Coffee!

Very cute diner not too far off of 20. Bigger than you think, groups can fit here! Had a bit of trouble finding it, but they are in the process of getting new signage. We spoke to Nancy, she is very nice! Great big fluffy pancakes, good coffee, great friendly service! Good prices and food choices as well! They even had a keto breakfast! If you are in the area, stop in! Yum!

Nice little surprise in this small town. We ordered off the lunch menu- a wedge salad with grilled chicken & chopped steak with fried okra. The chopped steak was very tasty & the fried okra was probably the best Ive ever had! The chicken didn't have much flavor and the wedge salad seemed more like a Cobb salad. That would be my only critique for the food. Homemade Strawberry shortcake for dessert was delicious. Prices were very reasonable & they have a good variety on the menu. We would definitely eat here again!

Yeah, that's 1 egg Allright

Food tastes horrible, served/cooked with old burnt grease. Worst breakfast experience ever...

I ordered the eggs/sausage/pancakes and figured I would get a side of the hash browns to see what they tasted like.

Prairie Street is a great place to go in Rockford! Whether for a nice Dinner,…read more Shareable's, or enjoying the Deck - You'll always meet a friend in there!,

Everyone Deserves a second Chance…read more I visited PSB on my lunch because they have a Plant based Gyro and that in itself is very difficult to find. They were steady for lunch but not nearly as busy as I expected at 1230 on a Friday. I sat at the bar, and the bartender was very nice. She was very polite and attentive. I ordered the one thing I came for (obviously), and was surprised by how quickly It was ready. Something I appreciated as I was on lunch at work, so I had limited time to begin with. The Gyro was delicious! I got their pickled onions on the side as I wasn't sure how strong they'd be. They were actually very good and an excellent compliment to the gyro itself. The Gyro was served with Potato Wedges. These I could have done without, they differed in size so the cook was drastically different depending on which one you got. The small ones were almost over done and the large ones weren't cooked enough. The Sandwich was definitely the highlight of my meal. This place is so cool, Such a beautiful building with amazing outdoor seating. My other complaint is the price. $20+ for a sandwich (after tax) is outrageous. I am very happy to have tried it, It was delicious. I most likely won't go back for that sandwich though. Too many options around at a fraction of the price. This place definitely deserves to be tried by everyone. They are one of the best spots in all of Rockford.

Checked out this brewery in Freeport after coming across other places that had their beers…read more Generations is one of the main reasons to come here. It certainly has quite a few things on tap. A lot more in cans. They also have a few snacks. By the looks of the outside it wasn't anything special, just like a warehouse or something common. It's a lot more interesting inside. The taproom has enough room for the bar, and quite a few tables. Got a view into the back to see where the beers are made. There's a balcony where bands can play live music too. Beers are why people come of course. It's about $7 a pint. Best one we had of these was the Tawny Ale. This is an Irish Red of medium strength. It's about $12 for a soft pretzel. These are massive so they're great for sharing. One of the dips looked like peanut butter. This was actually fudge if you can believe it, and you can get cheese as well as mustard. For sure it's one of this city's main attractions. It's got lots of beers, and because it's in the Pretzel City, get one of those to munch on. They're closed Mondays and Tuesdays.

A very cool, relaxing, welcoming place to enjoy a beer, have great conversation with a bartender,…read moreand sit outside when the weather permits. A large bar with well designed beer garden. They have a variety of beers and one named after Freeport the Pretzel City! They have lagers, pilsners and ales. The environment is relaxing and the building stands out ! Since the main road is under construction , GPS did not help, but after we realized it kept rerouting us to the closed road. If in the area, stop in. Also their beer can be found in many locations in the Rockford area and some Binnys.
