Unfortunately there is no website or printed paper schedule so... it's very very very tricky signing your kids up for lessons if your trying to coordinate your family's activity schedule. If you have other siblings activities you will have to sign up for dance first and build all the other activities around this schedule. You don't even know the days until you sign up and they verbally tell you. If your kids want to dance for fun this is a great school. One suggestion for the landlord and all the other store owners on that block of stores: the parking lot drop off pick up situation is horrible and dangerous. There needs to be a single one way in and out of the one lane parking lot, a traffic light or a stop sign would be help and if everyone could stop double parking that would be so nice. I have to park 2 blocks away to avoid the insanity and car accidents. I do love that my kids had fun in a nice environment and learned how to dance. The teachers are very good with the kids and the annual recital is very long but well organized.

One place listed as offering "sliders" served only a single (scrumptious) slider, and another spot listed as offering a "choice of two tacos or a margarita" informed me when I arrived that they weren't offering the margarita after all. I thought the offerings were pretty fair, just wish the list had been a bit more accurate. While I wouldn't recommend Tastes of Brooklyn to someone looking for a "good deal", it wasn't a bad way to share a walk and various foods with a friend while supporting Seeds in the Middle.

So my husband surprised me with tickets because he knows how much I love Broadway shows. Some of the standouts of the night were- the singing and the use of the screens. The actors & vocalist did a great job, really no weak links, they were clear, they projected all the way up to the balcony, and they carried a strong stage presence. The stage was set up in a specific way for the entire show but the screens helped to enhance the scenes by projecting different images to suggest a change in setting, making it a lot more interesting to watch. Some songs resonated more than others, solely because of the weight of the message they possessed. Overall, very talented artists on Long Island that we enjoyed watching use their gifts to bring joy to others. It didn't have to be perfect to be of great substance. I will note that they loosely interpret biblical events throughout the show, especially toward the end, so a few scenes might make you go huh, but as artists, they truly made it their own. It's nice to offer Broadway-like shows close to home, and to support the arts within our communities.

I also sat right under the projection booth, so the whirling can be distracting but I thought it was also pretty cool. But the seats are very comfortable. I'm not sure about if the film screen quality is really that much different for IMAX, but i did appreciate the sound quality and overall cleanliness of the space. Overall, I realize the tremendous privilege of living near a theater that even has the IMAX 70mm screen. The theater was clean.
