondering if I had any money to pay for their items ) read more

I have mixed feelings about this store. On the one hand, it's one of the only places in Evanston that has an awesome selection of non-ugly designer jeans (Paige Denim, 7 for all Mankind, Joe's) and also a cute selection of boots. Tops are more hit/miss, as they have tons of flowy things but not many are super flattering (on my body, at least). I did, however, buy my most favorite sweater of all time here, and for that I am grateful. My main beef with this place is not the merchandise, which is generally pretty solid. I do not love their sales techniques. The second you walk in, they descend upon you, and while they are very friendly, it is painfully obvious that they pay all their reps on commission. I personally do not love having someone follow me around and tell me that everything I touch is "their all-time favorite piece in the store", or bring me things they think I'll like (unsolicited) so that I can have an awkward conversation about why that thing I'm not going to buy is not my style. I'll continue going here for jeans and last-minute sweater/undershirt needs, and continue my life-long search for an invisibility cloak so that I can shop in peace. read more

Though this place is pricey, they do have some quality pieces of clothing. I was out with a friend and she insisted we stop in to look at maternity clothing for me - it was my first time looking at maternity clothes - and the saleswoman was incredibly helpful. She suggested I try some denim leggings by James Jeans, something I'd normally be too chicken to try on, and they looked awesome. They were a little pricey and since it was so early in my pregnancy I thought I'd wait to buy jeans, but now, two months later, I can't get them out of my head! In addition to finding the jeans, the saleswoman was very helpful in suggesting other articles and was absolutely understanding when I decided not to purchase anything yet. read more

This place is pretty lame. There aren't many maternity stores that sell fashionable clothing. When I was strolling through Naperville and saw this store, I was excited thinking that this store may be different. Sure, it sold trendy pieces; but the quality was poor for the price and they had a small selection of maternity wear. There was more of a selection for non-pregnant "mamas". I really didn't get the whole "Hot Mama" theme. To me, it looked like a place women go to get an outfit to go clubbing. In the back, where the maternity clothes were, was a section of shirts and jeans. The shirts were a little hipper than most stores, but I thought paying $60 for a shirt I'll wear for 3 more months was a little ridiculous. Love this store! Now, the name "hot mama" may be misleading as most people think it is a maternity store. Not the case (even though at one point they had a maternity section), the concept is a store that caters to the busy lives of moms by offering clothing that fits the lifestyle of a "mom." That in itself is still misleading, as I frequently shop here and am not a mom. With that said, the store carries many brands that you'd find in the "tbd" section of Nordstrom (Joe's jeans, Sanctuary, Hudson, Free People, etc). While many people may think that everything in the store has a higher price point, that is not the case; I've gotten plenty a cute shirt for around $30. This store also has some of the best accessories, I always get compliments when I wear jewelry that's I've purchased from this store. The service is always TOP NOTCH here, the stylists are quite friendly and are great at helping to pick out a top for special events or jeans that work well with your body type. While their return policy is a little tighter than some other places (14 days, denim with (intentional) holes and sale items are final sale), they will stand behind items that have fallen apart after a wear or two (unraveling seam, random hole). I had the stitching on the hem of a shirt come out after a few wears; they took back the item and had a professional seamstress fix the hem, it's now as good as new! The store also has a rewards program where you get quarterly coupons, always a nice little bonus. In review, don't let the name fool you, check this place out if you're looking for a dash of "new" to add to your wardrobe! read more

I have to say I love Evereve!! However Lisa S was the person who rang up my purchase. She was so rude !! She never looked at me and continued to speak with other salespeople and another customer the entire time I stood at the register. I had to tell her 4 times I had a gift card due to the fact she did not listen to me and just kept chatting. I'm shocked by they way she treated my mother and I. What should have been an easy transaction took much longer due to her attitude. I will not go back if I have to deal with her. read more

Wow... I have to say, my experience here was fabulous. Michelle helped me select a new pair of Hudson jeans as well as a few stylish tops. I personally love how the sales associates will pull additional merchandise for you to try on while you are in the fitting room. I had such a great experience at this Evereve location. Rachel was so helpful and really helped me find pieces within my budget and needs. I had my toddler with me, so the fact that they have a stroller room with toys and goldfish snacks makes trying on clothes so much easier. Sometimes it's overwhelming when sales people bring clothes you don't ask for, but I have to say, for me today, it made the shopping much easier. Thanks Rachel! read more

