I would never leave my babies anywhere else. Hometown feel and believe it or not, dogs always seem sad to leave. Good people.

I hired Jennifer after doing a search on a group and seeing her business recommended. She came for…read morea meet&greet and we had high hopes, she seemed nice and the dogs liked her. We only wanted three outings a day but she said she lived far, so it would be better to stay overnight, that her mom would handle her clients closer to home. We said OK. She arrived with her kids without mentioning them or asking if we were OK with it. We would NOT have been, as one of my dogs is nervous and reactive (which I mentioned) and that seems like a liability nightmare. I don't know if her business insurance covers her kids. The third day they left a little after 6AM and we noticed by 3PM that she wasn't back yet. She got there at 11.5 hours away. I've never left my dogs that long without a daytime potty break. Her response was "my house is 1.5 hours away and you booked the basic overnight (!!) And there were no potty accidents so it's all good". My poor dogs would hold it way past any semblance of comfort before allowing themselves an accident indoors When we got home we noticed the basement couch covered side to side with a blanket which seemed odd and we moved it to uncover a stain . No response back from her since. Someone also used my husband's VR headset which he's Not Happy about as that's a personal item that gets sweaty during use. Bottom line, would not recommend. She should have just told me we were outside her coverage area.

Would give zero if it was an option. We contacted Jenny on…read moreDec 17th 2023 to see if she would be able to watch our dogs while we were away on vacation in April 2024. She responded right away and we set up a meet and greet. The meet and greet went well- no concerns. We let her know on Dec 22nd that we would book her to watch one of our dogs overnight from April 25th to April 30th. She set up the appointments in the calendar on Jan 17th which came with an automated payment link, and I paid her the full amount of $500 on Jan 28th. On March 19th, we reached out to let her know we would not be needing her services in April as something had come up. She did not respond. I went in and canceled the "appointments" in the system on March 24th, thinking maybe she didn't see my message or our MULTIPLE phone calls to her, but she would definitely see her calendar. She responded on March 28th and told us she is sorry plans had to be canceled, and said that the payment stays on the account so to let her know when we want to book again. We responded back on March 29th asking her for a refund because with what we have going on we really don't know the next time we would need her services. No response. We sent another message on April 14th asking when we would get refunded the money as we could really use it right now because of our situation, and as of today, April 22nd, we still have no response from her. Looking at the cancellation policy: "Clients may cancel the booking up to 24 hours before the due time". It does not say anything about not being able to receive a refund. We were considerate and gave her PLENTY of notice to be able to book with another client, and we paid her way in advance to be sure that the trust was there. Clearly we were mistaken. Long story short-- VERY unprofessional and VERY inconsiderate. We are going through a really hard time right now as we explained to her, and this was not a small amount of money to lose. Honestly just at a loss for words with how awful this whole situation is. PLEASE do not book her services, and PLEASE do not trust her.

I have been a long time customer and never have one complaint. My kids can be a handful and the patience and love that is shown is amazing. Whether they are getting groomed or boarding, I never have a worry. They are dedicated to listening. My spyder just recently got groomed and Im very pleased. Thank you for caring so much and doing an amazing job. It feels good to be able to trust my fur babies in good hands. Also, the prices are very reasonable

I am extremely disappointed with the grooming service my two Golden Retrievers received here…read more When I dropped my dogs off, I was very clear about what I wanted. I asked for their coats to be trimmed as short as they could safely go because they have double coats, but I specifically and clearly stated that I did NOT want them shaved and I wanted their double coats to be safe. When I picked my dogs up, I was shocked by how short their body coats had been taken. Their coats were left extremely short and very uniform across the body. My issue is not simply that I didn't like the haircut. I understand that grooming involves some interpretation. My issue is that I specifically communicated a limitation -- short, but not shaved. There is also a reason owners of double-coated breeds are often advised against shaving or taking their coats extremely short. A Golden Retriever's double coat serves important functions beyond appearance. The outer coat helps protect the skin from environmental exposure, while the undercoat provides insulation. Removing too much of that coat can reduce the dog's natural protection from sun exposure and temperature extremes, increase the risk of sunburn and skin irritation, and in some dogs the coat may grow back unevenly or with a different texture. It can also remove the natural protective barrier that helps protect the skin from dirt, insects and other environmental irritants. That is precisely why I made a point of telling the groomer that I did not want my dogs shaved. I expected a professional groomer to understand the risks associated with taking a double-coated breed extremely short and to respect the limitation I gave them. I called the business to ask what had been done. Instead of having someone calmly explain the grooming process, the groomer was rude and dismissive and essentially responded with, "So what's the issue?" And the groomer denied shaving them completely. I ultimately asked to speak with the owner because I did not feel my concern was being handled appropriately. The owner did eventually call me and apologized, which I appreciated. However, when I requested a partial refund, the owner refused. Instead, I was offered 50% off another grooming appointment for each dog. I don't feel that offering me a discount on a future service addresses the problem with the service I already paid for. I also don't appreciate being told that the owner has "never had anyone ask for a refund before" as though that somehow invalidates my request. Please look at the photographs and make your own decision. I would strongly recommend being extremely specific about what you want and making sure the groomer understands exactly how much coat you are authorizing them to remove. $190 spent, an unwanted haircut, no refund, and no confidence that I would receive the service I requested if I returned. Below is a before and after of my dog..
