I contacted this company back in 2014 to change my living room windows. They did a great job and were affordable for such a large amount of windows. I decided to contact them again this year to change the rest of my windows including a sliding glass door. I was not sure if they would be available during the pandemic. I was glad to hear they were available. They came masks on and staying 6ft away. They worked hard all day and did an amazing job again. We were in contact with Josh during the whole process. Very reliable and professional. Him and his dad where both very friendly and professional.They misplaced a piece of the alarm sensor on the window (which is very small) and felt really bad about it and promised to reimburse whatever cost it would be. When we figured out the cost, we contacted Josh again and he personally came back here to give us the money. I would highly recommend them and give them 6 stars if I could! read more

This company is soooo slow at doing everything! And after they have your money the communication is almost nonexistent. I waited over 4 months to get my initial installment completed. Can't think of any reason not to give BRL and Bob 5 stars. I just moved in to a 22 year old house and even though both AC units had been checked normal, I couldn't cool the house down to below 80 degrees on a hot day. Plenty of insulation in the attic so it had to be the windows. They were original aluminum frame, dual-pane windows but many of them had failed. There was condensation in between the panes and the frames were actually HOT when in direct sunlight. I had Bob from BRL come out and give me an estimate on max insulation energy star rated windows. It was a very competitive bid so I placed the order. The windows came about 1 week later and the install started a week or so after that. It was August so I told them the sooner the better and they were able to accommodate me. I had 18 windows and 2 sliding doors so it took 4 days for the install but that was mainly because my install crew were so adamant about doing the job correctly. Very impressed with those two guys. I would highly recommend Bob and BRL if you need windows. They sell a product that is highly rated, is a great value, and has a lifetime guarantee (that the company actually honors, I checked). BRL deserves 10 stars. We had an emergency and needed our door fixed ASAP. I called after their business hours but someone still answered, her name was Barbara. She listened to my concern and took my information down; at the same time I told her I understood it was after hours and would understand if they couldn't send anyone. She heard the worry in my voice and she informed me she would contact Josh to see if he can assist. God bless them, Josh called me back about 10 minutes later and told me he would be able to help me but it will be around 10-11 at night since he had to other emergencies he needed to get to. I felt bad he had to work so late but he assured me that it was okay. I loved his great attitude over the phone. He arrived a little after 10pm and started doing his work. He didn't complain or even had a bad attitude after being up since 5am. I really applaud him for working so hard. He did a great job. We may have paid higher in the price but it was all worth it. Where do I start. I couldn't be more happy with my entire experience with BRL. I am so happy I could use a local business rather than a big box store and see what a business that cares about its reputation is all about. My wife and I bought a forty year old house with single pane windows and doors with huge gaps and frames cracked. We replaced every window and every door in the house, including a front door they specially fabricated for us. The quality of the work was impeccable. I couldn't be more satisfied. Let me join the chorus of people who are saying that BRL's is a great company. We needed to replace about half the windows in our house, and got bids from multiple contractors. (One was so high-pressure and scripted that we had to ask him to leave; another was fine, but his bid was laugh-out-loud high.) BRL was no-nonsense: their representative came to our home as scheduled, measured our windows, made some product recommendations, and sent us a detailed bid very quickly. Not only was it extremely reasonable, I really felt all through the process like I was getting personal attention from a family company. The installation went very smoothly, even though the installers had to custom trim all the windows on site, when it turned out that none of our frames were square. There was no damage to our exterior stucco, and our inside shutters weren't a problem. They were meticulous in the install, and the finishing work is outstanding. Throughout the installation they kept everything clean and tidy, and the end result is better than we could have anticipated. The quality of the Simonton windows is great--our kitchen is virtually silent when they're shut. In case you can't tell, I couldn't be happier with BRL's Windows & Doors: from the initial visit to the installation, they were professional, thoughtful, and highly efficient. We just had a beautiful custom French sliding patio door with grids inside the glass installed which has made an incredible difference in our front