This is a good lunch spot for anyone working or living in Homestead. For anyone growing up in the NY/NJ/PA tri-state region, this is a little bit of home away from home. There is plenty of nostalgia hanging all over the walls. The food is delicious. I'm a big fan of the cheese steak. I'll use the caveat that I'm from Jersey, five miles from Philly, so I know what a philly cheesesteak should taste like. Being said, I never call anything outside Philly a "Philly cheesesteak" BUT this is a great cheesesteak. Period. The staff is pretty friendly and they bring your food to your table when you eat in, always a plus! Be sure to get a chocolate chip cookie on your way out. The only con for this place is that there is limited seating and it can get pretty packed during lunch. Fun Fact: Justin Long (the actor from the "I'm a Mac" commercials and movie "waiting") ate here once. There is a picture of him with a creepy mustache on the wall. This place was amazing! Great menu with lots of options for adults and Kidd's. Food was terrific. The entire family loves everything they got. Lobster bisque was the best I ever had. What makes this place great is their attention to detail. Its a small little hole in the wall serving all the usual sub shop suspects, including a few of their own creations. It takes a bit of time to get your sandwich due to the small size of their grill, but have patience because you will be rewarded for it. The ingredients are ultra fresh and sandwiches are on point. Both Daisy and John were extremely friendly, and I was sorry I did not realize they have been running this great business in this location for 15 years now! This is one of those tiny gems you take friends to if you're trying to impress them with your local knowledge. The food has a home cooked meal feel. I don't come to this sub shop often, this is about the 5th time I pay them a visit. I was having a rough day at work and I was CRAVING a sub from here. They originally close at 6 pm and when I called at 6:15 they told me I was still able to put in an order, even after I told them it would take me about 15 min to get there. When I got there I realized it was the owner of the shop who was taking care of me, super hands on, and always very happy.
