I'm in the area waiting for an appointment for my son to get a haircut. I turned the corner and saw that there was a pizza shop. I parked and saw that there was a sign that said lunch special so I asked for the two slices and a soda. The woman at the counter, put it in the system and ordered it, but then there was a gentleman who I'm guessing is the manager told her no that's only the lunch special then he pointed out the time so I said you know what I'll get it anyways when I went to pay, I realize that I only paid for two pizzas I was a little upset because I wanted a drink but I let it slide while I was waiting for my pizza to come out. I told them who I'm guessing is the manager that he should take down that sign that's outside that says lunch special if the lunch special is over because it's kind of deceiving because you see that sign from afar it's really big and he said no I don't have to take it down. I said well if the lunch special is over what's the point of having it he said no I am gonna leave it up. I said well can I order anything that's on there right now and he said no - I said so what's the point of having it up? He got upset with me and walked away, but another gentleman was working in their folding boxes he looked at me and kind of I could tell that he kind of agreed with what I was saying. The sign is pretty deceiving. The pizza is pretty good. The cheese tastes a little bland. The pepperoni is crispy and I like that very much. I was waiting at the door because I left my car door open, but the inside of the restaurant looked pretty nice. The manager needs to think about what he's doing. It's kind of tricky having that lunch special sign-up just to bring in the customers and then tell them no you can't order what's on that sign. It's pretty messed up.

I ordered dinner from this place on November 7th, 2016. Price was decent and delivery was right one time, according to the Grub Hub app prediction. This is what I ordered: Chicken alfredo pasta Plain pizza slices (2), which comes with garlic bread and salad. The Chicken alfredo pasta was good. I loved the sauce, it had a creamy, buttery flavor. But there was something about the chunks of chicken, not sure what it was. It was a sightly sour taste? Might have just been an off batch. But otherwise, it was really good. The portion was pretty generous too. Let's just say I was full. The salad was fresh, it had grape tomatoes, sliced black olives (most places do green, so that was different) and red onion over iceberg lettuce. They do have really good ranch dressing! I'm always picky about that. But there are other dressings to choose from too. I got 2 slices of their plain pizza (just cheese) because I like to try a pizza place's pasta AND pizza, if I can. But sometimes it's a budget issue, because not all places offer it by the slice, lol. They use good stretchy, bubbly cheese, the kind I like. Sauce is nice, its more savory but slightly sweet. Crust is good, done well and not soggy, burned or doughy. The garlic bread is actually garlic knots, and they are good. Nice distinct garlic flavor, which is what I expect. Garlic knots should never be bland. Based on what I've tasted, I would say it's a good place to order from. Although I feel like I really need to try more of their pasta dishes and a few other things, to really be able to make a ruling.

Ordered takeout and it was never delivered. I called the next day and they refused to refund my order.

When we stepped inside, we realized why, it felt authentic, local, and had a rustic charm to it. Nick was out in the restaurant greeting guests and talking to people. The menu was extensive and all the things we tried were delicious and had a homemade feel to them, like someone's nonna was back there cooking these dishes. The bread served was snapped up quicker than I could even take a picture, it tasted like European bread that I am so used to. The addition of olive oil to dip it in took me back to days growing up near quality Italian food like this. The marinara was rich in the flavor, and the chicken was tasty with a beautiful crumb. There was a choice of pasta so I opted for the pappardelle, for those, like myself, not in the know this is like a larger flat version of a linguine and is excellent to soak up extra sauce. 10/10. No notes.

My friend and I dined here for the first time on Monday evening. The food was delightful, and our server was both friendly and accommodating. We started with the mozzarella fritti. The mozzarella was fresh, lightly breaded, and topped with marinara sauce. For my entree I ordered one of their specials; Penne Key West. It's made with lobster, shrimp, scallops, crab meat, penne pasta, and pink vodka sauce. Yum! Seafood pasta is always my go-to if it's available. My friend ordered Penne alla Vodka and a side of meatballs. The vodka sauce had a good flavor, and the meatballs were juicy and delicious. All dinner entrees are served with soup or salad. We both chose Italian Wedding Soup. Nick's has indoor and outdoor seating. Pickup is available, but there is no delivery. Unsurprisingly, this close to NY you can find some great NYC style pizza places. This is amongst them and the addition of the Sicilian slice was welcomed to my order, a suggestion by the man at the counter. They have pizza, wings, calzones, Stromboli, burgers, cheesesteaks, hoagies, wraps, soup, salad, and even Mediterranean cuisine like gyros and falafel. This was my first time here, so I kept it simple. I ordered a large cheese pizza, hot wings, and garlic knots. The pizza was perfectly cut and tasted good. There was a nice crisp to the crust, but the rest of the pizza was floppy and greasy. The wings were great for a pizzeria. They were good quality, cooked perfectly, and had your typical hot sauce. The garlic knots tasted great, but were undercooked. There was no crisp at all. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience. The food was good, prices were reasonable, and the staff was super nice.
