A family member had made reservations at Boundaries about a week prior. We get there early and have a couple drinks and noticed the time had passed from our reservation. We informed one of the bartenders and unfortunately their hostess was not there so we were accidentally skipped. It was already a very busy night at Boundaries with many people at the bar and many of the tables already taken. But they acted quickly, threw some tables together and we got seated very quickly. We could tell that they were understaffed that evening. Many of us have worked in the hospitality business and we absolutely understand when these things happen. We got our orders in and after a very minor wait, we got our food. It was hot,it was delicious, it was cooked perfectly. I want to commend the staff for working so hard last evening and being very sincere and nice. We all collectively agreed that this will not be the last time we will be dining at boundaries. When you go, get the deep fried pickles, they were delicious!!! Best ones I've ever had.

You go to cut a piece of fish before you can get it to your mouth, it falls apart on your plate and then the breading all falls off it was overcooked over fried and all you got was breading. The rest of it was mediocre at best. The service come to the table. What do you want? Bring your food to the table drop it off walk by with their hands full of plates and says do you want anything else then wait and wait and wait to get your check and once you finally get your check and you give her the money you wait and you wait and you wait for them to come back and give you your change and then they want a tip. I got a good tip for him. Get a new cook and work on your waitress skills oh, and by the way, I will say them girls look like they should be working at a topless club more than a restaurant. They either had pants cut up to their you know what or shirts come down to there you know what half naked the majority that was two girls that had decent shirts and jeans on never probably going back there again, and I hope you read this and take it to heart not everybody that comes in. There is a drunken man after work on a Friday night put some uniforms on those girls at least make them cover up their arms, their legs and their private parts.

We ordered burrata appetizer, which I forgot to take a photo of since we were so hungry, while he ordered the farmer's trio for himself and I ordered the Short Rib for myself. Burrata and the table bread are actually fantastic. The entrees we received are very generous portions which makes it good value for the money, but at the same time, it was very heavy and a little too rich in flavor. Presentation was already great. Halfway through dinner, I was really debating between 3 or 4 stars. Because of all the positives, I was going to give it 4 stars even though the food didn't really impress me that much. Desert unfortunately tipped that scale to 3 stars. We ordered Tiramisu. It was the saddest looking tiramisu. We could tell the bottom was watery and soggy. The cake part was dried out. It does look like either it was too old or it was refrigeration issues. We took a bite regardless to be sure and we could tell by the taste that it was an older cake. As someone who's been in the restaurant industry for 30+ years, that actually could be a health violation. We did send it back and they said they'd bring a new freshly made one... which I declined. They should have done that first rather than offering that after the fact. However, the service is great overall. Just could use some work on certain things. And regardless of the restaurant, the hotel is actually very nice. If I was to be back in the area again, I'd stay at this hotel again but eat at the steak joint across the street at Ironworks hotel instead.
