Trivia night was such a good night, good questions and a great host. Skyler was such a great server! Food was good and the drinks cold!

The bartenders are awesome, you can tell they have been there awhile and enjoy working there. The bar is a divey, neighborhood unique place- one of those unique things being the firefighter chalk hand prints in the back. You can tell there are regulars who feel really at home there- I would definitely recommend to anyone stopping into the Rockford area!

Me and my wife tried this place today for dinner cause we knew they had a barbecue pit on Fridays,…read moreand Saturdays. My congratulations to Will one of the Pitmasters. The food was awesome. I had the pulled pork sandwich and my wife had half a slab of ribs. We have eaten barbecue in Tennessee and in Kansas City. And I have to say the pulled pork sandwich was the best out of all the places we had eaten in Tennessee and Kansas City The ribs were really good too. they were in between so they were not fall off the bone and they were not tough. They were right in the middle and it had a dry rub of pepper and some other spices, but it was really good. We tend to like the dry rubs better anyway because I find that I'm very picky about my barbecue sauces. Will said that they were going to be there all summer on Friday and Saturdays. I will definitely be back to try some of that sliced brisket and have some more pulled pork. If you're in the area, I would definitely stop by if you like barbecue. It is definitely worth the trip. Also, the prices are not bad. This place had a nice neighborhood bar atmosphere. There were places to eat inside and out. Also, the waitresses were really nice and friendly. Great job guys! Tell Will, Mike sent you.

The vibe on a Friday or Saturday night is high energy, happening, and buzzing with lots of the friendly locals of the Joliet area. All of the bartenders are amazingly FUN, FRIENDLY, and quite TALENTED. Especially my main go to bartender named "Danny". Everyone loves Danny, he's the best and the nicest guy ever. Come for the music played via "YouTube" music videos played on a big flat screen TV by request of the customers, the AMAZING HANDMADE CRAFT COCKTAILS, GREAT CRAFTY FOOD DISHES, and the overall ambiance of a1920's speakeasy yet situated in somewhat modern times.

Tin Roof is one of those unassuming places that most people just pass up. For sure it's not fancy. You might be able to catch live music. Cheap and rustic is an accurate way to talk about this bar. It's located outside a small town on the way to Starved Rock. The inside is bigger than it looks and apparently is a great place to listen to local bands or whoever. However most come to get boozed up and complain. It's about $5 for a basic mixer. Whiskey and whatever. Food is also pretty basic. Mostly fried things. It's about $5 to get a basket of Pretzel Bites. These are great to munch on between sips. Food menu is pretty uninteresting to be honest. There's also other fried things like jalapeño poppers and mini tacos. Got a few cheap cocktails and okay munchies out of it. It's located on Route 34 a bit west of Somonauk. The food here actually is shitty but whatever.
