Google Maps estimated it would taken ten minutes; he drove for twenty-five minutes, going past the Amtrak station on the freeway, getting off, and then taking surface streets back to it. Oh, and he charged me for every minute of it. When I pointed out he was going the long way, he turned off Google Maps. I called the cab company to complain, and got nothing. The good news is that Uber and Lyft will eventually drive companies like this out of business.

I was already dealing with a tough time but to be ignored pissed me off. One thing I will not do is beg any business to take my money. I contacted another local moving company that was excellent.
