We love this place. Easily the best pizza place in the area! It's such a home vibe - everyone is so welcoming, really feels like they're inviting you into their own home when we come here. The pizzas are so good - I think their sauce is what puts them over the top. If they bottled that up, I'd buy a year's supply worth. Their chicken wings are also really good - our favorite is their Japanese BBQ. In the summers it is really nice to sit out on their deck - fresh air and a beautiful view of the Sound. This is a great place to get beers after work with friends and coworkers or pizza night with the fam. Great for any occasion.

We decided to check out The Sound Pizza & Pub based on the good Yelp reviews. We enjoyed Sully's in the past so wanted to see if it's still good under the new ownership. Ambiance - The decor was nice with window seatings having views of the waterfront. There was a party of 4 already seated there so we opted for a more private table across from the bar. Service - Our server was great so 5 stars for attentiveness. Food - We loved the spinach salad; it was fresh and had plenty of garnishments. The chicken pesto pizza did not hit the mark. We felt it had too much cheese and not enough chicken or pesto sauce so it lacked flavor. The rim of both of our water glasses had lipstick markings so more thorough washing is needed. Since we live nearby, we will probably try this establishment again in the future.

The pizza was amazing! The location is really cool, and the servers were all very friendly and attentive. I forgot to take a picture of the pizza, but we ordered the garlic bread, and it was fire!

    The Meatlovers 14" pizza!!

This is hands down the best pizza place I have ever tried. Tucked in a cute little Mukilteo neighborhood with gorgeous outside seating surround by flowers and an amazing view of the beach. The Bruschetta was the most amazing, delicious, flavorful dish. The cheesy, gooey bread topped with basil, balsamic glaze and the most delicious little sweet grape tomatoes. We also got the 14" Meatlovers pizza as well as a 14" half cheese half pepperoni pizza. The cheese was absolutely delectable. Not rubbery and cheap like a lot of pizza joints can be and the sauce was top tier. Not too sweet, not too tart. The crust was not too thin but also not too fluffy. Overall the best experience. Can't wait to come back and try more dishes. The service was amazing as well. The girl serving us checked in multiple times and was very sweet and helpful since this was our first time.

This place is so cute and cozy!! We came to watch the football game and it was so much fun. It even has a view of the water. The food was great, service was amazing. Will definitely be coming back here!!

In short Great deals on great drinks, food is really solid,…read moreand the setting is nice and friendly. Only drawback is that the hours are limited. In long Lately we've been seeking out places that are literally quieter--less volume on the music, more space between the tables, and so on. I'd been wanting to check out 5x5, anyway, since it's the only spot around with an exactly perfect rating score. It looked like it'd fit the bill for a low-key place, and off we went. We came in shortly after they opened on a Saturday (4:00 PM). You're in a larger business-traveler hotel here, aimed at Boeing and Boeing-sub folks traveling for work. The building looks kinda generic from outside, but there's plenty of parking, and the lobby has a high-ceilinged atrium vibe for sure. Nice floor tiles, nice carpet, tasteful furniture. Everything's in perfect shape. You don't feel the lounge vibe right away, but there's a gigantic fireplace ahead of you, warming both sides of the room from the middle. Around that, there are lots of sturdy, shiny tables under the lofty ceilings. Off to the side, there's a little lounge area, then another one. Everything in the lounge is bar-height seating, and there are a few flatscreens, probably showing the game. Most folks are in here, sitting around the bar in the middle of the room. We posted up at a table just outside the lounge. Lindsey was behind the bar, and cheerfully answered every single question we had about food and all their cocktails. She's super friendly and makes a great drink for sure. She seems to have a bunch of regulars who aren't staying at the hotel, which is a great sign, no doubt. We checked out the warm pretzel--such a decadent treat. The waffle fries (and especially the aioli that came with them) were awesome. The pizza was a great choice; we added pickled onions to the Speedway. The crust could be a little crisper but we took home what we didn't finish and it's great here, too. Service on food and drinks was really quick. The cocktails here can be really creative, and there are lots of classics with house twists on the recipe. They even have a pisco sour they've tweaked--that's a fair bit of work for a bartender to make mid-shift. We got 5 great drinks and 3 nice plates of food for $96, and I don't think we even ordered anything from the HH menu. This is a very easy place to add to the rotation.

Way too expensive for a hotel lobby bar. If you want locals to come hang out make it affordable.read more

Non-alcoholic beer as well as canned wine can be purchased. Now equipped with a kitchen, pizza's (10") can be ordered to enjoy with your beverage. During this visit I has a can of House Wine Red Blend for $10 to sip on. For dinner I chose the Works Pizza (#10) for $15.50: red sauce, cheese, pepperoni, sausage, ham, red onion, olives and mushrooms. Quite the tasty pizza. ---------------- This is a cool little brewery right in my backyard. Free parking can be found in the parking lot. Discover is an accepted form of payment. This brewery is essentially a refurbished hangar so dress accordingly. It's a good idea to bring a sweatshirt or jacket to ward off the chill. There are a few TVs mounted throughout the hanger. Board-games are also available to play while sipping brews. Beer listings are displayed on a nice digital screen. A couple beers have a high ABV which limits those beers to two pours. There isn't really a kitchen; however, simple foods such as sandwiches and chips are available. Waiter service is non-existent. Orders are placed at the counter as well as picked up at the counter (beer & food). My wife ordered Audrey for $5 a pint. I ordered the Back Stabbing Bitch (2 pour limit) for $5 a pint. We both enjoyed our choices. For lunch my wife ordered the Traditionalist Polish Dog with original Tim's potato chips for $6. Can't go wrong with a hot dog. I ordered half a Big JW with a bag of jalapeno Tim's chips for $6. My sandwich was generously topped with meat and cheese and grilled to a nice golden brown. Tasty. We look forward to returning in the near future to slurp on some tasty beer while watching a game.

Now, I'm used to getting maybe 2 or 3 out of 6 beers in a flight as being not-too-good... it's just what I've learned to expect. Well, not here! No real defects in any of the beers, which was a statistical impossibility, I thought. Were they my favorite all-time beers? No, but everything was very good to excellent, and is now my go-to brewery in Everett!

I was not able to get one of the angled parking slots adjacent to the cafe, but found a 4 hour spot near their conference center and fire station down the street. They definitely take full advantage of the amazing waterway view on their multilevel terrace with various plantings and whimsical wood carved fixtures. The cafe has a variety of both outdoor and indoor seating. Welcoming counter service. There's breakfast and lunch menu items, baked goods, and coffee/tea service. I decided to hang out onsite with the warmed, tasty vanilla scone and well crafted, spring inspired 12oz mocha. A few folks were on laptops, rest were there for lunch and lively convo. It was also good to see upbeat camaraderie among the cafe staff. Always a treat to stop by an indie cafe that provides pleasant service, decent food/bev selections, seating for lingering, and an amazing view!
