    French toast breakfast.
    Kawone H.

The breakfast is decent and the service is with a smile. The cooks know how to make your entree according to your specifications. The service is attentive and quick. The home fries (or has browns) lack any flavor whatsoever. Be prepared to use the salt and pepper. I was disappointed that pure maple syrup was missing. How can you not have real syrup for Belgian waffles??

I had wanted to try this diner a year ago but we tried on a Saturday morning and it was packed to the entrance! So today I had my chance to check it out. The location is out of my way but we were in the neighbourhood. I really enjoyed the french toast special. The home fries were fresh and my french toast was fluffy and delicious. The eggs and sausage were cooked just right. The french toast or pancake special was only 12.75$ and it came with 2 eggs, sausage, bacon or ham, home fries and two pancakes or french toast. Our server was very attentive. Overall I had a pleasant experience and would definitely come back.

This is a good spot for breakfast. Omelet was over cooked for my liking. (This is the one dropped star). The potato was perfectly crispy for my liking. Toast was perfectly cooked for my liking. The beans no comment because I'm not a fan. The coffee was good and the extra pot left on the table is a nice touch. The waitress was very nice and on point checking in. The place did get noisy so be ready for that. The bathroom was clean. Overall a solid place and I would come back.

Hands down the best breakfast place in Hamilton I have been so far! The eggs Benedict was cooked to perfection and the quality of food is above the standard breakfast place. Great customer service and lots of options on the menu! Check it out if you want to start your day right!

Food was very good, service was excellent, and the ambiance was comfortable. 4 of us went and had a very good meal as well as a good time.

Not one item brought to our table of six was correct. Not a drink. Not a meal. Nothing. Terrible.

Super cute spot, and the milkshakes are to die for! Super friendly staff and the wait on the food is reasonable.

Typical diner food. However portions are huge if you are hungry. Staff is friendly. Place is always full though and very noisy.

Food was greasy. Service was good but not great. Turkey sausages were heavy. Asked for fresh OJ but they only had Oasis.

Entry is a single door with a ramp on the inside. Servers were quick to seat my friend and I. Service was polite and timely. We both ordered our own "Teenage Feast" which included Two eggs prepared to your taste, thick cut bacon, sausage, choice of toast, served with dutch mini pancakes, butter parsley home fries / salad or half & half. I opted for scrambled eggs, home fries, and rye (they also had sourdough as an option!) The meal was very filling, could definitely be shared between two peckish people or saved as left overs for later. Meal has a blend of sweet and savoury, leaning more on the sweet side. The sausage is sweeter than others (I enjoy this but I know it's not for everyone. The Dutch pancakes are so cute and little, coated in icing sugar, and served with maple syrup on the side to dip. For drinks I ordered the Maple Foam Cold Brew. Make sure to stir/not put your straw at the bottom of the drink or you'll get a hit of maple! Once it's stirred it tastes great. I'll definitely be back to try more of the menu (I'm eyeing the coffee flights)!

Nonetheless, they do have a few sandwich options and are open at lunchtime as well. I went back to back days. Day one was the smash burger and I got 50/50 with salad and curly fries which is a nice option. The next day I did the Nashville fried chicken sandwich with the same sides. Everything was very fresh and tasted very good. Both sandwiches perhaps were missing a bit of an X factor that would have me telling people it's an absolute must visit. For example, the smashburger probably could've been a bit more savoury (even greasier) to be a true smashburger, and the Nashville chicken spice level was pretty mild. All that said, it was made fresh and very tasty too, so I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone either. And like I said, I didn't even try the breakfast items which is the main part of the restaurant anyway.

Favorites include the arugula chick pea and black bean salad with jalenepeno pesto, any of their baked goods and sweets as well as their pizza. I LOVE that their pasta dishes feature Artie's handmade pasta (the best!) - but honestly was a little chewy recently with the pasta dish I got - could have gone for another minute. The standout for us was the desert - holy cow!! The Really Really Fudgey Brownie was UNREAL!! Sooo good. Service is friendly and helpful; you can tell the employees like their jobs, which helps the food taste even better. Their somewhat recent makeover and rebrand gives the restraunt a slightly more upscale feel which I'm not mad about. I love that you can dine outdoors as well, and bring your dog if you wish.

I sent it back for another one that came out raw as well, we had the second one put back in the oven and took it to go. I should have looked more closely at it before leaving, because when I was home I found the crust was still raw and inedible. It was the first and only time I have ever had to send food back at a restaurant. Our server relayed a message from the kitchen suggesting we request our pizza "well done" in future.
