Pizza Chef restaurant is known for their really good pizza but it also has a nice dining room where they serve really good Italian food. We have eaten there many, many times and returned recently for dinner. The owner, who is extremely friendly, waited on us because the waitress was very busy with a large party. It's a BYOB so he brought us wine glasses & ice water right away and returned a few minutes later to take our order. I ordered the Chicken Francese which is served with Angel Hair pasta and comes with a house salad and homemade bread which he brought over a few minutes later. The bread was warm and very tasty. The salad fresh and crisp. The Chicken Francese was tender, juicy and delicious, some of the best I've ever had. I highly recommend this restaurant for really good food. read more

Tonight was an absolute nightmare here. I called to order and was told 35-40 minutes. I showed up at 40 minutes and the girl took my name and order that I was looking to pick up Three times then said 2 more minutes. After waiting 45 minutes total she checked again and said they didn't have my order they could make it and I could be next. I walked out. Terrible food. Spent over $60. First they charged me a couple dollars over what was in their menu. It's not about money, but integrity. The pizzas were all raw. I had to put it in my oven for 10 mins. Just horrible. If you like soggy, uncooked pizza do, then Pizza Chef is for you. The chicken dinner- well this tasted like it was 2 days old. Not moist or tender at all. After a few bites, gave it to my dog. He liked it. So basically it was dog food. I figure try a new local place but one of the worst I've had in years. This place has been around for years and always a place that I forget about when I am in the mood for pizza. However, in my opinion it is arguably some of the best pizza Easton has to offer. One thing I really like is their wide variety of different "designer" type pizzas that you can order as a personal pan. Normally places only offer these type of pizzas in a large size & for a ridiculous price, however pizza chef does not. The staff is always very friendly as well and the restaurant offers both takeout and dine in options. I have been to many Italian restaurants in my years, this one by far was the worst restaurant I've ever ate at. The food was cold and the young lady that served me was very short with me. Then after waiting a hour for a shrimp alfredo the young lady forgot my bottle of wine they took from me to open and never brought back. If I could give this restaurant no stars I would I would suggest paying attention to paying customers. read more

Ordered two large Italian subs to be delivered. Got the order and it was missing the pickle & chips. Was told chips & pickles don't come with large subs. Sorry, but that's not what the menu says. Won't be ordering from here again. Not because of a wrong order, but zero customer service and average at best subs. Should have ordered from Jersey Mikes. Little more in cost, but so much better. Pizza Chef doesn't give you what you expect. No pickle or chips and no apology for not providing what you pay for. Pros: Calamari was not crispy, but tastes good and was a good portion. Attribute crispiness to take out. Salad was delicious. Food was made quickly. Cons: Personnel looked displeased when I asked for more than one small container of crushed peppers for 3 people. The mussels and pasta we ordered was so bad, I couldn't eat more than one bite. The mussels went bad for whatever reason, so being cooked with the pasta caused the pasta to taste bad too. read more

My husband tried it today for the first time. Pizza was OK, but could have had more cheese. They advertised 1 large plain for $9.95. When he checked out they charged full price. They refunded all but $1.00 because they charged him for a small cup 1/2 filled of Parmesan cheese. Have never been charged elsewhere for this! I wasn't sure what to expect as I had never dined here before , but when I discovered a generous coupon on the ENTERTAINMENT coupon app I couldn't resist giving them a shot. The ordering over the phone and picking up was made smooth and easy by the sweet and attractive ROSALIA. She took my order with ease and had everything prepped and ready for me on time. We ordered the eggplant rolatini and lasagna ( see pics ) and they're clearly prepared by professional Italian chefs !! Every bite is heavenly with the freshest , tastiest ingredients prepared with love and attention. The included house salads are very tasty as is the half loaf of steaming Italian bread. I'm new to the area and was trying to find my go to pizza place, I've tried 6 places and none of them compare to this one! My boyfriend and I ordered the authentic Chicago soft pizza and we were both blown away. He's very picky with his pizza and he even was in love. When I pulled the first piece out it was like a commercial, a perfect looking pizza that tasted even better than it looked. We also ordered a lemon chicken salad, fries, and a regular cheese pizza. All of which were so good that I was honestly just so pleased to finally have found my go to. My daughter and I stopped there yesterday for her Birthday, with my 2 year old grandson. Well we ordered drinks, needless to say, my daughter wore my drink. **I can only base this on the pizza....however the run a pretty nice looking restaurant here. This establishment has been here more than a few years.....and many of the locals are aware of it's location. It's ok.....they made the pizza pretty fast....and the kids we had really liked the crust. This pizza is a bit thicker.....yet crispy. We were never unhappy (how's that for a double negative)....but this falls in the category of "baseline"....You will definately find worse out there....but there is a good chance you've had better. We were a group of 7 experiencing a first visit to this restaurant tonight. Everyone in the group enjoyed the excellent food and service. For myself, I had what turned out to be one of the best Frutti de Mare dinners I've ever eaten in the Easton area. Plenty of delicious seafood in a superb marina sauce atop a generous portion of linguine. And just the perfect amount of Fra Diovolo. Everyone else also enjoyed their choices which included personal pizzas, sandwiches, linguine with white clam sauce, chicken parmigiana, and chicken Marsala . Every dish was presented very nicely. Salads were crisp and soup was excellent. We will definitely make it a point to return here soon. read more

I am very disappointed in Pizza Chef. I haven't been there since the original owners. I used to brag about how it was the best pizza I've had around the area. I was hoping to find the same delicious taste in the pizza i recently ordered (new owners). Yuck!!! It was bland as ever, thick crust when i ordered thin crust and canned mushrooms instead of fresh, as advertised. It is a disgrace for the original owners to be bought over and a slap in the face to ruin their family recipe!!!! Worst experience. They would not honor a coupon but it wasn't a big deal. Waitress wasn't knowledgeable about the menu. When the food finally arrived my sister had a long black hair baked into her personal pizza. I understand it happens. Sometimes things happen. We told our waitress and nothing was done. We were charged $32 for a hairy pizza and steak sandwich that we couldn't eat because the hair made us nauseous. It would have been acceptable to take the pizza off of the bill at least. I ordered pizza from Pizza Chef through Grubhub delivery service. I was very disappointed. I ordered the thin and crispy pizza, but the crust was thick and chewy/soft, little flavor. I ordered fresh mushrooms (menu said fresh mushrooms), but they were canned, and also ordered Italian sausage and olives. There were barely any olives, and sausage was minimal (though I'm okay not having too much sausage). Pizza was loaded with too much cheese. Very mediocre!! read more
