The greens are always in fantastic condition, and the entire property is truly a hidden treasure. But what really sets Woodland apart is the people. Every time I stop in to grab my cart key, I'm greeted by Angel. She is genuinely one of the highlights of coming to this course. She works incredibly hard, always has a smile on her face, and makes everyone feel welcome. On our most recent visit, we decided to add another nine holes. The weather took a turn, and I was debating whether to play because I was so cold. Angel actually offered me her jacket. That kind of kindness and hospitality is rare these days, and Woodland is lucky to have her. (And as a bonus, she makes an amazing Bloody Mary!) This is one of my favorite courses to play, and Angel is definitely part of the reason why. Beautiful course, great atmosphere, and outstanding service. Highly recommend!

It's right on the lake, very well groomed, and some might say an easy course! Haha. It's still a challenge for me! There's one water trap, so use an old ball, but other than that, the holes are pretty straight on without obstacles. I also enjoyed the barbecue wings; they were meaty and the sauce was generous. When food started to run low, staff were quick to respond and the kitchen seemed up to the task as the buffet was replenished as quickly as it seemed possible. I was very impressed. I don't drink very often, and this night was no exception to my general rule, but I did sip my friend's tropical cocktail, and found it worth every penny because it was strongly alcoholic and very refreshing. Everyone in the large group I was there with seemed to enjoy the golf aspect of the evening. This was my first experience with a place like this, and it was fascinating to to watch. I've played mini-golf there several times, and some of the holes are pretty challenging, which keeps the course interesting. Pay for mini-golf in the pro shop. Sometimes they give you a ticket to take to the hut next to the mini-golf course, and you check in and get your putter there. Otherwise they give you the putter and scorecard in the pro shop. I've also used the driving range a few times. You walk into the pro shop to buy whichever size bucket of balls works for you, and head out to the range. The pro shop has what you would expect, and often offers fittings with specific club manufacturers. Check them out!
