I went in for a dexa scan and parking was easy with plenty of street parking. The staff at the front desk were very polite in person as well as on the phone the day before. The waiting area was clean and open. I filled out paperwork and was called within 10 minutes. The staff doing the dexa scan were very nice as well. Very organized and everything ran smoothly. Only giving 1 start so I can write a review. The truth is this is actually 0/5 stars. This is for two appts, two days back to back. 0/5 for both visits. What's it going to take to replace the receptionist ladies and bring in proper working individuals? Who knows, because all other reviews seem to have the same issues. The front desk is your first impression of this place. Anoush at the front desk is horrible, unfriendly and unprofessional. Not only is the front desk staff unprofessional, they're constantly speaking on their personal phone, they gossip with one another instead of working and are very slow. When I went to check in for my appt, she said a few things and I responded "sorry what?" She then said I'm on phone (personal call with her friend and it's on speaker). Sorry to inconvenience you at your job? WTH! Just because you're speaking Armenian doesn't mean I don't understand you. She then hangs up and goes "can you believe I'm still wishing people a happy new year? Hahaha". I CAN believe you suck at your job. I arrived at 7:45 for my 8am appt. The place is empty, which is great because I hope I'll be in and out in no time. I'm in pain and sitting hurts me a lot. Filled out two pieces of paperwork which took all about 1 minute to complete. I turned it in, I wait and it's now 8:15 but I'm still waiting to be taken in. I decided to go back up to the front desk and ask when I'll be taken in, since my appt was at 8 and I've now been waiting 30 minutes since I got there. Her response "your appt isn't at 8 I just told you to come at 8 so you can do paperwork." I said EXCUSE ME?! So what time is my appointment? She says 8:30. Then continues to give me attitude - as if this is her appt and she's the one annoyed. LOL.... Mind you, they called me a few days before to confirm my appt was at 8 and I also called the day before to ensure I'd be taken in at my appt time. I'm getting a MRI because I'm in pain but they don't care about that here. That's why I came at 7:45, 15 minutes before my appt, to do paperwork as you would with any medical appt. She's giving herself 30+ minutes to input paperwork into the system? This is because she spends her time "working" taking personal calls and doing who knows what else. It shouldn't have taken more than 5 minutes to input the two papers and I should have been in at 8. The MRI technician was actually very friendly and I'm grateful they have an open MRI. However, had it not been for my insurance sending me here, I would NEVER come back nor would I recommend it to anyone I know. The front desk experience solely defers me from this place. Unbelievable how an establishment like this is would continue to operate inefficiently. I have an appt today as my MRI had to split into two days. They texted me yesterday saying come 15 minutes earlier to fill out paperwork. I confirmed if this was necessary as I was just there and they said yes. I walk in 15 minutes early today (as I did yesterday) and they said we'll use your paperwork from yesterday. Is there NO COMMUNICATION happening here?! Wtf! Theres no parking. The front desk ladies are rude and need replacing. There are other open MRIs in the area and I highly recommend going elsewhere before these people get on your nerves. read more

I've been to many big hospital run imaging centers around Los Angeles for my kidney stone related imaging and I've always felt an impersonal and businesslike approach to my care. Broadway imaging center has been the complete opposite of my previous experiences as a patient. The staff was extremely compassionate, personal, sympathetic and friendly during my road to recovery. The staff made me feel like a member of their family and treated me as such. The front staff was professional and was brisk to avoid a long wait time (only waited 5 minutes). I had to cancel an appointment last minute to due a work related issue and the staff was understanding and accommodating and scheduled me for another appointment. If you want a personal healthcare experience I recommend this place since they made me feel like my health mattered and I will no longer be going to another cold and impersonal hospital run imaging center again! read more

