Sandwich and a side of French toast.

Was looking for a good breakfast and ran across this gem. Fast, Friendly, clean bathroom, a classic diner feel. Service was nice and friendly. Would definitely visit again.

    Momma's Special Casserole

Stopped in at the historic Broadway Diner, and it was fantastic! I ordered the Momma's Special Casserole, and it was perfect--hot, light, and fluffy eggs mixed with meat and cheese, served with one biscuit and gravy on the side. The fresh fruit and OJ were a nice addition. My daughter, who's very particular about her French toast, loved every bite of hers. We also shared a warm, gooey cinnamon roll, which was the perfect treat to top it off. The diner itself is small and eclectic, with a cozy, nostalgic vibe. Service was fast, and the food came out quickly, even with the place buzzing. Definitely worth stopping in if you're in Columbia!

Friendly staff, old-school divey-diner feel with counter service. Well-used old green shake machine in the bar. This place is busy and small with dinerish food. I like the diner vibe and simple real food, but believe it it could be improved with clean floors, windows and menus that you want to touch.

Truly a Diner Vibe. Staff is friendly and explained that the no price menu is because they do a lot of special orders. Their online menu has current pricing. The coffee is great. Homemade Apple Pecan Cinnamon Roll is very good, I didn't taste any pecans but the apple compote was a nice touch, not too sweet.

THE breakfast place in CoMo! The food was amazing, and traditional with great service. Small, cozy diner! They get you in and out. Will definitely be coming back to try the pie!

One of my favorite diners. It's got the atmosphere of a bygone past of counter service and delicious food. This is a great breakfast place in the downtown area of Columbia. Great menu selection as long as you include eggs, ham, bacon, sausage, has browns, biscuits and gravy in the order. Cheese is the optional ingredient. Decent coffee too that is an additional plus. I noted that they now have outdoor seating and a revised entrance/exit way. Highly recommended, especially early in the morning.

If I could give this dump a zero star I would! the cooks grab sausage crumbles throw them on the grill and then wipe their hands on their clothes and then continue touching food. Don't even bother complaining to the manager/owner because he couldn't care less. The place is absolutely disgusting. We saw roaches behind the counter where they cook. We decided to leave, and told some friends about it and somebody we know got crazy food poisoning from there. Don't waste your time ladies and gentlemen go to Glenn's Café. It's 100 times better and clean! The health department will be getting a phone call about this dump!

Broadway Diner is always a columbia treat. Especially after a night of drinking, I always crave some hash browns and eggs to put me back together. extra points with the toast too. Every time I have eaten in the diner we have had great service and the staff is really friendly and personable. However, every once in awhile we order pick up and there's been a couple times where we get home and realize we don't have everything we ordered which is always such a bummer when you're ready to sit down and eat. But again, dining in has always been great and it's exactly what you would expect from sitting inside a cozy local diner. The theme is spot on and while you're waiting the place smells wonderful and the kitchen is right behind the counter so you get all the wonderful smells and warmth from the kitchen.

    The Super Stretch, w jalapeños

The Super Stretch, jalapeños added. I had to get special dispensation to eat this sober at 8 AM, but it was worth it. Enough left over for two more meals, preferably in its natural state, inebriated at 3 AM.

    One Pancake- Chocolate chip

This is a small hole in the wall restaurant. Not much space in the restaurant but fill with people especially on the weekend. Order the western omelet, one chocolate chip pancake and hot chocolate. I was absolutely stuffed. I wished the eggs was a little more seasoned. The pancake was moist and really good so was the hot chocolate. I was stuff at the end of the meal!

Two Eggs with Bacon or Sausage or Hamburger

Popped in for a late Sunday breakfast, so late they were about 15 minutes from closing. They were friendly as can be! When my food came, one of the wait staff even asked if my bacon was cooked enough. Food was good as was service!

Too small, overcrowded. People want to linger but there's just no way that that is a possibility. Food is sub par. Biscuits are too doughy.

The guy who gave me my food and cooked it seemed a lot friendlier and gave me a smile. The food was just not good. I hate to be harsh but the taste was off. My boyfriend agreed that something just did not taste right. I appreciate them cooking it right then and there, so I was expecting a good taste but did not receive that. If there are better choices in the area, i recommend going to them any day. for improvement, the staff needs to be friendlier and more inviting!! i've seen that in a couple other of their reviews too!

My drink had a rose petal in it, but that little touch didn't feel contrived or cheeky - it was just a nice pop of color in a great-tasting drink. The baked Boursin cheese was absolutely amazing - I walked out of there realizing I probably ate half a wheel of cheese, and I totally didn't regret it. Dinner was the highlight - I ordered the boom boom shrimp - served on a bed of sushi rice, there were mangos, thinly sliced jalapeños, purple cabbage, shrimp fried to perfection, and a nicely flavored boom boom sauce on top. My only criticism of this place is that plates come out of the kitchen as they make them, so be prepared to share a dish or wait. We were halfway through my dinner before my friend's fish and chips arrived. I'm happy to share, but I'm not a fan of this dining trend. Overall fantastic dinner experience!!

Things started out well, the BF had a tasty Manhattan and I had a mocktail that was subtle and delicious, and not overpriced as mocktails often are. But alas. The house salads that we ordered were overdressed in a vinaigrette so acidic we couldn't finish them. And there wasn't much to them. Other than greens and fried shallots and pickled red onions, there was a tiny dusting of some finely grated cheese. And who needs two kinds of onions and nothing else on the salad? Then we each had a bowl of the matzo ball soup, which was ridiculous. Three matzo balls sitting in a quarter-inch of broth that was so unbelievably salty that we couldn't eat that either. We ended up asking for hot water to dilute the broth to a level of saltiness that was edible. The chicken was okay and the matzo balls were okay. A little gummy. But the broth was just awful. It all made me wonder if the chef had lost their sense of taste due to Covid or something. Seriously. I've had that happen to me a couple of times and all I could taste was really basic stuff like sour and salt. And our waitress was totally uninterested in trying to make our experience better. She wasn't rude, she was just indifferent to the fact that we'd been served two courses that we absolutely couldn't eat. Didn't offer us anything to compensate or even express any sympathy about it. We got out of there as fast as we could and made ourselves feel better with an Andy's frozen custard.
