5 stars isn't enough for the experience I had at Elite Finish this week. After getting sideswiped by a minivan last Saturday, I brought my VW GTI in on Monday hoping they could buff out the tire marks left on my car. The team got to work right away and gave it a real effort -- but in the process, they discovered something I never knew: my car (purchased brand new in 2019!) had apparently been repainted at some point before I bought it, which made the job much more complicated than a standard detail could handle. Rather than cut corners or give me a mediocre result, they were completely upfront with me and explained that an auto body shop would be better equipped to do the job right. They even recommended a nearby shop they trusted. Here's the part that really got me: after all that time and effort, they didn't charge me a single dollar. I was already stressed from the accident, and the kindness I was shown here genuinely made my day better. This is a team with real integrity -- they care more about doing right by their customers than making a quick buck. Elite Finish is next level. I went from driving a 13-year-old Infiniti SUV to rolling around in a fully protected, fully transformed 2025 Porsche Cayenne Coupe that makes me feel like I just pulled up to a movie premiere. Seriously. IM SO STOKED! Elite Finish hooked me up big time. I got full-body PPF, UV tint on the windshield in clear, front window tint 20% matching the rear ones, interior coating on all surfaces to fight off life's little messes, and my calipers paint-matched Montego Blue. It was Kevin's idea to paint match them. They look so good it almost feels illegal! The total was $10,700--and worth every last penny. The Porsche dealership tried to sell me 8k PPF but just the front impact areas. I'm so glad I turned them down and did my own research. I actually found Elite Finish on ChatGPT, which I'm using for this review to make sense of my word vomit. Kevin was my main guy and he's a total pro. He broke everything down for me without ever making me feel dumb or out of place--which, as a woman walking into a high-end car shop, is not always guaranteed. I also got to chat with Braeden and he was equally awesome. These guys know their stuff and they care about every single detail. What really sold me? I visited Ceramic Pros down the street that morning and the vibe was high energy, Lots of guys working on several cars at once and a promise for quick turnaround. I examined some of their work closely and I noticed a lot of bubbles on a car they had wrapped along the seam line underneath. Maybe they didn't blow dry it yet but I didn't wanna see that at all. Another car looked brand new, but the PPF had a slight orange peel texture in certain lighting. The guy told me it was the paint job which I think he was kind of full of full of s**t. Elite Finish was the complete opposite: calm, precise, focused. My car was ready in about four or five days. I'd rather wait a little extra for absolute perfection. Their techs have been with them for over 15 years, they custom cut the PPF to your car and don't use pre-cut panels. They wrap underneath so you don't see any lines, and the finish is flawless. Their motto is "We love picky people," and as someone who literally removes hair permanently one at a time for a living, I felt spiritually seen. I'm an electrologist, so yes, I mean that literally. I'm super detail oriented and the slightest flaw would make me bummed out. Now I get compliments everywhere I go. My car looks SO good!! I feel like a badass, like a bougie badass movie star. I wanted to take some time to give deserved recognition to Kevin, Braedon and the entire team at Elite Finish. Company's of this caliber this are hard to find these days. I had a stellar experience with them on my first car I brought to them last year. I traded in that car for a Gen 2. Rivian recently and brought it over to them at Elite to do some work. They advised me of the terrible chemical stains all over the car upon delivery so we decided to do a full paint correction & ceramic coat to get the car looking new. Despite the terrible stains, the car looked flawless when I picked it up from Elite. A few weeks later, the chemical stains re-appeared out of nowhere on part of the car. The STEK PPF "track package" and ceramic coat/decontamination on the wheels left my brand new 2024 C8 looking better than it did in the showroom at the dealership. I can not yet comment on the durability of the product since it is new, but the install job was 5 stars. Research on repairing rock strikes to the front end paint job trade well with the cost of PPF on this particular model car - so for those that don't want to do the research I can definitely say it's worth it if you plan to keep your vehicle for some time, especially if you have a metallic finish that will be hard to blend at a paint shop. read more

On 6/27/2024 I brought my never-waxed 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee with 72k miles in for an exterior rejuvenation and their basic interior clean (vacuum & wipe down), which was included. My Jeep sat in the sun all-day everyday of it's life. Picked it up today and I swear it looks better than new! The paint is glassy smooth and glossy af. Being a grown car enthusiast with a new car, I immediately wanted to jump on tinting my car. However, after catching wind that I should probably prioritize the paint... I also started my inquiries about paint protection and tint. After talking to a ton of car people in the community, my friends recommended that I talk to Elite Finish. Somewhat knowing them from Cars and Coffee (a great event when it's going), I reached out to them via Yelp and talked to Wes and Kevin. Right off the bat, I felt like both Wes and Kevin understood my end goal and really connected when it came to understanding my needs as a consumer and enthusiast. I was super sold after Kevin invited me down to check out their shop, as well as a few in-progress vehicles... including one delivered. A customer picking up was absolutely raving about their workmanship and had insisted they were bringing their other vehicles in. I appreciated the transparency and really felt the customer's confidence in them. After tossing around some ideas, I received my quote - which was extremely fair and as expected. This review is a longtime overdue. I need to provide some context before getting to the crux of this review. I have a passion for cars, love what makes them great, love the flaws and as Doug Demuro would say quirks and features. I have not kept a car stock in over 20 years, and I love to build track and street weapons. I also want my car's perfect. I don't eat in them , and I don't drink anything except water in them. I wash my car by hand on the weekend. I work with companies who understand people like me, and I can be extremely demanding as a customer. In fact I'd probably say I'm a total pain in the a**. I got