I waited about 15 minutes before being told by the inspector that he wasn't doing any more inspections for the day because he was tired after being there since 8 a.m. He said he told the customer before me that he would be his last inspection -- but another customer wouldn't be responsible for telling me that, and he did not. If there's a cutoff time for inspections, it really needs to be clearly posted so people don't waste their time showing up well before closing and being turned away. Very poor customer service. I do wonder whether the owner or manager is aware of this decision to stop inspections early and the impact it has on customers.

The auto shop that I am using is fantastic and trustworthy, they are estimating that if the entire unit is cracked due to the severity of the hammer and screwdriver banging on it, that it may be a job upwards of $1,000. Valvolene has continued to be extremely difficult and although I was told by an area manager weeks ago, to send the invoice upon completion of work, they latest call from another area manager, Ashley said that everything needs to be approved by Valvolene first. Valvolene, Boston Road, Wilbraham, admittedly broke my Wrangler part. I am not trying to be made better, but "the same" as I was when I took my vehicle in to get a simple oil change.

The part they were describing just works that way in Volkswagens. He drove it over there himself to point it out but the guy at the inspection refused to acknowledge it and said if I brought it back again, he would fail it again if he didn't see new parts on there. Dave at Meineke suggested I just lose the inspection fee there and go somewhere else to get it inspected. He made me a deal. If it failed again, he would make the repair that was needed for free. That's how confident he was that the guy was wrong. Sure enough, he was right. It passed at the other inspection station. In a time where you just aren't sure that you're getting a fair and honest deal, this Meineke is a good place to go. They could have easily made several hundred dollars on me by replacing parts that didn't need replacing, but they didn't. I never hesitate to question their judgement.
