Hello Good Afternoon, I don't know who runs the business but the people who work there are a liability to peoples safety, You ask them about specific tires that you need. They WILL NOT GIVE YOU THE RIGHT TIRE SIZE. They have you pay for your tires before they hand you the keys. They think people are STUPID PLEASE DOUBLE CHECK YOUR WHEELS before paying these people. I told the manager the bigger sized white dude that works there and sits in his desk right behind the counter to the left . I told him I needed a specific size when I called and they said they had it and everything was smooth all until I went to leave and I saw the wrong tire size on my car MIND YOU WITH NO WARNING IF SO I WOULD'VE JUST WENT SOMEWHERE ELSE, so I go back inside and speak to the bigger sized white dude and told him those tires aren't gonna be good for my car because they need a specific setup cause I know my car and have been through this before and he said I'll be fine that he knows what he's talking about all that bs . I told him OK we'll see and if it doesn't work correctly because my vehicle is AWD , I AM COMING BACK I went yesterday 7/6/2026 for the 2nd time because my car wasn't driving correctly and it was because of the tire size being wrong like I had already told them. They put the correct size all of a sudden,I got there at 3:00pm they took 2 HOURS to change MY 2 TIRES in the back When I was the only person there, they spent all that time trying to cover up there dirty business Because I checked my wheels when they closed they handed my keys at 5pm closing time. Anyways there was A BIG HOLE ON MY TIRE SIDEWALL YOU COULD HEAR THE AIR COMING OUT OF THE WHEEL AND IT WAS RIGHT IN YOUR FACE They spent all that time because they tried to glue the whole and it didn't work and they tried to hide it from me. they close at 5pm they didn't saying anything about wheel having a hole they didn't say we didn't have a tire nothing no communication. i spoke to one of the workers light skin curly hair. He said there nothing we can do, we are closed "all of our workers are gone" . So then I had to drive the car while there was A HOLE IN MY TIRE to another tire place and PAY OUT MY OWN POCKET AGAIN FOR THERE MISTAKES or else I was going to be stranded without a car or better yet get into a crash because of these peoples dirty business. WHERE'S THE COMMUNICATION? THATS A LIABILITY I could've got into a really bad car crash and it would've been all there fault, Now on 7/7/26 I return back to get my REFUND because my services weren't met from the beginning and I was lied to through the whole thing and NOW they are saying they aren't liable and they give no refunds even though all of it was BS from the beginning on there part, Because these are trashy people And they do dirty work DONT GO THERE. Every time my husband and I ho to get a tire their is always something else that needs to be done t o our car..we go for 1 tire and end up with two then they say breaks are bad even when you just had them done.. Ty rods they say say that they are bad and if you dont get them done right then they with break and they will charge 3x the amount your local mechanic charges you..Umm.. guess what went to our local mechanic and its minute and is charging us much less to fix it.. The staff is decent and friendly. But the cost of repairs just go higher and higher. And they always come back saying something more is wrong. And then you end up having to bring the car back several times because the work they do for sound or vibration or check engine lights just don't last. And even the print out of services doesn't list any warranty at all. So then you have to haggle with them and hope they do the repair correctly this time. read more

These guys are great, and for me the professional, reliable, service at an affordable cost is worth traveling 40 miles for. I didn't need an appointment and they didn't need my vehicle for 3 + days. I will return, my front end ,brakes and rear suspension are all better thanks to Mike and the Crew. had a suboptimal experience at an automotive service center named Used Tire Maxxin Chicopee, Massachusetts. I had taken my vehicle to have its front tires changed early in the morning, in preparation for a crucial appointment in Boston on behalf of my daughter. During the drive to Boston, I became aware of unusual shaking and vibrations in the front tire, and promptly informed Tired Max of the matter, requesting immediate attention. The service center acknowledged my concern and advised me to bring the vehicle in at my earliest convenience. When I brought my vehicle to the facility, a service employee drove the vehicle on the highway, and upon return, informed me that the reason for the issue was a dent in the rim. I explained to the manager that my vehicle had previously operated seamlessly, and that the issue appeared to have arisen following the tire change. In response, the manager postulated that the problem could have been caused by an external event that occurred after my departure from the service center. This explanation did not suffice, and the service center proceeded to install a new dent in the rear rim. The center also suggested a recommended location for me to have the damaged rim repaired, indicating that they were prepared to assist in this process. However, I made it clear to the service center that their response was unsatisfactory, and that I intended to pursue legal action to resolve the issue. read more

They talk down to women and will not own up to their mistake and instead blamed the customer

I've gotten service completed from them many times, from new tires, oil change, and brakes and rotor installation. However, my most recent visit was my last visit. This place takes advantage of its women customers and rips people off on many occasions. I recently got NEW brakes and rotors installed in my car about 2 months ago which cost $800.00. Then I started having issues with my brakes and my engine light came on so I came back and was quoted $500! And was told that my brake fluid was leaking and needed wiring as well as my brakes being bled. Not to mention when I told them that I would just hold off on the work, they stated I had to pay $90.00 for diagnostics which was not mentioned prior. The representative told me that should I decline the work, I would NOT BE CHARGED. Moral of the story is if you want to be ripped off, taken advantage of and finessed this is the place to come to. If you want REAL work completed and reasonable pricing and customer experience save yourself experience and go somewhere else. Shame on this place, has lost its credibility over time and now I see why. read more