room decor. Wow! It truly is beautiful!! Bob, our sales rep, was fabulous to work with. He explained in detail everything we needed to know about the installation, and after we explained what we wanted, he was extremely helpful in assisting us in our decision in selecting the door and grid design. He was very thorough and explained everything in detail. We received the estimate a couple of days after we met and not only were we pleased with the price, but he also included a diagram showing how our custom door would look. The sculptured grids we chose are actually inside between the double paned glass which allows for easy cleaning of the glass. The guys who did the installation were absolute perfectionists, efficient, knew exactly what they were doing, took the time to explain to us the locking system, and answered questions we had. There was virtually nothing to clean up afterwards either. Needless to say, we are quite pleased with BRL and we are confident in recommending them to our family and friends. The entire experience was pleasant and easy. This second review is for three new decorator windows I just had installed. I decided to have these double-paned dining room windows installed with grids (panes) and they look fabulous! They have a white frame around them and are a welcome addition to our dining room. I called this company for a window and patio door replacement. The front desk lady took my number and said somebody will call me at the end of the week, probably Thursday or Friday. Thursday and Friday came and nobody called the whole day. So I called them Monday of the following week and nobody was answering. We recently moved into a 50+ year old home that still had its originally windows; nonfunctional, single pane, lead windows. We needed new windows, bad!! We originally met with the big box companies and were not happy with the products they were selling and the customer service from one of the companies. Based on Yelp reviews, my husband and I decided to give BRL a call. We called Friday afternoon and had an appointment the next day. Wayne and Steve (I think that's his name) showed up, looked at the windows and measured. I liked that they both came to look at the windows because Wayne is the the owner and also an installer. In my experience with with the big box companies, they sent a sales guy out who didn't know much about windows. Having Wayne there, we were able to ask him specific install questions. We live in an older, brick home and wanted someone with experience. Sure enough, Wayne's installed several windows in our neighborhood, including my neighbor's windows. Wayne's knowledge put us at ease. On Monday, we met to review the quote. This was the 4th quote we had received and was by far the most reasonable quote. We did our research and decided we wanted a Simonton window. The quote was for 9 higher quality Simonton replacement windows. When I saw the quote from BRL, I was relieved. Not only were we getting a high quality window, we were using a local company with lots of experience for an extremely reasonable price. I'm not saying that they were the cheapest, because they weren't. But, they were the most reasonable. One of the big box stores also sells Simonton and quoted us several thousands more for an entry level window. It was a no brainier, we were going with BRL. Once we signed, we were given a timeline of 2 weeks. The windows arrived early, Friday instead of Monday, and after BRL inspected the windows, they gave the green light. I called on Saturday and explained to Wayne that we were hoping to have them installed Wednesday because we would both be home. Even with the short notice, they worked with us and did the install Wednesday. The installers came out at 815 and worked until about 530/6. They worked hard and were very knowledgable! Even chatted with all the neighbors that stopped by to see the windows. After the install they stayed to answer any questions and reviewed the warranty information. I have to say that working with BRL was a great experience. We originally turned to them out of frustration from dealing with the big box companies. I wish I hadn't wasted so much time and had just gone straight to BRL. Not only do they carry great products, they have knowledgeable employees with wonderful customer service and all for a reasonable price. A huge thank you to Wayne and Chris from BRL! I bought a second refrigerator that was to be stored in my pantry. I took all the measurements, ordered the fridge, and when the Loews guys came to install...it wouldn't fit through the pantry opening. I measured everything but the entrance way. Genius, I know. I searched around on Yelp and found some good reviews about BRL's remodeling work. I called and Wayne, the owner, spoke with me on the phone. Wayne came out to the house and did the initial estimate and Chris was sent out to do the work a few days later. Chris was so nice and professional. He even took the refrigerator doors off for me to assist with getting the fridge in to the pantry. He removed a piece of the wood trim from the pantry doorway in order to get the fridge in, replaced the trim, put the fridge doors back on, and after all was said and done, the pantry doorway looked virtually untouched. The cost to do the job was only $150 ($75/hour for labor). I will definitely be contacting BRL again for any remodeling needs I have in the future. read more

