I wouldn't advise anyone to buy a car of these people . My daughter a college student bought a 2008 Subaru with reasonably low miles . With in a few weeks the brake lines had to be replaced . Next the passenger front bearing had to be fixed . Next a section of the exhaust had to be replaced . Next one of the front shocks had to be replaced and now the transmission is on the way out and it could cost more than the car is worth . So I hope potential car buy see this and take your hard earned money ego to a reputable dealer and not a back street junk car dealer . Took my car here to get an inspection. Car failed the first time for my e brake. I brought my car to my mechanic to fix the e brake, which he did, along with my rear brakes. Cost me $700.00. I went back to Broadway Auto for my inspection and the guy working on 9/10, tried to tell me my e brake was still bad and wasn't holding at a 16, which according to Mass state inspection laws, needs to hold at a 12. The guy was beating on my car, by dragging it, first of all and argued with me until I wouldn't let it go. I will never, ever go back, nor will any of the people I tell about this. As a Mass state inspector myself, I will be speaking to the head of MAC operations tomorrow. The RMV will be paying a visit. read more

Do not buy a used car from this dealer. We spoke with Jay by phone to arrange to drive a used 2008 vehicle this Saturday 3/8. We drove from our home an hour away this AM, to be told by a mechanic on duty that the car we were interested in had been sold on Friday 3/7. This was my second time going to this place and it was a very disappointing experience to say the least. I came in Tuesday afternoon and made an appointment for 8am Thursday morning. I was told I would get a call around 10 or 11am on Thursday about what they found and talk about how to go forward. I never received a call on Thursday. I finally called at 4pm and they told me it was spark plugs and plug wires and gave me a quote but that they wouldn't be able to fix it until the next morning... So, I gave them several hours Friday morning and finally called at 11:30am. My car was not done. They finally called me at 12:15pm saying that the car was finished but there may be other issues. When I picked up my car I was obviously upset and asked what was the purpose of making an appointment. The owner didn't seem interested in keeping me as a customer because he didn't have any explanation for why it took 28 hours to change spark plugs and wires. I'll try to be as short as possible, but my experience here was horrible. I sent my car (which was in great condition i have to add) in on a Wednesday for a simple diagnostics for my check engine light. Usually this takes a day. I get no call the following day and finally Friday i had to call for someone just to say what they found and that it'll take til Monday to fix. Ok no problem. Monday comes and i have a missed call from the shop. Call back just to get told they called by mistake. I ask for the owner to call me back. No reply for the rest of the day. So Tuesday comes and i called 4-5 times trying to get someone on the phone. Finally the guy tells me they can put her back together and i can come get her. I get to the shop, waited for 20 mins and then for the guy to say he only fixed part of the problem and there needs to be more work. Ok no problem. We take her home and she struggles to turn on, but i didn't think too much of it. Later that day, i start ther car up, and she hesitates and is making a loud whirring noise. Not ok. Then today my husband is getting ready for work, and the car refuses to turn on. I gave these people my car in good condition just to get it back in worse shape. just purchased a used mini van from Masou at this dealership. I found this shop to be friendly , very reasonable and willing to help answer any questions honestly . Above all they are mechanics and know cars . They went over the van before the sale , they check it out thoroughly , fixing anything they saw ( in my case a ball joint and check of the timing belt , small bumper problem ) , when I picked it up they drove it to give it one last check up . These are the people you are looking for to buy a used car or to have work done . When I was there it was packed with people who had heard about how good they were . After being a loyal customer for years since I first got my license; these guys tried to get one over on me by charging me almost $200 not counting labor, for a $60 part (a basic o2 sensor) that probably took 10 minutes to install [heck I could have done it myself if I had any tools] they then tried to charge me double on the labor fee $100 instead of just $50 while I walked home to double check the price of the part (not that I told the owner whose there most days and in charge of the place that, I told him that I was just going to talk it over with my aunt while the car was parked safely behind the shop) on my computer because the owner said "well we weren't sure if you wanted it so we took it back out and put the bad one back in so if you want it you'll have to pay another labor fee for the time to put the part back in" so they basically tried to extort me. I really just can't believe these guys if this is how they treat their regulars just think what they'll do to your pocketbook if I could I'd give them no stars :( read more
