I had the worst dining experience here than ever. Took my granddaughter to lunch. I received my order after waiting 20 minutes. My granddaughter didn't get hers right after. Then, when it came out, it was burnt. I was told it was a new breading. I doubt it came in dark brown! My food was cold, as hers didn't come out until 15 minutesafter mine. When I talked to the manager, I was told I needed to understand as due to the pandemic, etc. What?? So, this accounts for lost service and burnt food? Never will step in there again. Then I met a young lady who had worked there, and she told me the managers/ owners were rude to their employees. Smooth tasting coffee. Since I drink it black I can say that it wasn't as good as my fresh ground at home, but as diners go, it was tasty enough. I had two eggs home fries and corned beef hash. The home fries came out exactly the way I love them; extra crispy. The hash was not browned as I asked for, but tasted ok. Didn't have that salty zing I usually taste when I get corned beef hash at other places. The 'Happy waitress' sandwich was enjoyed by my wife. The French fries were lackluster, acceptable but unremarkable and kinda bland. Service was pretty good and friendly. Prices are reasonable and fair. Overall decent diner fare if you are passing by, but I wouldn't go out of my way to drive here as there are better diners within a couple of miles. read more

I find the Broadway Diner a hit and miss restaurant. I also think it's over-priced for a diner. The Red Oak on Front Street is better as an eatery and their prices are also more reasonable. Easiest said is...........Consistently awesome and delicious Diner food!! The atmosphere is always inviting. The employees are always attentive and quick to take your order which is a great thing. The food, its diner food. Always warm and always consistent, not the best, but very far from the worst. I've tried a few different things on the menu all of which are just as good as the next thing. One thing I was not even a remotely interested fan of was the french toast which was on some kind of weird bread I had never heard of before. They have great coffee!! Horrible service in general. I came in for breakfast to an almost empty diner. I sat there for 10 minutes before anyone came up to me. After moving out of the area I stopped in Broadway Diner today for brunch, and was very impressed with their breakfast foods! When I lived in town, I was never up in time for breakfast! The prices here are very reasonable, and if I was living in the area still this would be a frequent brunch stop of mine. I ordered eggs Benedict subbed with American bacon. Incredible! These were the best eggs Benedict I've ever had in my life. The eggs were perfectly cooked and the hollandaise sauce tasted absolutely amazing. I also got a frappe coffee, in which the waitress asked me my desired sweetness level. So thoughtful! The frappe tasted just like this draft latte I get down in Philly - so I was a very happy girl! The service was amazing, as always. I came here all the time when I lived in town, mostly for lunch or dinner. I came here after my high school graduation. Occasionally, there is a line at the door which is a good sign for any restaurant. But today we walked right in, got a table and had our food in about 10 minutes! The booths are comfortable and food delicious. This is a good place to come and enjoy a coffee on a cold day. I keep the Broadway in my breakfast line up year round. After being gone out of town for over 3 yrs in charleston this was my first time checking into this diner in New York I really think they did a nice job with the scenary introduction. The diner looks very clean & well painted from the exterior aspect and I especially liked the booth seats they had alot of cushion, the wait for the food was good only 10 mins. I was in Endicott & logged into Yelp to search for a restaurant. I decided to try Broadway Diner. I grew up in Philadelphia where there are many REAL diners. I must say this place is phenomenal. I ordered the Chicken Skewer with Rice Pilaf it came with soup or salad. I chose the Chicken Noodle soup. My meal & soup were awesome. I would definitely recommend this REAL diner. I'll be back! Love, Love, LOVE this place! It is a quintessential American diner from the atmosphere to the menu, plus delicious Greek dishes. The French fries are golden and crispy (I may have dreamed about them after my first sample). The Gyro is perfectly balanced to experience all the flavors involved. Great burgers as well. Lately my fiance and I have been going for breakfast on Sunday, and it has never disappointed. We've tried the Eggs Benedict, several omelets, classic eggs any style, and some of the breakfast sandwiches. All are delicious! You can't ask for more in a neighborhood diner. Recently renovated (to seat more guests!), this place has been run by the same family for years. Many diners in this area change hands with the seasons, but not Broadway. They're reliable and a great place to get breakfast. The food is good diner food.... nothing remarkable, but it hits the spot. If you're looking for a place to catch brunch in Endicott/Endwell, definitely eat here. There is a large selection of items on the menu, as well as a nice variety. The staff was pleasant and the food was delicious, as well as reasonably priced. Stopped by the diner for dinner with my parents and my 3 teenagers. As hoped for, the menu was diverse and extensive. A burger, a steak, buffalo chicken tenders, fried seafood all looked good to me. I ordered a Greek salad with grilled chicken. The vegetables were fresh, the olives were good (only two though) and the dolmades was fresh (only one though). The best looking meal though was the stuffed pepper my dad ordered. It was huge. Bigger than a softball. It was in a huge bowl and covered with tomato sauce. The stuffing was generous with the ground beef and also had rice. Recommend for dinner although I bet the breakfasts are great too. read more

Solidly the best diner in the Binghamton area. No others come close, really. Where other diners smell strongly of grease (and so do you, after eating there), this one is clean, fresh, and has the great services and low prices you'd expect. They have a charming, if weird, "Broadway" theme in the form of wall art and movie posters. Comfortable booths. Standard diner fare, and everything is good, from a great Belgian waffle to a truly decent burger and fries. Nothing will blow your mind, but if it's a diner you want, this is the only place to consider. On Saturday and Sunday, go before 11:00 or you'll have a wait. Sometimes up to 30-40 minutes. Unfortunately, this morning...my wife and I visited Broadway for some breakfast. There was a HAIR in her eggs. A little black hair, maybe nose hair, maybe an eyelash, or eyebrow?? But regardless it was DISGUSTING. This tells me those preparing the food don't wear hair nets or gloves. In a restaurant, this cannot happen. We called the waiter over, showed it to her, and she did take that meal off of our bill. But naturally, we both lost our appetite. Won't be coming back. I changed my mind about this place, mostly after I regergatated their chocolate cream pie. I have to now admit that I always went to the Broadway Diner because the place was convenent to where I lived, not because it was good. Last visit: I started with toasted challah bread. Except they don't know what challah bread is. They served me something that looked more like thick wedges of white Styrofoam. I showed my watress a photo of what challah is supposed to look like. These people obviously never met a jew before. No wonder their french toast made with challah bread is terrible. At least I solved that mystery. I normally get a ham and cheese omelet. Most of the time this is acceptable. This time the chunks of ham were the consistancy of eraser caps. I've got to stop deluding myself. All there deserts are terrible. The chocolate cream pie, as well as other deserts, seem to be made out of ingredients that are not quite food. Why do I keep trying their deserts? I keep trying another, hoping I'll find a good one...When will I learn that if the first four of them are not good then #5, 6, 7 are not suddenly going to be made with tender loving care? Of course, this particular piece of chocolate cream pie didn't stay with me for more that 45 minutes. They might want to try better quality control with the refrigerated desert case. Please check the temperature settings, or don't leave pies in it past their shelf life. I'll never go back to the Broadway Diner. I've heard that somewhere in Johnson City, across the street from some park, there is a decent diner. I'll try that one next. It may be worth traveling the extra two miles. read more
