I ordered the eggs and toast with fried potatoes, which is a pretty standard breakfast, my toast had a heavy handed dose of butter on it (much more than I wanted), but my eggs were cooked to perfection, and the meal was very enjoyable. I also ordered one pancake on the side to see what all the fuss was about. And even though I was ve try y full from the good portion sizes given here, I just had to try it. And I was light, fluffy, and tasted like one of the better pancakes I've ever eaten. They even served it with real maple syrup, not that corn syrup that comes from aunt Jemimas plastic bottle. The other dishes my friends ordered were too much for them to finish, the philly skillet had meat, potatoes, veggies and three eggs, it was totally a shareable meal. The chicken and avocado toast was shared, smelled, looked and tasted delicious. I stopped in here to meet a friend on a Sunday afternoon. I had to put my name down and wait outside to be called - wasn't an issue! By the time my friend arrived, our table was ready. The interior is pretty basic diner, which is what we expected. It was also busy and the server seemed to be running here and there! I ordered one of the skillets which was hash browns topped with bacon, sausage and hollandaise. It arrived quickly and hot and was just as greasy as you'd expect - yum. The perfect meal for a Sunday after a wine-filled Saturday if you catch my drift. I think if you're looking for a very casual weekend spot in this area, this could be the one! read more

Food was very good, service was excellent, and the ambiance was comfortable. 4 of us went and had a very good meal as well as a good time.

The breakfast is decent and the service is with a smile. The cooks know how to make your entree according to your specifications. The service is attentive and quick. The home fries (or has browns) lack any flavor whatsoever. Be prepared to use the salt and pepper. I was disappointed that pure maple syrup was missing. I had wanted to try this diner a year ago but we tried on a Saturday morning and it was packed to the entrance! So today I had my chance to check it out. The location is out of my way but we were in the neighbourhood. I really enjoyed the french toast special. The home fries were fresh and my french toast was fluffy and delicious. The eggs and sausage were cooked just right. The french toast or pancake special was only 12.75$ and it came with 2 eggs, sausage, bacon or ham, home fries and two pancakes or french toast. Our server was very attentive. Overall I had a pleasant experience and would definitely come back. read more

This is a good spot for breakfast. Omelet was over cooked for my liking. (This is the one dropped star). The potato was perfectly crispy for my liking. Toast was perfectly cooked for my liking. The beans no comment because I'm not a fan. The coffee was good and the extra pot left on the table is a nice touch. The waitress was very nice and on point checking in. This location is somewhat far for us but the service was prompt and good. Well sized portions. We each had from the breakfast menu although it was after 12:30 (afternoon) and not even a blink of the eye from our waitress. The down side is the tight spacing of the tables and chairs. read more

Holy yummy !!! The staff was very friendly and quick considering they were packed !!! I had a burger that had Monterey Jack on it and my goodness it was probably the best darn burger I've ever had !!! My boyfriend had a huge breakfast and ate every bite. No complaints there. For the two meals and a huge pot of tea it was 35$. Worth every penny!!! Highly recommend and will be returning for sure !!! read more

If you like reasonably-priced healthy portions of great food and don't mind a packed diner, this is the place to go. Lots of great choices on their menu. You get your own personal size carafe with your order of coffee. Had their Philly steak that was above average. Their house salad was fresh and they were very generous with the side of chunky blue cheese dressing that was out of this world and great for dipping French fries. Ate there on a Wednesday and wasn't too busy at 11:00 but a slow line-up at noon. Ordered breakfast - Western sandwich- came on thin toast, eggs were kinda flat, underwhelming. We were told fries are the frozen sort, so we skipped them. Glad we did when we saw them come to another table. Bacon and Eggs - Everything on the plate cooked well, except the bacon. We asked for well done but the strips came a little limp. My partner politely asked if they could cook the strips a little more, the chef interpreted the request a little differently than it was intended. The strips came back deep-fried and pretty much inedible.. Price was standard, decor was a snooze - but our particular server was really nice. Overall, not a place I would recommend but we might try again if hungover :) read more

Dropped in here to try it out, the place was packed and I felt my waitress was a little overworked. Had a great salad which was fresh and plenty of it was good. My main course was a full rack of ribs with mashed potatoes because that suppertime on Friday night they were out of baked potatoes, coleslaw and gravy on the side. The ribs on the menu were described as fall off the bone tender which they were not they were good but they were not overly tender. Mashed potatoes were OK and the gravy was as sick as chocolate pudding. I would try this place a game on a different day in a different time possibly for breakfast. Flies everywhere. The place was packed with retirees due to their senior discounts and all day breakfast. We were seated in a booth right in the center of the restaurant, I noticed my shoulder was getting wet and looked up to see this huge pipe on the ceiling was dripping water all down my shirt and onto the seat next to me. I told the waitress, and she told me that that's a normal occurrence because the pipe condenses when it cools down. Why are you seating people under a dripping pipe? It was dinner time, surely I wasn't the first to complain. We were moved to another table, my father put his hands on the table and the whole table counter tilted into his lap. The table was broken. We were moved again to another table. This one was under ANOTHER section of the leaking pipe. I was still getting dripped on. At this point, I got up, and moved my family to a far booth by their exit door. My mother and I ordered the same dish, steak with side of coleslaw and homefries. She had the seniors discount price, and her steak was SIGNIFICANTLY thinner than mine. Mine was easily twice as thick. The coleslaw was vinegary as hell, I couldn't eat it. Same with the caesar salad we ordered, vinegary dressing, fake bacon, gross. We stayed for the food and paid a good tip to the waitresses because they were working in a busy, full restaurant, but I'm never returning. read more

Had two meals here, they were great 1 was breakfast the other Liver and onions. I would have given a 5 star rating but being a ex restaurateur the home fries were deep fried which this is not the traditional way and just too greasy and is does not compliment the dish. Hopefully they change this asap. Other than than that, The family and I will return . read more

This place is great! Yes, they make a great breakfast but their Greek salad and gyro plate is so good! It's enough food for two meals and the salad is fresh, crisp and loaded with feta, tomatoes, onions and dressed with Greek dressing while the gyro is bursting with meat. Lineups move quickly, it's worth the wait. read more

Underwhelming. The food was at best average. I had the Blackstone Benedict, which comes with peameal bacon under the eggs with home fries and a fruit salad.
