Independent Beer Bar was established before the big trend so don't expect anything too fancy. Indoors is actually on the decrepit side. My wife had a Voodoo Citrus Pale Ale for $7. I had a Fat Orange Cat Baby Kittens Hazy IPA for $7. Pricing is fair compared to surrounding area. Our server was friendly and enthusiastic. Finally she came in front of me and just stared at me. I mean we were just staring at each other. No, what can I get you or what will you have. Frankly, it was weird. I don't think she said 10 words to me. I ask my order to go and left this establishment. I'm going to say it, as a black man I didn't feel the least bit welcome. I doubt if anyone will see this, but there you have it.