My husband bought used tires last week it had to go back because one wasn't balanced . Now we go 2 hours away to the beach in 25 miles before we get to the beach all four tires split on the inside . Now to get tires on a Sunday in the middle of nowhere is going to cost $950 . We don't have a choice because we can't drive anywhere and we have the motorhome two dogs and three cats . -5 stars. My girlfriend got her tires changed from AT to Snow tires yesterday. This place forgot to put more than 5 lug nuts on her car and didn't tighten the rest and sent her on here way. She started driving until the shaking became obnoxious then pulled over to see these issues. After waiting on the side of the road staff came to where she was put on non original lug nuts and "tightened" them down. She then went to go to work today and had more issues with shaking so took it to a qualified shop which determined they never balanced her wheels and tires nor did they add counter weights. This place is an absolute mess and are playing with peoples lives the only reason I'm not going to Tire Maxx extremely pissed off in person because my girl friend does not want me to "embarrass her" but I will make sure everyone knows what a sh*t show it is. BUYERS BEWARE beyond horrified with my experience here. One of the worst situations I have ever been in when purchasing tires. I knew I would need four new tires and had visited four other local shops (3 of which were chains and chose not to go with them) and talked with each. Initially I thought the older gentleman who was at the counter was very nice, I thought their prices were fair (not awesome but fair), and had the piece of mind knowing the used tires would be "covered " under a warranty for 30 days and if I chose (which I did) to buy additional coverage they would be covered for one year.. so I opted to spend the extra $20 for a piece of mind. Sounds great right? WRONG.. on April 09, 2021 I bought 4 tires and paid for an alignment. I directly asked the heavy set gentleman with tattoos would the tires be all the same. He said no. I asked how would they be equal then? He said they will be all season tires with similar treads. He said "he would pick me the best ones". Once home I realized the front right tires tread was questionable and worn unevenly and had TWO PLUGS. I went back April 10, 2021 and pointed it out to the initial older gentleman and he said to come back in a few days and he would replace it because they had no more tires in my cars size. Monday April 12, 2021 I take the car on the highway expecting a great ride with the tires WRONG was not drive able over 60 miles an hour. The shaking from the back end was terrifying. I am now 60 miles from home. I had to find a mechanic to look at this car and what did he find? One tire on the back was a SNOW TIRE it said SNOW on it! There is no way a alignment was done he said.. I drove immediately back to Tire Maxx and again spoke with the older gentleman who really looked at me and said "they were fine and it was not a snow tire".. The only option was then to allow them to put four totally different tires on since NO REFUNDS... I take it on the highway and hit 65mph and it pulled slightly to the right but better.. Today Wed. April 14, 2021. Same 60 mile trip I had to do before. Guess what? The front right tire blows out on the 91 north on the worst part of the highway.. Myself and family could have been killed. The tire looked like it split from the rim down. Thank god my spare tire was ok.. I drove directly back to Tire Maxx this afternoon and brought the destroyed tire in and showed it to the older gentleman. He literally told me it was my driving, I hit something, I hit a pothole or something.. anything other then the tire was dry rotted and cracking. Would take zero responsibility for it being a bad tire. At this point I do not trust this business and do not want any products that they are selling. I asked him to refund me 170$ and he could keep 100$ and I would bring him back all of these tires. My total with them was 270$. I am on a fixed income and TRUSTED these people. He refused. the only option was yet again to put more questionable tires on. OUTRAGEOUS... Blamed me for their lack of quality attention to detail the first time with a dang snow tire and now after really being in a seriously dangerous situation blamed MY DRIVING?... I just put these tires on less than a week ago and this was the second set from THEM?... Now I am simply out 270$... how or why would I ever trust a business to provide any further services after this? I took my car immediately to the BEST TIRE SHOP hands down in Holyoke. Upon arrival my back right tire was totally flat! Angels were watching over us today that is for sure. I now have had to put four brand new tires on and will have to get a real alignment.. into this situation now over $600 while Tire Maxx bears zero responsibility. They did offer yet another tire so I will acknowledge that. I will say sometimes when things go this bad the best thing to do to make it right is a refund. I was asking for a partial refund and they could have kept their rotten tires. i don't know about there shop in Westfield but i would definitely avoid the one in Chicopee, go in with one problem come out with another,little things like screws n pins they don't put back,used tires that didn't last 1 year and for some reason all the bolts on my Transmission were loose and leakin took another mechanic to tell me,few other things i noticed like high prices compared to other shops.....etc, i will never give them business again read more

I paid 1800 dollars for repair work they said I needed some I knew some I questioned but they had me so concerned I said ok do the work I was just hoping I could trust them . Picked it up they said " car is pristine will feel like new car etc etc said how they ate some charges etc etc .Left their shop at 3:30 and 7:30 on my way to work I turned a corner and my car locked up and skidded and vibrated down road right into on coming cars my tie rod( which was part of repair) fell right off my car ........ I could have been killed and all they could say was "sorry " they patted themselves on shoulder and said "well refund u the tow back to shop and repair it free of cost ....... really "free of charge? U could have cost me my life . I asked them for a refund of at least 500.00 they gave me back 200 of 1800. They originally said they had no clue what happened when I picked it up after being fixed again no clue as to why it happened . I wanted to speak to owner of company who called me 3 days later and gave me some bs story about piece being defective . Why didn't mechanics tell me this on Monday they should have known and didn't they see this"defective" piece when they originally did the work 3 days prior ......