I have visited this location twice and both times I received very good service. I had my first mammogram today and I was a bit nervous and thank God the technician Arpi was very friendly and explained the process.I felt at ease during the whole time. I checked in 15 minutes before my appointment and I was called exactly at my appointment time. It was easy for me to set up an appointment. In fact the receptionist called me to to ask when I would like to schedule an appointment. Go to Pasadena! Such a long wait time and front desk team was a challenge. I called ahead and requested an appt as per the phone prompts, I was told to text my information and call back. I call back only to find out first come first serve, so why did I have to text information? and you don't get in the line unless the front team can verify insurance, which is another challenge! I went to this location because I got a referral for some XRays . The worse place I been , horrible service not only were they extremely rude, but they started to speak in Armenia and toss me the paper work without telling me what they wanted me to sign. To their disadvantage I completely understand Armenian and heard the nasty comments and conversations they were having. You should be more aware that others may know Armenian and it looks completely unprofessional to talk ** about your clients. I came to this facility to get an ultrasound done and get an X-ray. Staff was very nice and accommodating. The facility is really nice and clean which I can't stay for the other imaging centers in the area. The technicians explained what the procedures were going to be like and what I should expect which was great because I didn't know how the ultrasound was going to be like or the X-ray. I was referred by my PCP for a mammogram and was beyond nervous. I'm used to having long wait times at hospitals and clinics even with an appointment but here I was seen fairly quick! With my family history with breast cancer , my technologist Alexandra calmed me down and took very good care of me. The front desk staff was warm and welcoming which calmed my nerves. My doctor ordered a CT scan for me and this was the location that was chosen for me, as I sat in this office I read all of the reviews and man I thought for sure I was going to be upset and leave a bad review. I arrived 15 minutes early, filled out the paper work and 5 minutes later was called over to the CT area. Total time spent there was 15 minutes, I honestly can't believe how quick it was. Even one star is too much for this Imaging center WORST service ever, the receptionist Anoush was so rude, I came to this because of my insurance. For X-Ray and MRI. They ask me for ID which was Ok, but the forgot to gave my ID. Back! I called them and I asked for my ID. They said no it's not in here! After a week search for my ID around I got a new ID from DMV. I came for second time and I asked personally for receptionist for My ID one more time and she said let me check. She open the drawer and she started to checked a bunch of ID!!!! And she saw my ID!!! It was there!!! I told them are you serious! Why you kept all patient insurance and ID in here???? They were so irresponsible for a patient the even didn't call to the patient to come and pick up their ID and Insurance card, even me. I was so mad and I asked for manager her name was Maral. She was unprofessional and rude too. Instead to tell me sorry for this inconvenience she said if you are not happy with our service, you can go somewhere else!! I recently went to Broadway Imaging Center (BIC) for my second mammography screening, which was a pleasant and positive experience. The BIC staff was quite courteous, promptly checking and welcoming me in. In addition, the BIC staff made me feel very comfortable and reinforced the steps, making it easier and more at peace, even though I was concerned about the outcomes of the results. Equally important, the technician was also incredibly knowledgeable; she helped me through every stage of the procedure while protecting patient privacy and maintaining professionalism. As a woman, I knew the importance of getting the screening, but it was also vital for choosing a place I could trust and depend on their skills. Hearing a doctor proclaim that you might have a serious prognosis in your BRAIN is one of the scariest medical scenarios one can fathom. I'm not a novice to heath issues as I have about 800 defects including terminal conditions (I wish I was joking); but localizing the brain is unchartered territory even for me. I've never had an MRI; but I am fascinated with the machine/test being that I read neuroscience books regularly. This lessened the fear of getting an MRI when I was referred to Broadway Imaging Center by my neurologist. Broadway Imagining Center is located on North Glendale Ave in between the intersections of Wilson/Glendale and Broadway/Glendale by the Glendale Civic Center and police station. As an imaging establishment, BIC specializes in x-rays, MRIs, CT scans, ultrasounds, etc. If it involves viewing your internal odds and ends; BIC has it covered. But unless you want to get into a terrible car accident before you even make it inside - then be careful with parking. BIC has an alleyway where one can park adjacent to the building but it is one-way and patrons still drive in incorrectly. Plus, parked cars create a narrow squeeze which resulted in my scraping my passenger side mirror and taking 100 years to shimmy out when I was leaving. Opt for street meter parking however this is iffy as well because BIC is open from 8-8 but Glendale Ave doesn't allow parking in the rush hour window starting at 4pm. D'oh!  When entering BIC, the open lobby looks like either a bank or a DMV complete with dark brown seating. There are no magazines to browse and while signs blatantly declare no cell phone usage due to the magnets on the premises; every single patient was on a phone with some having annoyingly-loud verbal conversations. Other Yelpers complained about the receptionists and although I didn't have an issue over the phone - I agree that they are rather unprofessional in person. No one at BIC was particularly welcoming nor do they explain anything: they are too busy socializing and gossiping (other reviewers have also noted such behavior). This isn't an ideal experience when you are about to have a medical procedure. When it was my turn for the MRI; an employee took me to the changing room where I was to put on a gown over my clothing and lock up my belongings. I knew ahead of time not to wear metal (I had to remove my nose ring) but was put-off by the dressing room. Even though I was only putting on a gown over my clothes; anyone can just waltz into the draw-curtained room because it has no door/lock. The room was rather filthy and the cabinet in which to lock your belongings was broken. I'm talking broken like wood splinters, a hanging lock, loose handle, etc. It took me several tries to get it to stay shut and locked and I still didn't trust it at all. Geeze, BIC! Can you say, 'ghetto'?! The male led me to the MRI machine and basically shoved me onto the contraption. Not literally, but he didn't explain anything at all or ask if this was my first time. This could give many people a panic attack! Even when I mentioned that I've never had an MRI; he still brushed me off. I'm glad I brought my own ear plugs because they didn't offer any or headphones like other imagining centers. At least the machine and the room itself appeared to be modern and clean as opposed to the makeshift dressing room. My MRI was quite an experience, to say the least. My earplugs came in handy as it was still insanely loud (the electricity through the magnets is what makes it so loud). I can compare it to a 80s D-list space film mixed with an indie goth dance bar and a construction zone. Plus, I don't know if this is unique to BIC or all MRIs have this functionality; but there was a very loud pumping sound that could be heard even over the commotion. I suppose this is meant to keep you breathing/calm but it honestly gave me anxiety. Upon completion, I was returned to the dressing room but wasn't escorted out. I stopped at the front counter to ask when the test results would be ready as I wanted to pick up my own copy other than just what is being sent to my neurologist. I was told it would take five business days and can pick up a print-out for free and a CD of the images for $5. The biggest positive of BIC is that they had the test results lightening fast in about two days. BUT when I picked up the report (which is actually just a one-page summary); I wasn't told that the CD requires special software to view the images and thus I wasted $5. Scammers! BIC isn't the worst but certainly isn't the best and needs to work on their broken facilities and customer service/bedside manner. Not to mention the shitty parking situation and $5 CD scam. At least they give fast results. read more

I called 3 times to for my report and the CD. First of all they hung up on me all three times, And when i drove there to get the CD. they said they charged for the CD. This was the first time that i had to pay for a mri CD. I have done MRI on many many times and i never had to pay fo CD. read more
