Ordered from here about 30 mins before they closed. When we received our food, everything was great besides the meatballs in my spaghetti. The meatballs were mushy and had a weird flavor to them. I had someone else try them and they said the same thing. I didn't eat the spaghetti because I was worried about getting food poisoning. I decided to call them the next business day for a refund for the spaghetti and the man who answered the phone was extremely rude. He questioned why I didn't call last night (because they were closed after we received the order). He told me that the meatballs were made fresh by the owner for me and next time I place an order they would take the meatballs off. I even offered to bring the meal back to show them. This is extremely aggravating because I wasn't able to eat a meal last night and it wasn't just a loss from the meatballs but the whole spaghetti meal. Honestly, I would have given less than 1 star if I could. I ordered a chicken cheesesteak and a cheesesteak hoagie. The chicken cheesesteak wasn't chicken. That really wasn't that big of a deal to us. The real problem was the cheesesteak hoagie. When I unwrapped the sandwich, it didn't really look all that appealing, but nothing specifically wrong. Well, I got halfway through the sandwich and encountered a mass of burned grossness. It looked like they were scraping the grill and decided to make the cheesesteak meat right on top of the burned scrapings. You couldn't pay me enough to go back there. read more

So disappointing. My family used to order from here all the time, for over 10 years. The service has gotten so bad that we really don't go here anymore. There is one of their specialty pizzas that we've ordered dozens of times that is sometimes worth going through the bad service for, but they always get the order wrong (it's just one pizza!). Once they gave us a totally different pizza and we didn't notice til we got home, it was still good but annoying for $25. Well, today was the last straw. It's the third time they got the order wrong. I called in, was told it'd be ready in 20 minutes, i drive 20 minutes, he says I have to wait another 10 minutes, fine. After 25 minutes pass, he gives me the pizza and I walk to my car. I can smell onions overpoweringly, so I open the box and look. Definitely not the pizza I ordered. I go back in and get my money back. Never never never coming back, so sick of wasting my time here. No attempt on their part to do anything to fix the situation, didn't even apologize. read more

Food is good but the service absolutely sucks. Delivery 3 miles away can take anywhere from 45mins to an hour and a half. And that's at 9pm. Recently I called an order in for pickup. I get there and am told it'll take a few minutes. As soon as I sit down it comes out of the oven. 10 minutes later I'm told its ready. The two girls behind the counter were too busy to realize this because they were talking to other coworkers. When I went to pay I mentioned my pizzas were sitting there 10 minutes now and her reply was "I'm sorry, would you like to join our rewards club?" Extremely poor customer service. Nice cozy place, wonderful warm owners from Palermo, Italy. Would like the pizza sauce to have a little more flavor and the crust to be cooked a little bit more. Waited almost two hours for two pies and a 2-liter Coke. The delivery person happened to be the owner's/manager's son. He apologized and suggested I ask for a discount. He called in from his own mobile phone. His dad was incredibly rude. Told me to either pay or send the food back (in an incredibly-arrogant manner.) Meanwhile, I was calmed and surprised (the discount was not even my idea; and I asked nicely.) His son then took the phone and was able to give us a discount. He was very nice and apologized again for his dad. But I don't think I will ever call Mama's again -- or at least until the son takes over the business. Horrible customer service. Food is okay. Ordered a cheese pizza and a cheesesteak for pick up. Came home with a Stromboli and a cheesesteak. I called to tell them about the mix up and was asked "WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO DO ABOUT IT?" Like it was my fault they gave me the wrong order. I told him I just wanted to get the right order. And he said you bring back the Stromboli and I'll give you the pizza. I didn't even bother driving the whole half of a mile down the to get the right order. Called here bc of the whole wheat pizza crust... They don't carry it anymore so I asked for gluten free. It cost me $20 and was hard and gross. I don't recommend getting it. I love this place. I live in Northampton and they deliever to us. Just the plain ch. Pizza is fantastic. The chicken parm dinner is my favorite. It comes with bread and a salad and they aren't selfish with the portions so when we do order it my husband and I split the meal. I would def recommend the chicken parm. The cheese steaks are pretty good. Only thing I would do different is they don't put nearly enough cheese on there "cheese steaks" most places melt the cheese in with the meat ( best way) and others put the cheese on the bread and steak ontop but they just take a slice of American cheese, break it in half and lay it on top. Other then the change I'd make with the cheesesteaks the frys are kinda plain. Overall out of my stack of delivery menus this has been my go to place when I dont feel like cooking. The price isn't bad for what it is. If you want cheap Italian food go to your regular franchise pizza shop (dominoes, pizzahut, papa John's) if you want good quality food I recommend mama's. read more

Went to this place on a date with my boyfriend and it was not a very pleasant experience. The server I believe was the son or Grandson of the owner and he was very rude to us. He served us from behind dropping our plates and scaring me to death. He did the same with the water. He reached over my shoulder and said you cant make a mess here and picked up my straw paper and a sugar packet paper which I thought was very strange. When we ordered his whispered to his wife charge them so we paid up front other tables got there bill when they were finished eating. At the end of the meal we asked twice for a box to box up our pizza and when he came to the table boxed the pizza and then said to us did you pay! Wow I have never seen such discrimination in my life. The owner was not like this at all but I guess the son or grandson has a lot to learn about business management. Sorry but the pizza was great but we will not go there again and support this establishment. Treat your customers how you want to be treated no matter color, creed or religion. Delicious! My business ordered party trays to go from here for the first time. There was some confusion when we placed the order because we used an old website that had not been taken down. Since we already collected money from the staff, the owner very graciously accepted the lower prices, and added bread and extra salad dressing for free, The chicken Marsala was so tender it could be cut with plastic forks. Penne with vodka sauce was perfect, The meatballs were a generous size and so tender. Nobody was embarrassed to mop up the sauces with the bread. The salad was a work of art: freshly cut iceberg with ripe tomatoes, cucumbers, roasted red peppers, black olives, marinated mushrooms, and red onions. The balsamic vinaigrette we picked tasted homemade. Everything was delicious. Mama's Pizza III definitely made several new customers. I'm sure we will use them again next year, too. read more