my 2014 GT500 Detailed here by Elite Finish. Wes and his team really took care of the car as I also got PPF. Other things I had done while the car was there was the removal of the black racing stripes and vinyl GT500 graphics on the side. I wanted a cleaner look. Wes cautioned me about the potential of "Ghost" stripes due to the year of the car and sun exposure. But I told him we can redo the stripes if it is too obvious. Dent removal was also done which is an available service if you need it. Paint Protection Film (PPF) was applied to the front bumper, fenders, hood and elsewhere. The install came out perfectly. Wes told me that while it cures, if I were to see anything I wasn't happy with, to bring it back immediately. Mustangs are notorious for having the black acrylic valence between the rear brake lights get scratched up. Wes and his team made sure to cover that with PPF for me and did a clean job around the GT500 emblem. My tail lights were spider webbed scratched pretty badly, they cleaned those up to a gloss finish. There was no sign of ghost flames except for the roof which Elite Finish made great work on to the point of not being noticeable. Turn around time was average and typical for a job entailing this much work. They house your car if you leave it overnight. It is never left outside. Instead of unpleasant surprises when picking up your car, Elite Finish gives pleasant ones that are not expected. You can't predict what they can't do here, it's like magic. read more

My husband and I went around Miramar and just took a guess as to who to go to. We came up with Elite Finish as this was the second place we talked to. Braedon was cool to talk to and honest about his suggestions not trying to upsell on anything. We just purchased a Model Y and needed to get it tinted as summer is heating up and I have a skin condition. The suggestion was to just tint the front windshield and the front side windows in the interim. I mean he went through a few questions us and made such a suggestion. We had the side windows match the stock passenger windows so 20%. The windshield we made the decision for more UV protection. We opted for the STEK NEK.He was cool about telling us we really honestly didn't need to do the roof glass but we can always come back and get it done if we feel the need to. I think that was cool given the first place we went didn't mention the roof glass technically already has some UV protection. They were able to schedule us in as we came within a good four hour window to get it done. Keep in mind you don't want to be opening and closing windows at the minimum 48 hours? I ordered my Tesla Model Y back in Oct 2020 and took delivery in Dec 2020. During the 2 months of waiting, I had a little too much time on my hand and fell into a rabbit hole of research on Tesla paint quality & issues, paint protection films (PPF), vinyl wraps, ceramic & graphene coatings, etc... you name it, I've read about it... Once I received delivery of my Tesla, I knew I had to take it to a shop to get paint correction and possibly PPF & ceramic coating done. It's fairly well known that Tesla paint quality is subpar and mine was no exception. I had plenty of swirl & buff marks all over the car. After a few weeks of research and calling shops for price quotes, I discovered Elite Finish through Ben Sullins's YouTube channel. I found Kevin to be very patient, professional, & personable. That's not very common these days when you call up a shop to get a price quote over the phone. Not once during the call did Kevin try to upsell me; he actually flat out told me that I would be wasting my money on a specific ceramic coating and suggested that I go w/ a lower costing alternative that would essentially do the same exact job. By the end of the call, I knew exactly where I was taking my Tesla (even though I lived 75 miles away in Orange County), so I scheduled the earliest available appointment which was about month out (that's how good they are; booked a month in advance). After a very informative call w/ Kevin, I decided to go with a full car paint correction, full car STEK DYNOShield clear PPF, STEK DYNOmatt center console wrap, CarPro CQaurtz Skin ceramic coating, IR clear tint for the windshield, and IR tint for the front & rear windows. The full job was quoted to take 7 to 10 days. I dropped off my Tesla on a Monday morning, and received it back the following week on Tuesday afternoon. During the drop off process, Kevin and I did a walk around the entire car going over each job that was going to be performed. When I picked up my car, it was more than what I expected. Not a single swirl mark, the car's paint looked like glass, and the shine was amazing! Pictures don't do it justice! About a month ago, I dropped off my white Model Y to get IR window tinting and STEK DYNOmatte paint protection film installed plus a ceramic coating. I'm very happy that I decided to make the drive to San Diego to have my Tesla worked on by Kevin and the team. Kevin told me that it would take 2 weeks before I would be able to pick up my vehicle but they were able to finish everything within a week and a half which worked out nicely for my schedule. The STEK DYNOmatte PPF came out looking great. The 'frozen' matte finish really complimented the white color. The difference between Elite Finish and other detail auto shops I've looked into, is that Elite Finish does a custom PPF installed while removing things such as the side tesla cameras, molding around the windows, and other plastic edging so the cut of the PPF would fit the vehicle perfectly. Other shops I called said they their PPF were pre-cut and they wouldn't need to take anything off during the installation which would leave certain areas exposed to the original paint of the Tesla. Since I've picked up my car, we had extreme hot temperatures of over 100 degrees and random thunder storms happen in Southern California during the past month. I had a recent trip to Joshua Tree National Park and the Model Y was completely covered in dirt due to the weather and environment I drove in. Elite Finish provided their WashMist Waterless Wash Kit and decided to try it out. I was skeptical on how well it would go since I'm used to the traditional car wash using your water hose and towels. I was surprised on how the waterless wash kit was so simple to use and the car turned out looking as clean as it did the day I picked it up from the shop. I never had IR window tinting installed in any of my previous cars. Living in California, we run the air conditioning in the house most of the day because of how unbearable it is outside. Elite Finish recommended the IR tinting to help with cooling down the temperature of the interior. I'm glad I went with the IR window tinting because it was very noticeable on how well it worked. Even when it was over 100 degrees, the leather seats were still comfortable to sit on after having the car outside all day.