One was so obnoxious high pressure sales I had to tell the kid he was getting offensive and sent them on their way. They were the most expensive. Then from a big box store for the exact same Simonten windows we had installed by BRL but cost was way higher with HD. We also just liked Bob a lot. A wide variety of options was shown to her, estimate was received in a timely fashion. The installers Jonathan and Shane arrived to do the install and they took such care of my mother, her needs, the home. They were so professional, she felt very safe with them. They encountered a problem with the structure and they not only worked through it, there was no change to the estimate, the install looked so beautiful, there was not trash left in my home, they showed me everything to do. I'm shocked to read Scott M.'s review below! I have used BRL on seven occasions over the last three years to replace our sliding glass door and several windows. Work has included the pulling out of our old sliding glass door to replace it, removing a garden window over the kitchen sink, and replacing it with a standard window. We have also had five large windows replaced, including two second-story windows. They do have an office, and a showroom in Boulder City where we visited to look at styles for our patio door. We have always been satisfied with our service from beginning to end. Since I'm not a "successful businessman," we have replaced our windows one at a time as funds have allowed, and our salesman, Bob, is always accommodating with regard to meeting us for our estimates. He offers great advice on safety and energy efficiency and does not try to oversell. He has been out on weekends, and I think even a Sunday! The price on the invoice (a copy of which is ALWAYS provided) is always manageable, and the order time is always well within the time quoted. Trevor and Mike, our install guys, have been extremely prompt and neat when working. I have recommended this company to friends who have also been happy with their service. I can't say enough good things about this company and I will continue to use them in the future! read more

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! The sales guy Bob promises you the world, goes on and on and on how great and reputable they are and how they only use the best quality products and then talks garbage on all the other companies. Well I tried them, installed 4 large windows and a huge slider door, paid 10% more than the other bid and then 1 hour after the installer completed the job, 2 of the windows trim just came apart from the wall revealing the huge gaps between the frame and the wall, looks just hideous. I called Bob the next day, reported the issue and he said it would be fixed. 5 days later, still nothing, no calls. Then Bob calls and wants the final payment, I said not till the job is completed and I can pay the installer right after he finishes fixing the trim pieces that basically fell off. He said that was no good as the installer is quitting and no telling if he ever goes back to their shop. Anyhow, Bob goes off on me saying he can't believe I am holding off $3300 final payment over just a few trim pieces that are hard to do and very tricky. I explained why would I pay when the job is not completed as promised. I am paying over $6,000, for a job that currently is terrible and I would be embarrassed to show anyone, and yet he just admitted their installer is quitting, if I pay, I may never get my job fixed, did I look that stupid???? I have remodeled over 20 homes, anyone or company that yells at clients trying to intimated to get their final payment before the job is completed is a company that is not reputable, honest or professional. I made crystal clear to Bob, complete the job, with the quality you sold me on and the check is right there and he continued to berate me wanting the money before fixing my windows. BTW, this is a million dollar 1 acre home in Vegas, not a junker, and I'm a very sucessuful businessman so there is no reason anyone would think I would not pay, that is not the issue here. And to top things off, I have asked 4 times for a copy of the invoice to be emailed to me and nothing, and Bob keeps saying it was the quote they gave me at the begining, but I told them I tossed it thinking I was getting a proper invoice, not a hand written quote/invoice thing. After reading many reviews here, I had the personal pleasure of speaking to Mike, concerning a window that cracked and I wanted to get it replaced. After giving him the details, (windstorm and my window cracked) he referred me to another company who would be better suited to complete the job as a "window replacement was not needed". They explained everything step by step and went over the finished product with us before they left. My windows are gorgeous and energy efficient. At first, I actually wanted to put the the solar screen back on one of the windows, until I saw how beautiful it was without it. The windows are so energy efficient you don't need a solar screen for them. We used the first two windows to try BRL out and see if they were a company we could trust.
