We will never come to this golf course again after the way we were treated by the staff. My boyfriend and I set up a T time to golf, we drove a hour and the attendant at the desk was incredibly rude refused to look me in the eye and refused to let us start on the course even though we had a T time set. We will never be coming back to this course as well as spreading the word to every single person we've ever golfed with and know to never come to this course because of the way this condescending man treated us. I feel absolutely disgusted with his attitude and customer service skills and I have never felt like I needed to make a review like this until now. read more

Broadlands is a very nice course that I enjoy very much. However, if you are looking to play on Busy days. The time management of the course is poor. You can expect 6 hours pace of play for 18 holes. Also, full refunds are not available. read more

Awesome course. Really great layout and course design, conditions, and overall facilities. However, I played today and the pace of play was atrocious. We had a 3:32 tee time and upon arriving we were told they were "18 minutes behind". We teed off around 3:50 and did not finish our round until 8:30. Every hole had at least one group waiting on the tee box. For a solid course with great management, 18 holes should not take 5 hours out of someone's day. Came here with two relatives to golf on a cold damp Saturday morning. The guy taking money was pleasant and quickly rang us up and sent us to the starter for cart assignment and waiting for the group in front of us. Tee time was Adhered to and off we went. They must be a little tight with times, since holes 3 through 18 we waited in every hole. Course is well maintained and greens are super fast, but true. The weather was tough, being in the upper 50's, but we got through in 4 hours and 45 minutes. I would golf here again. read more

Broadlands has been my "go-to" golf course for years. I really enjoy the layout and scenic views. They somehow maintain pretty good greens and fairways even with many subpar golfers hacking up the course. If you book online, you can usually get a better deal than if you call the pro shop. I will continue to frequent this golf course at the rates they currently have. The only negative is they probably have more tee times than they should. On the weekend the time of play can get a little high. read more

My daughter held her wedding and reception here last Saturday. Everything was wonderful. The ceremony was outside with views of the golf course. The reception was inside right next to the ceremony spot. The room looked great and has high ceilings and a dance floor. Kim Jacobs and the rest of the staff were a pleasure to work with. Everyone far exceeded expectations, helping organize and decorate and even clean up. The food was fantastic, we got a lot of compliments on the food and venue. Additionally their prices are very reasonable for both the food and the bar packages. We did the premium buffet with 3 entrees and 7 hours open bar, appetizers and late night pizza and still came in under budget. Highly recommend this for your wedding. read more

Course is fine. Well maintained. Fescue grows crazy starting in early summer. Needs to improve its customer service. Visited on Father's Day with my two sons. For 3 golfers, the fee was over $200. When I said that the online price was $50(ish) per golfer, two employees behind the counter conferred and then said my son phoned in so the price was higher. Not sure why and given that it was Father's Day, I thought the answer was tacky. Then they allowed a foursome ahead of us, who had NO reservation. Who said, greed is good? My daughter got married here and from the very start they were VERY helpful. They were flexible with what my daughter wanted and they made great suggestions. When the day came the room was set up and ready and at the end they never rushed us out the door. Called Thursday to schedule a tee time on a Saturday at 12:30. There was a high school match in the morning where I first heard about when I got there on Saturday. Hit a bucket of balls and went to the 1st tee at my tee time. Ranger was very rude and said I had to wait to be called as the match was still going on. Waited till about 1:00 patiently at the practice green and employee came out and offered money back and a hot dog. We ended up getting money back and a complimentary 9. Communication was awful and ranger was very rude. read more

So a few friends and I play out here a few times a year, not members, but always look forward to it. Played today at $54/round, which btw isnt terrible considering previous experiences which have been great. (I would have paid $60-75) So we tee of on the first hole and see these weird orange flags and tee box markers in the fairways..... wondering to ourselves what the hell is this about, but ok... it/s still the Broadlands. Next tee box we run into a group of 4 guys kicking around a soccer ball to the orange flags in th efairway. Great.... foot golf at one of the nicer courses.... The front nine after waiting for the kids to finish kicking around the ball was about 2.5 hours. While I get they may be attempting to get more revenue (it's a business after all), and they may be atempting to get a more younger crowd into the game, a little heads up would be nice when you make your tee time . If we had known there would be kids kicking a soccer ball into the ponds, we would not have booked there and paid $54/round. We would have just played another round at Morningstar for $41, without the kids being morons. We will obviously try this course again but will ask if this footgolf thing is going on. Because if it is, it is nowhere near worth the price or worth the hassle of booking a tee time. Not saying that the footgolf thing is a bad idea, but it is really not a good idea to mix regular golfers and the footgolfer tee times as it's pretty miserable for the people that don't pay $15 to kick a ball around. Bartender Megan was fantastic as always. I understand this is a new thing but it relaly does suck for people that actually enjoy golfing. read more

First time golfing at Broadlands. Loved the layout of the course. For a links course, the fairways are very forgiving and if you do end up in the rough, you still will most likely have a play on your ball. The scenery around the course is very nice and for early October the course was still in good condition. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Can't wait to play this course again next year even if my drive is about an hour away. read more
