I really wanted to like these guys, but they kept our computer for over a month (with several calls - some returned in a timely way and others ignored) and when they finally diagnosed the problem as being basically unfixable - we asked them to put it back the way they found it. The head guy ended up having to fix it after one of the junior guys put it back together wrong - in doing that he found the problem and fixed it (so the diagnosis was wrong). Still got charged for the diagnosis - but offered free data transfer. We didn't take it - but we got the computer home and the battery was not working at all! There was obviously something that wasn't put back together right. More calls, no response. Update 2018: apparently under new management so I can't speak to the current owners. My laptop stopped turning on, so I took it to BRM to see what the problem was (on Thursday). The young man who helped me was very nice (although he couldn't find the receipt/ticket book and just gave me a scrap of paper with the phone number on it) and told me that he would try to call on Saturday or shortly thereafter with an update. Saturday came and went, so I called and left a voicemail on Wednesday. No response. Called and left a voicemail on Friday. No response. Called on Saturday and left another voicemail and texted the number and finally had my call returned by the owner with an update on my computer, but no price estimates or any real information. He said that they were looking for a replacement part, so I gave them a few days and then called on Wednesday (almost 2 weeks after I dropped off my computer) for an update and left a voicemail. No response...what a surprise. Finally, today (Friday), I called and left another message and texted and was contacted by the owner again, this time with some estimates, but no leads on a replacement part yet. I don't blame them for not being to find a part, but I was upset by the poor customer service and lack of communication, so I decided to pick up my laptop and take my service elsewhere. However, the owner was very understanding and did waive the diagnostic fee, which I appreciate greatly. In general, everyone who I met or spoke to was very nice, but it was nearly impossible to get in touch with anyone and there was a serious lack of communication. If the part had been available to fix my laptop, I'm sure they would have done the repairs well, but their customer communication needs some work. read more

All throughout college he fixed my computer promptly to make sure I had it on time to do school work, and kept me informed every step of the way. Most importantly, you will never be overcharged! I called to have a key replaced on my keyboard and the man who answered told me to send them a picture of my laptop model number so he could order the replacement. He said it would take about 5 days to get in, but he would have a better estimate when he knew what kind of keyboard I had. That was the last time they answered my call. Keep in mind I needed the key replaced quickly because I was taking the bar examination the week following. I called the next day to confirm that he had received the photo, and no answer. I called the day after to try and get someone, and no answer. I called the day after, and still nothing. They have not responded to the voicemail I left, returned my call, or answered their phone since my first conversation with them. Ben Martin is male hustling trash. He purposely cheated me and took advantage of me because of my social economic status as he did with other people in 2012-2015. He damaged my laptop then tried to over charge me to fix what he or his staff did wrong to my computer. I did not pay the fee because I I was under distress felt something odd and was going on with him and felt he may have been scamming me. He and I later made an agreement to give me a new computer in the same good condition as mine. He was hard to contact about this agreement and would find reason to blame me for his lack of contact to take the responsibility off of him. Finally, this dirt ball gave me a defective computer that overheated with virus software on it which infected my files. I called Ben immediately and left messages and this piece of shit has never fixed my computer and has avoided me. He also had issues with following up with calls & contacts about the status of the computer and had excuses even when you called him based on his 3pm-9pm schedule of his office but then would deflect and derail to try to blame you when he did not stay on top of contacting you back. read more