I love this store for their selection and service. I am a mom to a toddler, and I was happy to find a store that caters to "moms of all ages" - I find flattering, stylish, and unique pieces every time I visit. I'm from California, but I stop at the store every time I come home to Naperville. I find the staff incredibly helpful - they not only are style experts who are more than willing to pull pieces and outfits for you to try on, but they were also very helpful (twice!) with damaged items - one which I brought home and found a small hole, and another expensive item which faded rather quickly. They were happy to replace the items, and for such excellent service I will keep coming back. read more

Fyi- signed up with Yelp especially to post this. Here is my horrifying episode at Evereve: I try 3 jeans, give one back to the lady for a different size, she comes back without the jeans saying they do not have that size. I get out of the changing room and other lady stares at me and asks me where is the 3rd jeans... I frowned at her saying your colleague took it from me. I had shoes kept aside to buy, I go to my car to get cash (kept safely in my car rather than walking around with it) and return to Evereve to buy shoes. All ladies are looking suspiciously at me. I bought shoes, walked out and went to one more place. HERE COMES THE SHOCKER: When I return to my car parked by Evereve, I see a cop approach me and ask me if I have a jeans on me. I immediately understood clueless ladies had called a cop on me BUT I had nothing to hide, I told him "All I bought was shoes from Evereve". Told him what happened in the store (as above), told him I had cash in my car. We talked for some time and it seemed he immediately understood and agreed, this was not my problem or fault. I complained to the cop and felt shocked that I had to explain myself due to four inexperienced, judgmental ladies (including the manager) who lacks professionalism and internal communication while handling customers demands. Cop advised me not to shop there since I felt wronged. He then switched topic to saying good things about my car, noticing sizable navigation screen etc. and understood how I kept cash safely in my car. Later on, I went back to Evereve to return those shoes and in hope of talking to those ladies but none of them were there. I asked for a manager's contact and it so happens that she was present during the whole stupid act carried out by the ladies. I so wish there was a higher up I could take this to but I convinced myself that I have better and more productive things to do rather than drain myself over some illiterate ladies who lack complete professionalism but are great at bizarre behavior disposition. It is important that I share this unfortunate experience so you know you should NEVER SHOP at Evereve or be very cautious if you do. I am delighted to say - Good riddance for me :-) read more

I have bought many items here, but I won't anymore. I bought a belt here and tried it on with a dress when I got home. The next day I pulled it out to look at it and it was torn. I took it back and wanted to exchange it for another. They didn't have any but found one at another store. They then told me I would have to pay shipping to get it. Really????? Your product was messed up and you want ME to pay shipping to replace it? Talk about no customer service or standing by your products. I would rather buy my high end items at Von Maur or nordstrom where I know their customer service is top notch and their products are too! read more

I'am a Fan! Cute store in downtown Naper. Next to White house black market/loft. Through this is place is a little pricey the sales associates are so friendly and help pull merchandise while you are in fitting. They have some snacks and video games for kids in back. They do not look down on mothers shopping with children and are very helpful! read more

This is only the third review I have ever left and it's so worth it. Last week I went into the store on a Sunday before it closed and I got the best customer service I have ever received. The two girls that were working were super helpful and even suggested some great things for me to wear for a wedding in California. One of the dresses they suggested I loved but wasn't too crazy about. I did not get it and they didn't make me feel bad about not getting it. I got home and realized I had to have that dress they picked out. I went back a week later for that dress they picked and the employee remembered exactly who I was. She even told everyone there about the wedding I was going to and told me to come back and tell her all about it. I trusted their opinion and felt like I knew the girls as friends. I'm horrible with remembering names but I think one was Rebecca and I wish I remembered the other girls name!!! I'll go back next time and find out for sure! read more

Love their unique clothing lines. However it's very pricey and I don't like the incense they use in the store. It's always this indian or wood type of spice smell. When you buy stuff, it smells like the incense ,,,,customer service is great .... read more
